I never thought a primer would make a difference but this primer is outstanding!!! I have worn eyeshadow for over 25 yrs and always thought my shadow wiped off by midday cuz i was using drugstore brand. Now that I'm older and can affford prestige makeup i still noticed my eyeshadow woud diasppear although it stayed on little longer than revlon or loreal. I saw this at nordstrom rack for $8.99 so I bought one. I was blown away the first time i tried it. my eyeshadow stayed on the whole day. I work 12 hrs as a nurse and my eyeshadow remained on til i got home at 8pm. I cant rave enough about this product!! btw i also have a primer from Tarte and Laura Geller but they dont measure up to UD esp tarte. Now im hooked on UD makeup esp the eyeshadows!
Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Sulwhasoo - Concentrated Ginseng Cream

I admit i'm pretty obsessed with my skin. I have oily skin prone to breakouts and now that I turned 40, I'm starting to see signs of aging. I have tried various skincare which are all pricey and since I'm korean i thought to try korean skincare. I heard about this line for a while so i bought a set over christmas. the set came with balancing water and balancing emulsion. cost $115 and it came with sample sizes of few products. The salesgirl also gave me a starter basic kit and it contained this cream. so far, I'm really liking the whole line, esp this cream. it has slight herbal medicinal scent but not offensive. the texture of the cream is super luxurious! feels thick, rich and slightly oily for my skin but next morning my skin feels and looks healthier! It is expensive but you get a 2oz jar so its comparable to peter thomas roth unwrinkle cream which i was using. (that one is $110 for 1oz) I plan to purchase this cream once my mini jar runs out. If you live in orange county, ca, they sell this at Arirang supermarket in Garden Grove. They have a small Amore stand which sells the sets you wont find at Neimans or Bergdorff. I will only buy from the young salesgirl there who gave me about 15 extra samples. The older ladies arent so generous. I know it's expensive ladies but remember, it's our Face!!!!.
I really like EL blushes. This is beautiful shade of pink that shows up nicely on my nc25 skin. color is extremely fine milled and easy to build up. I think the quality is right up there with my chanel blush and cost only $28 dollars instead of $43 for chanel. only annoying thing is the compact is hard to open
Blush -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Powder Blush - Wild Sunset

I love blushes so am always on the hunt for new shades. I love EL blushes. i bought three at Macy's. wild sunset, pink kiss and exotic pink. I love all three shades and the quality is superb! very affordably priced for the hugh amount you get. only negative is the compact. it's little difficult to open but will not deter me from purchasing more colors especially when EL has a GWP.
I can only agree with all the other reviews. malice is gorgeous!!!! beautiful peachy coral that looks flattering on all skintones. I made sure to bring my fiance to Bloomingdales so he could pay for it. only con is the price but i probably will buy more. all the colors were stunning. I also love rose petale and tumulte.
I love blushes and have many but cant seem to walk out of nordstrom without buying another one. I picked this one up because i love pink and even though its little bright for my skintone. its densely pigmented so apply sparingly. overall i'm starting to really like mac blushes. very affordable, decent staying power. great selection of colors.
I've heard great things about Laura Mercier makeup so i bought this blush on sephora. I love the color. not too light or dark. richly pigmented with good staying power. looks really natural on my light asian skin. but i wont bw buying anymore because it's so small for the price. I mean really small!
while visiting my parents in gardeen grove, i found a beauty supply store nearby and i couldnt believe they had opi nail polish for half price!!! i bought 13 bottles and this was one of them. pricier than the others but the color is gorgeous, i love pink and this one is light almost mauvy pink. love the sparkles. very high quality polish as is all opi nail polish. highly recommended
Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Abra Therapeutics Detox Complexion Wash

i picked this up for 7 bucks at empire beauty supply and so far i like it. you need very little amount(dime) to work up a lather and it doesnt dry your face. i also bought desert essence thoroughly clean face wash next door at whole foods and i have to say i prefer abra. i have oily blemished skin and this has not caused me to break out. i'm curious to try other products in this line since it is so affordable!!!
i really like this cleanser. dime size amount is all you need to work up a lather and it removes makeup completely. i had tried other derma e facial lotions and was not impressed by any of them but i like the cleanser. it 's reasonable at 10 bucks for 6oz so you can use it for few months. doesn't dry out the face. i'm interested in trying some other cleansers from this line.
i picked this up for 3.99 at marshalls and i tried it few times but does not agree with my face. i have oily, acne prone skin and it seems everything except water causes breakouts. it's made it very hard for me to do any anti-aging maintenance since i'm worried i will breakout. now i just use it on my body as sunscreen. why couldn't i have been born with nice skin!!!
i bought few bar soaps from nubian, kiss my face, one with nature, trader joe almond soap and i have to say nubian beats all of them in every way!!! really cleans and lathers well with amazing scent thats not too strong. rinses clean. i love it so much that i just bought 14 more bars. worth trying out!! it's only 3 bucks!!
i love all nubian soaps. they smell great overall and doesn't dry your skin out. made with really high quality ingredients. no harsh chemicals. i just bought 14 more bars on iherbs so i can give them out to family and friends. highly recommended!! also really cheap at 3 bucks a bar!!!!
Skincare - Face -Aloette - Time Repair Anti-Wrinkle Serum
amysuh 5/19/2009 2:30:00 PM
about a year ago, i bought some aloette products on a home shopping channel. they had a great deal on the 2 serums. i think i paid less than 50 bucks for both and i bought two sets. i completely forgot i had this since my bedroom looks like a drugstore with so many products. i found this in my sisters medicine cabinet and decided to try it and i really like the serum. i've used it for a week and i find that it doesn't cause breakouts and it soaks in right a way. i wake up with much more healthier skin in the morning. i'm 37 yrs old and i've come to accept that i never had good skin and never will. (thaks alot mom and dad.) this product really helps. i will definitely buy again.
Treatments (Eye) -Cosmedicine - Opti-mologist Eye Cream with Light Diffusers

i tried this until it was empty and not impressed at all. it's sort of thick almost vaseline like consistency. it doesn't spread easily and sits of top of the skin. for the hefty price tag, i expected better. i couldn't help but notice the company that makes cosmedicine is klinger. i dont know if it's the same as georgette klinger whose skincare went out of business. i have tried her eye cream and that one also sucks majorly as well!!
