Lotions/ Creams -Sally Hansen - Nightly foot repair
amay77 5/29/2010 11:30:00 PM
Its summer and I want nice looking feet for my flip flops. I bought a foot scrub (different brand) used it then applied this. It says to wear socks after wards and go to bed. I have to say - my feet are very soft. I give credit to the foot scrub and this cream. It's very nice and I will repurchase!

I picked these up on sale for $1 a box - I bought three (June of 2008). I took 2 boxes on a family group camping trip thinking these would be super easy to use and pack not having to pack soap and washcloths (I have three daughters). These were such a hit with parents that I left the boxes sitting in the shower house (private camp ground) and when I packed to leave both boxes were empty! Not only were parents using them on the kids (we had a lot of kids that weekend) but the guys (who had little to no hair on their head) were using them too and for a shampoo! Everyone raved on how convenient they were. I have an extra box that I throw in the suitcase anytime we travel and will continue to purchase if nothing else to use for travel. Mine came 10 per box, they are dry and all you do is add water. Gives a nice suds but not overly soapy - good enough to wash the body and then throw away. Love them!
Liquid -Almay - Clear Complexion Blemish Healing Makeup

I searched makeupalley for 2 days reading all reviews on foundation for oily acne-prone skin and this is what I decided to try and I'm glad I did. Neutral 220 suits me perfectly, goes on smooth and helps with shine. I'm very happy with my purchase and recommend to others as well.
Pressed Powders -Rimmel - Stay Matte Pressed Powder (ALL)
amay77 8/9/2009 4:31:00 PM
One word - FANTASTIC! I can not believe I've spent the $$ on Chanel and MAC powder when this gem was sitting at Walmart all along and $4 to boot! I just blot this baby on and I'm good. NO breakouts and really helps with my shine as I am very oily. I am impressed and will continue to buy until Rimmel no longer sells it!
Scrubs -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Natural Facial Scrub
amay77 8/5/2009 8:39:00 PM
I love this scrub. I use it along with the mask and I just love what it's done for my complexion. Walgreen's and Sally's have great BOGO deals too - so that's the time to stock up! I love the way this feels, I can see a difference in my skin. No irritation thus far (been a month) and I have never been happier with a product, price and performance. This scrub makes me WANT to wash my face, ya know?! Before I knew I should be washing but nothing worked, so what's the point, didn't feel like it so I wouldn't. Now I want and do wash my face b/c I know and can see it's working. Makes all the difference. Love it, love it, love it!
Where oh where has this been all my life!!?? To think of all the products I've used over the past 10 years and this little angel was sitting on a shelf at Walgreen's for $3.99, I could just kick myself. So, I started breaking out around 24 years old (I know, sucks) and I am one who has tried everything. SA and BP do nothing for me - zip, nada, not a thing so I decided to give sulfur a try and I AM SO GLAD I DID! I've been using this mask for a month - twice a week and I've never seen an improvement like I have with this. I also use another sulfur based product from Walgreen's (name escapes me) and the julep facial scrub and with these products I have beautiful skin and I can see a difference in my oil production! What's even more great is every now and then I will pop into Walgreen's and find this item BOGO - 2 for $3.99 and Sally's Beauty store has the same sale too. I have to many of these stocked up it's crazy - I never want to be without it - EVER!! I also grab the scrub when it's on sale. If SA and BP isn't working, give this a try - cant go wrong with the price! Should be renamed to MIRACLE in a tube!

