Fragrances -Prada - Prada Beauty Eau de Parfum

My boyfriend bought this for me, and I love the scent. It makes me feel like a lady-- very grown up. The only complaint (apart from the staying power) is the atomizer. Has anyone else had problems with it? I got the perfume in February and have used at a normal rate. I stopped using it for a couple weeks, then looked at the bottle, and the level of perfume was really low-- a lot lower than I remembered. I noticed that there was a lot of oily substance around the base of the atomizer and the nozzle (is that what it's called?). I also recalled walking into my bedroom 8 hours after spraying the perfume and being able to smell it very strongly in the air. Was it evaporating? Was the atomizer dispersing the scent? I took the atomizer out and am using the silver lid, which makes me sad because the allure of the perfume is largely in the atomizer. Boo. :(

I'm pretty happy with this lipstick. I like the color-- it's pink, but not too pink. The lustre is nice. Very low key color and good for every day use.

Lipstick -MAC - Gleam Lipstick

I buy this lipstick all the time-- my only complaint is that it doesn't last longer! I'm a PPP and what I love about Gleam is that the color is not overwhelming on me. It's pretty neutral and shimmery. I love this!

Shampoo -TiGi - Bed Head Moisture Maniac Shampoo

This shampoo is pretty terrible, at least for my dry, curly hair. I figured that having the word "Moisture" in the name of the shampoo might mean that the shampoo moisturized, but it only stripped my hair and made it fuzzy. It didn't feel very clean, either. Avoid this shampoo and its conditioner!

Concealers -MAC - Studio Finish Concealer

I've been on a search for the perfect concealer since Shu Uemura discontinued their Mark Cealer. This MAC concealer isn't perfect, but it's close. It covers my dark circles pretty well, the color selection is outstanding and can match my foundation and powder. My only complaint is it's texture/lasting power, but if I dust it with Sheer Select, it stays almost all day. I'd say this is similar to Becca, but easier (for me) to obtain and $20 cheaper. On the whole, I'm quite pleased with it.

Concealers -NARS - Vanilla Concealer

This is the worst concealer I've ever tried. I have super dark undereye circles. I went on a concealer hunt at Sephora a year ago and asked for heavy-duty concealers-- they pointed me to this, Shu Uemura's Mark Cealer and Lola's concealer. I put this under one eye and the Mark Cealer under the other. I thought the two were roughly equal, but the Shu had a slight edge, so I bought it, loved it passionately all year, and then they discontinued it (boo!). I remembered the NARS, bought it online, and was extremely disappointed. Not only does it not even come close to stacking up against the Mark Cealer coverage-wise, it is greasy and slides off my face, literally within minutes after I've applied it. I have to reapply it several times before I even leave the house, and then it's almost completely gone within hours. Such a disappointment. Ugh! I've ordered the Becca from Sephora-- hope that comes through for me.
