I adore this bright orange-red matte lipstick. On my yellow NC20 fair skin this colour is very, very bright, but so gorgeous. Yes, its matte which does leave you with dry lips at the end of the day, but it really does last for hours, with little reapplication needed. This fiery colour is lovely paired with a clean face(i just use a light layer of MACs face and body) and curled lashes and defined brows. It's a great pick me up for those days when you're wanting to add something to your outfit. Go try this out if you're on the look for a long lasting dragon red, it's worth it!

Blush -NARS - Cream Blush in Penny Lane

I've had Penny Lane for a while but it's only recently that I've started to use it regularly. At first I was'nt applying it correctly, i.e i was using my finger and far too much product and whilst blending it on my cheek essentially i was rubbing it away. I left it for a while thinking it was the consistency of the cream blush. Since buying the Real Technique's core collection I tried applying this blush with the contour brush that comes in the set. I stipple the product onto the apples of my cheeks and gives the most gorgeous glow. I am an olive/yello NC20/ Fiji in Sheer Glow, and this paired with laguna bronzer gives a great finish. I would certainly recommend this but be aware of how you apply it; perhaps the small 188 stippling brush from MAC could work well too.

Mascara -Illamasqua - Masquara

This mascara is really nice, but you have to be careful as when it's new, a ton of product comes out and can be messy. What I did was open it and left in my makeup bag for a few months. You can also wipe off some excess mascara before application. This gave me very fluttery lashes which were dark and had a lot of volume and length to them. The brush is similar to DiorShows and BadGal, I've tried both and don't think Illamasqua is better but is definitely in the same category.

Liquid -MAC - Face and Body Foundation
rated 5 of 5

This is a really, really nice light foundation. What I love about it is the application is so easy; it is so thin in texture that I use it with my MAC 187 stippling brush to gently smooth it over my face. It also dries very well, and does not transfer onto clothing (which, sadly, so many foundations do). My skin is combination but never feels oily, it gives you a dewy look, that's for sure. I do prefer this to tinted moisturisers, if you're look for a light coverage base. I highly recommend if you're simply looking to even out skin tone, and give a nice finish. This is great for those days where you do want to wear makeup, but not make too much of an effort. I use C1 as an NC20, and it's perfect.

Liquid -NARS - Sheer Glow Foundation

This Foundation is lovely. I use this with the Real Techniques Buffing Brush, and it leaves a satin finish. It covers most of my blemish scarring nicely, and adds a radiance to the skin without it looking greasy. I powder with the Laura Mercier Translucent powder and this combination lasts a good 10 hours, without a primer, and my skin is combination. I bought the pump along with this, as without it, its extremely messy. Being an NC20 i use the shade Fiji, its a perfect match. I will repurchase, before, I'd like to try the MUFE HD.
