Concealers -Coastal Scents - Camo Quad - Light

I am not impressed with this product. I don't have very dry skin, but whenever I use this, my skin looks incredibly flaky. It looks horrible under my eyes, settles straight into the few fine lines that I have, and just looks really dry. It does have good coverage and is super pigmented. I don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of this concealer, but at least it was cheap.

Lotions/ Creams -Victoria's Secret - Ultra Softening Body Butter

I've tried this in Pure Seduction and Sweet Daydream. Overall, it's an okay product and I might buy it again. It gives some moisture, but not enough for my dry winter skin. One thing that I noticed yesterday was that the Sweet Daydream has isopropyl alcohol in it. I'm not sure why they would put that in something that is supposed to be soothing and moisturizing. I will definitely not buy that scent again. However, there is no alcohol in the Pure Seduction. I would recommend checking the ingredients in the different scents to avoid the ones with alcohol in them.

Cleansers -Mary Kay - Mary Kay Deep Cleanser Formula 3

This stuff was horrible on my face!!! It broke my face out so bad and felt like it was burning it. I had huge cystic acne on my chin and tons of whiteheads after using this for about 3 weeks. As soon as I stopped using it, my face improved a lot. It took awhile to overcome the effects of it and calm my face down. I'm gonna have marks for awhile from this one. Horrible stuff.

Moisturizers -Mary Kay - Oil-free hydrating gel
anesty 4/18/2008 1:57:00 PM
This is one of the only Mary Kay products that I actually like. I love that it's oil-free and doesn't break me out (which I can't say about a lot of Mary Kay products). It seems to sink right into my skin and make it feel so smooth. The only cons are the jar that it comes in and the price. But other than that, I have no complaints. Ingredients: water, dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, glycerin, propylene glycol, cyclohexasiloxane, betaine, camellia sinensis leaf extract, algae extract, tocopheryl acetate, sodium pca, proline, arginine, glycine, alanine, lysine, glutamic acid, serine, threonine, sorbitol, butylene glycol, hydrogenated polyisobutene, glyceryl polyacrylate, c13-14 isoparaffin, polyacrylamide, peg-12 dimethicone, carbomer, laureth-7, disodium edta, benzophenone-4, triethanolamine, phenoxyethanol, methylparaben, dmdm hydantoin, ext. violet 2, red 40

Toners -Almay - toner 2 for normal to combo skin

I think I've found my HG toner for my sensitive, acne-prone skin. This is gentle, but leaves my skin feeling clean. I actually notice my pores looking more refined after using this. And it doesn't aggravate my skin and cause more acne. The dispenser is convenient.

Cleansers -Boscia - Clear Complexion Cleanser with Botanical Blast
anesty 4/18/2008 1:38:00 PM
I love this cleanser!! It is the only part of the Clear Complexion kit that I liked. It cleans really well without overdrying. My skin seems a lot calmer after switching to this cleanser. It is a little expensive, but a little goes a long way. And the results are totally worth it for me. EDIT: After using this cleanser for months, I began to realize that my acne was not improving at all. It wasn't getting worse, but it wasn't improving. I found that St. Ives cleanser for combo skin cleared my skin up almost completely and has kept it fairly clear. Plus, it's a lot cheaper. This cleanser is good at removing all makeup, but not good for my acne.

Skincare - Face -Boscia - Clear Complexion Kit with Botanical Blast

I wasn't too impressed with this kit. I have mild to moderate acne and don't feel like this kit did much to help it. I really liked the cleanser and have bought the full size of that. It is gentle and not overdrying, but cleans my face. I didn't care for the toner at all. The point of toner is to get the excess makeup and dirt off your face, so I feel that you need to wipe your face to get the full effect, not just spray it. Like another reviewer said, I felt like I was just spraying water on my face. I could only use the treatment gel at night because it left my face sticky and didn't work well with my makeup. I liked the moisturizer at first because it controlled the oil on face, but I think it started to dry my face out to much. Nice gentle products, but I don't feel like they did what they were supposed to in clearing up acne.

Blush -Tarte - Natural Swirl Full Blossom Cheek Stain
anesty 4/18/2008 1:23:00 PM
I think the idea of this is really great, but this just didn't work for me. The color didn't last at all on my pale skin. I'm with the other people that mentioned the smell. It would last forever and it wasn't pleasant. I could smell it on my fingers for hours after, even after washing my hands. The worst part of this for me, and the deciding factor in returning it, was that it made my cheeks break out with big cystic acne. May work for other people, but not for me.

Toners -Ponds - Cool Calm Perfected Pore shrinking gel toner
anesty 7/31/2007 4:16:00 PM
I really liked this toner at first, but it started breaking my face out and burning it. My chin was like hamburger with huge cyst-like zits and flakes from being dried out. As soon as I stopped using this toner, my face gradually began clearing up. I also didn't like the menthol burn that comes with using it.