I can say that I've tried everything for my acne flare ups. I've been breaking out since I was 24 and it only seems to get worse as I age (32 now). SA and BP do nothing for me and I mean nothing. I tried taking vitamins, trying different products, nothing helped. So, I did some reading on sulfur and acne and decided to change my regimen completely since it wasn't working anyway. First was my scrub - bought Queen Helene mint julep scrub - FANTASTIC! Second was my mask - bought Queen Helene mint julep mask which contains sulfur and it too is FANTASTIC plus at Walgreen's they cost $3.99 each and I can pop in and find BOGO sales and get one free. Ok, now my acne "treatment" I found this stuff at Walgreen's and paid $9.99 for it and it too contains sulfur. Why I love this stuff. 1) it works, period. I apply at night before bed, wash my face in the morning and mix some of this with my moisturizer and I love it. Let me tell you too that this stuff will cover redness like nothing you've seen before. I have a bit of redness around my nose that foundation, concealer or powder together wouldn't touch but a tiny bit of this and the redness is gone, awesome! It's worth just that. I can not believe how wonderful my complexion is, finally. I will never use anything else so if SA and BP not working for you? Give this stuff and sulfur a try. I am so happy with this product.
Didn't like this. I took off 3 lippy's for the smell, no color guard and repeated attempts to "get it right". First, I primed my skin beforehand and sprayed right out of the shower. I dont know about anyone else but it didn't "dry" in 5 minutes and I was very sticky. Once the color showed up I noticed places I missed (lack of color guard), so I sprayed a cotton ball and applied again, what a pain. The color is nice and subtle, which is what I wanted but it's not worth the effort and time to apply. I dont recommend using it. I was using a spray tan that I bought on line (not sold in stores) that smells like coconuts! It's pricey at $24 but I get 2 full body sprays but it's a medium dark tan, not a glow or subtle tan at all. I ran out and thought I'd try something that I could grab locally - no such luck.
Tinted Moisturizer -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer - Natural

I tried this color after trying sunkissed and it was too dark. I thought this one would be the perfect shade but I had some issues. First it gave me a grayish color...??? Plus it wouldn't spread well. I didn't have that issue with Sunkissed but overall I didn't care for this at all. My only other option is to try the lightest shade, which I think might be too light. I paid 3.99 at walgreens. Oh well, the are up for swap and I will continue to search.
Tinted Moisturizer -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer--Sunkissed
amay77 5/30/2008 11:16:00 AM
I have been on the hunt for the perfect tinted moisturizer. My favorite is MD Skincare but I saw the high rating for this and thought I'd give it a try. I picked it up at Walgreens for $3.99 and wasn't sure which to get, Natural or Sunkissed, so I went with Sunkissed. Usually a light/med works on me but the color of this looks lighter in the bottle than what you get. So this is a tad too dark for me, I will pick up the natural and see how that works. If I must I can mix the two and for the price it's an awesome deal. I need a heavier tinted moisturizer to cover some blemishes and redness. Others I've tried like cover girl are nice but too sheer for me. I like the cover of this and it feels nice and the price cant be beat. The real test for me will be to see if this breaks me out (like most things do). I will give it a try for awhile to see if I notice breakouts. Overall I say give it a try. I also picked up their highlighter for my cheeks for $4.99 and it's very pretty.
I thought this was nice, except too sheer for me. I need a thicker TM that covers more. The light/medium wasn't the right shade either. I wont repurchase though.
Tinted Moisturizer -MD Skincare by Dr. Dennis Gross - All-In-One Tinted Moisturizer

I got this in swap in light/medium and I love it! It has a nice cover, doesn't cover everything but I have been using it as a foundation. It's light feeling and easy to use. The only thing I dont like is my oilies show through after a few hours (have yet to find a product that controls my oil shine) but overall I like and will continue to use. I just recently bought CG light/medium TM and cant wait to try that too. Oh and NO breakouts from this either. yay!
Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - DuDu Osun African Black Soap
amay77 2/23/2008 4:13:00 PM
This the best soap I've ever used on my face, hands down! I have sensitive acne-prone skin and nothing ever cleared me... this does. I only wash with this at night then slather on pure shea butter and I wake up with soft skin and NO breakouts, it's amazing. In the morning I wash with water, that's all, just water. My skin has never been better and I think it's the combo of this soap and shea butter.

I really like this. I have no stinging like other reviewers. I have sensitive skin and so far this has been just fine.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Wave™ (Power-Cleanser And Deep Clean Foaming Pads)
amay77 2/5/2008 1:12:00 PM
I bought this last night before reading here first. I thought it looked cute and was inexpensive so I grabbed it for $11 with a bonus of 14 extra pads and a coupon. Before I opened it I came here to read first and saw all the positive reviews so I gave it a try last night. I added some of my own cleaner and away I went. Easy to use, not complicated in the least. My skin felt very nice and smooth. I used again this morning and my face is still very smooth. I'll have to wait a few days and update again because if something is going to break me out it takes a few days. I hope that isn't the case with this.
