Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Gloss -all
ammura 6/8/2011 11:10:00 PM
I have several of these and I must say that this lipgloss is my go to especially when my lips are chapped and peeling. Normally chapped peeling lips look terrible with gloss but this gloss is my lifesaver! It completely moisturizes my lips and makes them absolutely luscious. Some of the glosses have more color payoff than others, but I love them all! Truly better that lip balm at least for my lips. Whenever I go into a VS, I ALWAYS end up picking one or two. Some tubes (with the diagonal gold striping) are less thick and have an SPF 15, so if you are hanging out by the pool they are a total must have.

Mascara -Rimmel - Sexy Curves Waterproof
ammura 10/13/2010 6:32:00 PM
I bought this mascara after hearing about how great it was. Big Mistake! When I first bought it about 2 months ago, I really hated it; it was too wet and it just clumped. I thought about throwing it out and I believed I had until yesterday that is. I tried it again after seeing a video on YT. I dug it out and used it and here are my thoughts. First off, it had dried out and was not as wet as it was when I first bought it (about 2 months ago). I found that the trick for me, as I have pretty long and somewhat thick lashes) is to use one of those metal eyelash combs you can get from Sally's and it helps with the clumping. It is not as bad as I had previously thought. To take it off I use Sonia Kashuk's Makeup Eye Remover and it does a great job. But I would definitely not repurchase this mascara again.

Blush -Smashbox - Blush Rush - Flush
ammura 10/13/2010 6:22:00 PM
I bought this blush after seeing Tiffany on YT highly recommend this product. I went to my ULTA and bought it. I have olive skin; I am C4 in MAC Face & Body Foundation. It is very natural flush, hence the name. It is kind of what I had wanted MAC Well-Dressed to be. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my Well-Dressed; you just have to build it up! Anyhow, though it is pricey, you don't use much! If you are in the market for a natural glow, it isw orth taking a peeking at it.

Powder -Pur Minerals - The Pur-Fect Starter Kit
ammura 8/1/2010 2:02:00 PM
I bought this kit with the intention that I would experiment with it to see if I could wear it to my BGF wedding, as I had worn BM a few years ago to a wedding after having had a baby--My skin was flawless and I received so many compliments that day. FOUNDATION does not have the same coverage as BM by far; it is ok for a day when you don't feel like wearing makeup but I am not too happy with the foundation. MINERAL GLOW is great. It warms up your whole face; not really a bronzer as it is a little light. It gives the face a beautiful glow. BLUSH is pretty, gives me a natural flush. I had bought the full size years ago and not used it. But now I will definitely be using it once my little one runs out. I put it on my cheekbones (following the advice of YT gossmakeupartist). I also put a little on my lids and lips. It really brightens up my whole face. I have not noticed the crayonlike smell though. SO in conclusion, would I repurchase this product? The foundation: NO; Mineral Glow: YES; the blush: YES, though you use so little that it is going to last me a very long time. UPDATE: I used the powder foundation 2 days ago and it broke me out in certain places (one on my nose, one on my cheek, and one on my nose). I still love the Mineral Glow; I bought the full size. I even tested it out on my mother in law, who is 66, and she loved it. She went out and bought one. I can not say enough about how much I love this product. I bought a another PUR Kit (feautured in mosr recent ULTA catalogue) for 30$ which comes with a full size Mineral Glow, a beautiful trio of eyeshadow (earthy tones) and a lipgloss, plus you get another trio of eyeshadows for FREE.

Polishes -Orly - Nail Polish
ammura 5/19/2010 3:13:00 PM
Hmm..I have had a completely awful expereince with my first Orly nail polish. My mom bought it for me and I think it was one of those LE colors in Cotton Candy. The color is gorgeous (peachy corally pink) but the consistency is VERY thick, goopy, & streaky. I am not sure if it is just a dud or what. I am truly disappointed:( I will go back to Sally's Beauty Supply and compare the consistency with other Orly nail polishes. I will update later !

I did not like this.I wanted to as it received rave reviews on YT. I did not have a problem with the color. It was the caking effect. noramlly, I don't have dark circles. However, there are those days when I am sleep deprived so a concealer is a MUST. Well. this made me look worse! I looked better with my darkish circles!

Conditioner -Organix - Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner
ammura 2/16/2010 4:27:00 PM
This is my HG! I was using Nature's Gate conditioner (Jojoba) But my hubby could not stand the smell so I had to look for something else. I use the Organix Coconut Milk conditioner as a conditioner for my hair as well as a styling product for my curly thick hair. I have been using for a year and I love what it does to my hair. The scent is amazing and best of all it does not give my hubby an allergic reaction. A couple of weeks ago i ran out and so i decided to use something else. Needless to say, I ended up going back and buying the Organix conditioner. Hands down the BEST! BTW, Walmart sells it for less than 6$, as opposed to Walgreen's @ 6.99.

Tinted Moisturizer -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Enhancer SPF 20
ammura 10/26/2009 12:11:00 PM
Forst off, I did not have a problem finding my shade. I was a bit apprehensive as some reviews had indicated an orange tint. NEvertheless, I found my perfect shade. It went on very smoothly. I loved the texture and the feel of it on my skin---it gives very sheer coverage. The retinol and spf were a plus. . After I wore it the first time, it broke me out and I felt it, midway through my day! EEEK! I mean I have been dealing with hormonal acne for about 10 months and I had finally gotten a handle on my breakouts. I was quite disappointed, as this is the first Neutrogena product that has broken me out I put it away and forgot about it. About 2 weeks ago, I decided to give it another try and I was left with yet another breakout. So this is not for me! Disappointing but c'est la vie! Since then, I have found another TM which works better with my skin: Laura Mercier Oil Free TM. Yes, it is more expensive, but it has more coverage, and most importantly no breakout!
