The first time I used this, I pushed too hard on the product and the entire balm/scrub broke off! So basically, be careful. Despite this minor mishap I continued using the product and can attest to its awesomeness. It smells so yummy, the scrub really helps eliminate flakes and the balm makes my lips incredibly soft. Would definitely repurchase (and try not to break the second time around)!

I really like having three shades on hand and I get great undereye coverage with this palette, but it doesn't last! The initial finish is better than anything else I've tried but within two hours (I'm prone to rubbing my eyes) it's as though I never applied it to begin with. I even set the concealer with powder when I'm done. What a pity - I would totally love this if it lasted even half the day!

Primer/ Corrector -Make Up For Ever - HD Microperfecting Primer in 1 Green

I used Smashbox Photo Finish almost exclusively for years because although it was a bit slimy and thick, I just wasn't satisfied with the application and staying power of my foundation when I used other primers. Last week I picked this up on a whim and I'm officially converted! I love how the green tint lessens the redness on my cheeks and the finish is great: smooth but not heavy. Foundation and concealer applied and lasted like a dream. My new HG, for sure.

Lip Gloss -Lancome - La Laque Fever - Electric Pink

It's pretty obvious this gloss wasn't created for an everyday natural look, but it's amazing as a standout gloss! The fuschia color is bold and the excessive pink sparkles aren't overkill for a night out. I would definitely repurchase...

Mascara -Too Faced - Lash Injection PinPoint

This mascara really didn't do much for me. The small wand was nice, since I have Asian eyes and it allowed me to easily reach my inner and outer lashes, but that was probably the only thing I liked. The smell is the same as the regular Lash Injection, and I absolutely hate it. This may be a personal thing since it doesn't seem to bother many other people, but I just couldn't stand it. The mascara itself worked okay - nothing special. It didn't clump, my lashes were nicely separated and it stayed on all day, but I was underwhelmed. I returned it after trying it on for a week.

If it weren't for the price, I wouldn't even hesitate to repurchase this product. I got a deluxe sample from Sephora and I just LOVE it! It feels nice, doesn't leave my skin totally tight and bothered, and actually manages to remove most of my eye makeup (a tough feat). I love foaming cleansers in general but this one beats out all the rest!

Polishes -Essie - Aruba Blue

Wow! I bought this a long time ago on a whim but never got around to using it. I finally applied it for the first time just yesterday and I'm in LOVE! This is definitely my HG blue - it's not so dark that it falls into the goth trend, but it's still gorgeously deep. If you love blues, definitely buy this.

Wow, I'm definitely in the minority here - while this product isn't HG for me, I'm pretty impressed for the price. The color works really well on my skin and while it's sheer, it covers just enough of the redness on my cheeks. I haven't broken out yet, which is also a good thing. The only downside is that immediately after application, I tend to look a bit shiny...but a little bit of powder and/or blotting paper is enough to remedy that.

I have possibly the sparsest, shortest lashes in existence, and am constantly trying out new mascaras. I bought this one on a whim and have to say I was rather disappointed for the price. On one hand, it does an excellent job lengthening my lashes with minimal clumping. On the other hand, it runs and smudges far too easily for my taste - all it took was a little tearing to create black smudges all around my eyes. It IS a decent mascara, but there are better ones out there for the price.

I have to admit that I didn't care much for this when I first got it. The other day I found it and decided to give it another try, and surprisingly enough I'm now in love with it! It really moisturizes well and the gold shimmer is not overly noticeable.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Shadow Effects

I bought this in Bone FX awhile back and generally use it as a lower lid highlighter. I really like the shade and how easily the product applies, but the staying power isn't great. I would buy it again mainly because I've yet to find a replacement for the shade. I use the pencil with normal large eye pencil sharpeners and while it's true that they don't seem to work so well, it does the job.

As someone who suffers from constantly chapped, peeling lips, this product was godsend...it can be a bit messy during use and it took a while to remove all the grains properly, but lipstick application was AMAZINGLY smooth afterwards...I'd definitely buy this again. Excellent product.

I found this product at Cosmetic Market in NYC, and bought it for a rather discounted price. I was a bit skeptical about the color at first because it looked very orangey-red, but lo and behold, it was fantastic! This has now been my go-to blush for several months. The color blends nicely and makes your cheeks look naturally glowy, not over-the-top.
