Great stuff. I love the matching shampoo, too. Leaves my hair shiny, smooth and easier to comb through.

This is the best shampoo and conditioner I think I have ever used- and I have tried many. I can't believe this is a drugstore brand- so good. Does not weigh hair down and leaves it shiny and smooth.

Blush -Cover Girl - Cheekers in Snow Plum

Perfect highlighter. I think this is too light as a blush, but I bought it to use to highlight my cheeks and it works great. The price is right, too.

Lip Gloss -Clarins - Gloss Appeal- Paradise #03
rated 5 of 5
amya 4/22/2008 3:27:00 PM

This is a very nice lip gloss. Not sticky, and feels very smooth and moisturizing. Paradise #03 is a blue based medium pink, somewhat iridescent. I really like it for summer- not too bright, not too light. I want to try other colors, too.

This stuff is great. I use it once I am done styling my hair (which looks a little frizzy, with flyaways).....one pump of this on my hair and it is VERY shiny, smooth and soft. My hair is not left greasy or weighed down. This is a great product.

Yummy and smells just like carrot cake. Expensive, but goes to charity- so I can't complain. I also got the carrot cake hand cream- perfect scent for fall/winter. Got it at Nordstroms

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lustreglass - Palatial [DISCONTINUED]
rated 5 of 5

This is gorgeous. I don't find this bright at all- more a medium pink (with green duochrome). Sounds like a weird combo, but it works! Nice texture and brightens the face. Not a color I would have gone for, but it looked so cool in the tube and looks the same when on.

Lip Gloss -Maybelline - Wet Shine Diamonds Liquid in Spoiled in Rubies
rated 3 of 5

I happen to like this. It is a pigmented gloss, which I wanted. The name is misleading, but you can tell by looking at it in the tube that is is not a true red. It is a pink/red- I liken it to a Marachino cherry. I apply with a lighter hand, so it does not overwhelm. Sparkly and brightening on me. I have dark hair/light skin/hazel eyes. EDIT: Ok, maybe this is a bit bright for me, but pretty nonetheless. I think if your skintone is darker, you may be able to pull this off.

Eyeliner -New York Color - Waterproof - Dark Brown
rated 5 of 5

Wow- what a great find. I only got this because Ulta had buy one get one free and I needed a dark brown eyeliner. I was not expecting much, but this is EXACTLY what I had been searching for. A dark brown, slightly shimmery eyeliner that has good pigmentation, goes on easily and stays. Most dark brown eyeliners with some shimmer were too warm- I wanted a true dark brown. Not too shimmery, perfect color and cheap- bonus! Will probably go back and look at what other colors they have.

Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Glimmer in Nude Beach
rated 4 of 5
amya 9/22/2007 1:10:00 PM

This is a pretty shimmery nude color, not too warm. I like mixing this with Drama and using that as an all over eye color and then using Twig (similar to Drama, but a bit darker) in the crease/outer eye. Very pretty smoky eye for day and night. Nude Beach on it's own is a bit too light for me and does not work well alone for a highlight color on me. I use Ulta eyeshadow in Silk as a highlighter for this look (dup for MAC Nylon). Pretty smoky eye for day or night. Nude Beach is a pretty color, but I like mixing it with other colors.

Eye Shadow -Bare Escentuals - Twig Eyeshadow
rated 5 of 5
amya 9/22/2007 1:04:00 PM

This is a pretty shimmery dark brown. I was looking for a nice darker brown shade to use in the crease that was not too warm- no bronze or coppery tones. This fits the bill. It is similar to Drama, but just a bit darker. I love mixing Drama and Nude Beach together and using that all over my eye with Twig in the crease and outer eye. Use Ulta eyeshadow in Silk as a highlight (dup for MAC Nylon) and you have a pretty smoky eye for both day and night.

Skincare - Face -La Roche Posay - Thermal Spring Water
rated 5 of 5
amya 9/20/2007 3:30:00 PM

This stuff is great. I am an OSPW - and this works great for me. Helps hydrate/tone down flaky skin, tone down redness and is just refreshing! I spray it on my face after I cleanse. I also use it after I apply foundation to help set it and spray it on my makeup sponge to dampen it a bit before applying foundation. I will buy this over and over. The selenium in this water is supposed to be soothing to irritated skin.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Sean John-Unforgivable Women
rated 5 of 5

I love this one, too. Very pretty and seems like a fragrance one could wear anywhere. I think it is versatile and not offensive. I am not good at describing fragrances, but I think this is soft and pretty. Also, the price point is not too bad for a dept. store line- $55 for 2. 5 ounces. Not cheap, but not too expensive (in comparison). I think this one will be a big seller.

Eye Shadow -Ulta - Twilight
rated 5 of 5
amya 9/13/2007 6:51:00 PM

I agree with the other reviewers- this is very pretty. The problem is- I already have a color very similar to this (without realizing until I compared them)- it is very close to MAC's Moth Brown eye shadow. It is a complex color- with brown/plum and some grey tones. Although this may not be an EXACT dup of Moth Brown- it is VERY close (MB may have a bit more gray to it.) So, if you can't find Moth Brown, or want to spend less $$- go for Twilight! If you wait for a sale- you can get it even cheaper. I got mine for buy one get one free, and along with the $3.50 coupon you get in the advertising fliers or online at ulta.com- it is an even better buy!
