Loose Powders -NARS - Light Reflecting Setting Powder

Have I been photoshopped?Looks like it! I have been searching for a product like this. When foundations are nowadays so high quality, and are supposed to give glow, loose/pressed powders matify skin, and you loose the wow-effect. (ATM using Nars Sheer Glow Deauville and YSL Teint Radiance) I have mature skin, but no visible wrinkles. (I use MAC brush #150) Some products emphasize fine lines and other imperfections, but this makes the best of your skin. Can be used over TM, BBs etc.but delivers best with foundations. Controls my natural oils over 9 hrs. I usually have oily skin during summer, but as this is a new product, summer is not here yet. This is not a miracle product, so don't expect too much if you have bad skin problems. Normal and combo skins will benefit the most. This is a must have product, and I will def repurchase.
Totally in love. Classic perfume with classic notes like rose, patchouli, amber, vanilla, bergamot, mandarin orange. This is what a sexy vampire would wear. Evenings are getting darker, climate is getting cooler, sexy heels, blood red lips and Midnight Poison. Walk to a mystic, sacred forest at midnight when the moon is full - it must smell like this perfume. A real perfume that grows and changes. And great longevity. I think this 30 ml EDP is discontinued, but 50 ml and 100 ml are still on the international websites. For classy ladies who like classic orientals.
I think So Chaud is very this spring/summer. It was actually quite hard to find a flattering bright orange. So Chaud is matte, stays all day. MAC has described it well as reddish orange. I don't consider SC red. On my NC20 skin it looks very orange. I get lots of compliments. I prefer reddish orange to curry orange. I line my lips with coral-orange Lasting Sensation by MAC and if I don't feel matte, I use SC under NARS orange Wonder gloss.

Welcome to Finland, Finland. I'm NC20, and Finland is the best match for me so far. It is a little darker and more yellow than Laura Mercier Porcelain, redder than Stila Bare, less red than Urban Decay Halo. It might not work with ladies who are NW15.Then Laura Mercier Porcelain is better match. But I think for NW20, it is not too yellow, because Finland is more neutral and beigey than yellow. But if you are torn between LM Porcelain and Nude, like I was, then NARS Finland is your choice. It is medium coverage, not very light like UD, more like LM. Feels like silk. Love it.
I have this in my Skin Deep palette, and it is really an amazing color. Only shimmery nude that looks really good on me. I'm NC20. Will repurchase soon. I have tried many lipsticks and glosses to pull out 'the perfect nude', not too dark (not nude), not too light (makes me look dead). VLV looks quite boring on tube but it is really flattering, at least on warm/fair skintones. Another NARS winner.
For this price I would expect something lasting...and thicker. Creme brulee scent is okay, but just okay. Not worth the money.
I love Lush soaps, but sometimes it takes one year to use one. It took me and my hubby three weeks to use a bite of Candy Cane. It is just so lovely and creamy, and like a real candy cane mixed with vanilla, almond, cherry and all things sweet. Scent lasts quite long on skin, and also my bathroom smells like a candy store. Holiday product, but I had to stock up, what I never do with seasonal products.

This HG brought me to new Millenium. It was goodbye for '90's makeup - solos and matte. Beginning of new make up era for me. Found this again, and the shimmery beige is still one of the best I have seen in about ten yrs. After finding Hard Candy...found Urban Decay etc. Nostalgia.
I got Prada Candy (and Flowerbomb) for xmas. I got a sample earlier and kind of liked it, but my friends loved it. I love Flowerbomb, but I have been using only Candy since I got it. At first it is like watery caramel, not gourmandy, more artificial. First ten minutes it is rather annoying scent, but when it dries down, it grows to a nice woody, powdery scent. I would say, very modern with a retro twist. It lasts all day, and one thing I like about Candy, is that is not too strong for daytime use. I think thats why I keep using it. I like it, but will not buy myself. Fall/winter fragrance.
Moroccan oil it is. I could throw away everything else. My hair is very long, colored, fine, and gets tangled in few hours after washing it. I have been desperate to find something... I dont want to cut my hair. Very expensive though- 38 €, but I will repurchase. If I cut my hair and it is in good condition, I think Moroccanoil will not work. Only for badly damaged fine hair, or very thick hair.
I have been using Miss Liberty for few weeks now. It is beigey peach, with very fine silver glitter. I'm NC20, and first I was scared that ML is too dark for me, and I really dont need another blush. After using ML almost every evening I can say that it is not too dark, neither too silvery for my warm complexion, it makes my face look alive. I use ML with bold eyes or bold lips and conj Zen blush - I think that shimmery/glittery blushes like Orgasm dont look good with ML: I was looking for more golden and light product, but ML is really beautiful after all. I think it will be beautiful summer product as well. Will not repurchase because this will last forever.
I bought this a year ago online without having a chance to try it first. My first opinion was that I made a big and expensive mistake. I have been on eternal search of perfect vanilla. I dont like cheap artificial vanillas. I thought this will be 'the one' according to reviews. I used Vanilla Gourmande few times last winter, and then thought that I will give it to a friend. Scent is really strong and heavy, very overpowering, like a vanilla cloud around you. It is very pure vanilla, vanilla liquor, but slightly too sweet and too floral. I started using this again on early December and been getting a lot of compliments from other women. After few hours it dries down to very sexy vanilla. And not cheap teen vanilla. Vanilla is supposed to be something that men think is sexy. Few my male friends said that it is too sweet. It will take a long time to finish this bottle, because I think it really is a Holiday/winter fragrance. Will not repurchase. Recommended for vanilla lovers collection, but it may be too strong for many. Scent lasts all day.
I was surprised not to see Oasis reviewed. Oasis is part of Nars fall 2011 collection. It is described as 'sparkling pink champagne' which is quite true. For sparkle, there is little amount of sparkling, and it shows only when looked close and in sunlight. Dont get scared of sparkles, there is very little sparkle and it looks 'adult' not cheap teen sparkle. Color is pinkish berry, but not loud pink/berry. It stays well, and i think it will suit many skintones. I'm NC20. It is not too cool for my yellowish skintone. I can use it with liner to make it look more berry, and it is powerful enough for evening. I use it also without liner, when it is less powerful and makes a good daytime gloss.
I bought this for my friend, and thought that is not my type of fragrance but will be beautiful on my blond and well-dressed friend. And it really is. Very chic and feminine, but powdery. She stayed night at my place and next morning the scent was still strong, but even better. I could consider wearing it too. She fell in love with Parisienne.
Looks really nice on a pan. But that is about it. Worst Nars eyeshadow I have tried. Yellow/golden microglitter doesnt show at all. Not suitable for 'night'-look, more like summer/daytime eyeshadow. For best results try with primer and gunmetal grey.
