Conditioner -Got 2 Be - Hottie Deep Rescue Conditioner [DISCONTINUED]

I used to be a hair treatment junkie. I know, it's irrational...but until I found Got2B Hottie Deep Rescue Conditioner. I have very long hair, so they get tangled VERY easily. When I am in the shower, this condition de-tangles like NO OTHER. It smells WONDERFUL! As well, it gives my hair such a silky and soft feeling, it's so awesome. I have been using this conditioner for 5 months now, and I will continue to use it. I don't EVER want this product to run out/discontinue!!!! LOVE
Eye Shadow -Joe Fresh Style - eye shadow - all colours

Wonderful, absolutely wonderful! I have been a MAC maniac for years and recently I tried Joe Fresh eyeshadows for the first time. I have to say, these are so MAC comparable. They are all very suitable for everyday looks. Great pigmentation, great packaging. I am blown away. Will I buy this product again? Abso-freakin'-lutely!
One of my favorite blushes, even if compared to my high end blushes. It's a light to medium true pink that's just so flattering on light skin. I am Everyday Minerals Olive fair/light. It suits me wonderfully. I am actually planning to get a backup of this even though I still have a lot left.
Cleansers -La Roche Posay - Effaclar H Cleansing Mousse
angeltearsofthenight 6/15/2009 8:54:00 PM
This is my HG cleanser. I use this with my Clarisonic, and it makes my face sooooo clean. If you have acne prone, oily skin and wear makeup, this is a great cleanser after using makeup remover.
If I could give this product a 0 lippie, I definitely would! The sunscreen caused me to have a horrible rash EVERYWHERE on my body, wearing it just for one day! I don't understand what they put into this stuff, but I have NEVER had any reaction to skincare products like this!!!
Liquid -Almay - Clear Complexion Blemish Healing Makeup

I recently returned to using this foundation after 2 years of using other high end foundations. I have to say, I have tried every foundation in Sephora and in the department stores. The problem with most foundation is that they contain silicones and usually are quite rich, such as foundations from Dior and Chanel. Sure they keep the oil production at bay, but they cause me to break out like crazy. After two years of switching from various ones, I came back to this one. I have to say this is perfect for my oil, acne-prone skin during the summer. It does not cause break outs at all and is liquidy, comfortable to wear.
I got a sample yesterday from Sephora and decided immediately that I need this. It's such a flirty, light, and girly smell. To be honest, I am never a fragrance person, but this one is just so light and fresh! I must say I will wear this everyday!
Sunscreen -Neostrata - Oil free sunblock for face SPF30
angeltearsofthenight 5/25/2009 1:10:00 AM
First of all, I would like to say I have extremely sensitive skin, easily irritated, acne-prone and super oily on my t-zone. My skin has been cleared since Proactiv, and I want to make sure it STAYS clear. Since Proactiv doesn't have a heavier spf, I came to Neostrata, a brand I have never encountered before. I have tried so many kinds of sunscreen and honestly, for the longest time I just really didn't bother with it because it is so difficult to find one that suits me. I think I have found my HG sunscreen, however. :D The texture is not AS liquidy as Shiseido SPF 55+++. However, it does not irritate my skin AT ALL because it does not contain silicons or oil. I love that. For any one who has acne problems, your worst enemies are silicones and oil, which can be found in most skincare problems, unfortunately. Again, it is a little thick for summer...the time when you need it the most. (sigh) However I gotta have to live with it.
Yes! I will definitely re-buy this line of products over and over and over again. I don't understand why Proactive has gotten such bad reviews on here. Honestly, it did miracle on my skin! It took me 4 years to buy this line just because I am not a fan of Jessica Simpson and her advertising. However, recently I was getting really desperate because my skin was getting worse wearing Dior mineral foundation. One day one of my clients came in and encouraged me to use Proactive, and I am so glad I listened. It has been 3 months now, and proactive has made SUCH a difference on my acne problem. Unless it is that part of the month or when I am extremely stressed because of Law School, this line really takes control over my acne. Not only that, but my skin has become so soft, and so fresh! Because I have oily skin, I don't have a problem getting way to dry. If I do, then I just stop using it for one day and use my Caudalie Purifying Concentrate all over my face at night, and then go back to Proactive the next day. It is wonderful, truly amazing. I understand why some people with more sensitive skin or dry skin would have a problem using this line. If so, then switch it back and forth with your normal skin regimen, and you won't get too dry. Other than that, I think people just really need to be patient with products. It does take about 2 weeks to see results.
I am completely obsessed with Beyond Paradise. I have always loved jasmine, and it is SO difficult to find a fragrance that has a strong note of jasmine, but finally I found it! This is my HG fragrance, period.
I originally had no intention whatsoever to get this lipstick because the tester was all disgusting. However, I had to pick 2 Back2Mac lipsticks, so I picked this one and Vegas Volt. At first I was skeptical about it, but now it is my absolutely favorite day-to-day lipstick. It is sheer, but with color. It is coral red, but no scary at all. I have very pale skin, dark hair, and girly features, so this lipstick makes me feel super "cute". I like it. :)
Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15
angeltearsofthenight 3/4/2009 12:25:00 AM
It is the best lip balm, period. It does not contain patrolum jelly, which dries out your lips, so you feel like you need to put it on over and over. This one is totally different. Put it on and forget about it! I use under my lipsticks to prevent it drying out my lips.
Cleansers -Bare Escentuals - RareMinerals Renew & Reveal Facial Cleanser
angeltearsofthenight 12/25/2008 11:01:00 PM
I do not know why others do not like this cleanser. I think it works beautifully. I am a La Roche-Posay girl mostly, especially with their Effaclar line since I have oily, acne prone skin. When I started Bare Esentuals foundation a year ago, I LOVED it, and I continue to love it. I have to say it is the BEST foundation ever created. Maybe it is not for dry skined people, but for me.....let's just say, it not only gave me luminosity, but also stopped my acne problem. This cleaser, on the other hand, is becoming my favorite. I know it's expensive, but I think I will reduce my other expenses so I can afford it. It really is great. I do remove my makeup entirely beforehand. It exfoliates (even though it does not feel like it) my skin beautifully. After patting my face dry, my face does not feel dry at all, but soft and smooth. I use the night treatment afterward, and they combine fabulously!! I highly recommend it for people who have acne-prone, oily skin.
Palettes -Urban Decay - Book of Shadows [DISCONTINUED]
angeltearsofthenight 12/2/2008 1:13:00 AM
This is my first UD product as I am usually a MAC fan. Other than the packaging, I love the colors. I know the packaging is abit cumbersome, I don't really mind it. The colors, on the other hand, are comparable to MAC, especially the duochrome colors! LOVE IT.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief
angeltearsofthenight 11/27/2008 9:13:00 PM
I really don't understand why people badmouth this product so much, it's like a mob mentality thing going on here. I really don't understand. Clinique's Moisture Surge is my daily must have. I have been using this moisturizer for over 2 years now. I have oily skin during the summer and dry patches during the winter. It is moisturizing for oily skin yet it is a gel, so my makeup never "melts" during the day; yet at the same time it really helps moisturize during the winter because it is not heavy. It has no smell to it, so that's a bonus. In the end, people with oilier skins should really try this out especially during the winter when Dramatically Difference Gel doesn't moisturize enough.
