I sampled this and loved it... but before I paid for a whole bottle, I was determined to read the reviews and be very skeptical - Should I just slather on Coppertone and save my money? Well, I continued to sample it before I decided that it really IS better than Coppertone and I do LOVE IT!! My olfactory-challenged husband can even tell that there's more to it than Coppertone...Jasmine, for one - I'm not sure of the others, but its *more* than suntan oil...takes 20 minutes to 'dry' on me, then smells very summery and pleasant. I'm glad I bought it and would pay full price for it again!!
I love Tweezerman but HATE these Toenail clippers!! You know how nail clipper blade areas are curved? Well, these toenail clippers curve the WRONG WAY!! They say they are "straight edge" but they are NOT straight - they have a curve opposite of regular clippers, so you have to clip, clip, clip and then have all these strange little points left on your nail. So you clip some more...but can never get a smooth curve line unless you file it all down, so why clip in the first place? Pure torture, I say... for the life of me, I have no idea what they were thinking when they designed these!!!
Love this fragrance! Wish I had more time to actually use it, since my shower time is limited...My husband has actually taken to this one, and LOVES it, probably because he already used shampoo to wash his face, so might as well get him a good, legitimate 3in1. Ahhh, enjoy those long showers while you can, gals, before you have kids jumping in with you!!
I love this smell!! It smells like frosting, not so much the cinnamon part...that's perfectly fine! Did a blindfold test with my 4 & 6 year olds, and they guessed it, 'frosting!', and now that's what they use in the shower. Hey, if a $16 bottle of 3in1 helps my kids to take showers and wash their own hair, then its worth every penny!!

After having good results with some other Philosophy products, I was excited to try this - received in swap, opened it and EEWWWW!! My nose, my nose!!! It literally triggered a very bad reaction - I kept thinking of Noxema gone horribly, horribly wrong!! I have tried several times to actually use it and I just can't get it to my face. Some things in life are just not worth it!!
I was really, really excited to get Magic Spell - I was praying they wouldn't be out of it...after driving 50 minutes to the mall, just for this...Alas, I gleefully put it on and the MA takes one look at me (with my rosy complexion) and says "eh, not so much..." Bummer! Looked like I had blown a giant Bubblicious bubble and popped it all over my lips!! Not cool. I went with Dreamy, which definitely works better for me. I think better for someone with a less pinky face.
I can see why they named it Dreamy - its a nice, soft, pink, 'dreamy' lipglass. Not *too* anything, not too glittery, not too mauve, not too pink...just, well, dreamy & soft. I love Nymphette too, but its very gold compared to this. Dreamy is a GREAT basic summery color!! I will definitely repurchase.
Every time I stood in front of the Mac shadow display, Trax always caught my eye - how could it not? Beautiful violet with gold! I've been 'afraid' of shadows because my rushed, heavy hand usually left me looking like a street-walker (not a good look at the PTA meetings :) So after gentle prodding, I ever-so-lightly applied it and that's just the beginning of my now over-filled 15 pan...Its SMASHING!!
OOOOHH, PRECIOUS! I would have never, ever picked this by looking at the pot. I don't do khaki/olive green. But I was touching all the shadows at the Mac counter and this one was suddenly pink! What happened?! I love shadows that DO STUFF, you know what I mean? I tried it on and it looks great on my NW20 pinky skin, green eyes. I pair it with Trax & Prunella & just got Steamy for mermaid eyes. This is one duochrome that gets me excited.
After my 4th little one was born, I expected the typical hormone flux while things readjusted, what I didn't expect was my forehead looking & feeling like an oil-slick!! It brought me back to my junior high years of pulling my cool feathered bangs forward with my Goody pick to cover the hideous breakouts! I was lucky enough to get this through a great swap, and I've been using it for about 4 wks now...I wasn't sure it was doing anything, but I realize now my forehead actually looks better - less breakouts and my forehead creases actually look less noticeable. It does 'mattify' my forehead - just enough to bring it in line with the rest of my face! I don't use it all over at this point; it does have a strange smell, but since its 'up there' my nose doesn't detect it after I put it on. I think the bottle will last me quite a while and I probably will repurchase.
I've always used Cedar for day, and Whirl is more brown but looks nice!! Good pigment, good staying power, nice & nudetone liner. I wear all-over lips under lipglasses for longer lasting color. Its a nice change from pinks/mauves and I would definitely repurchase.
After using Cedar for some time, I was excited to try Dervish - it looked good on the MA's hand (!) and the color is a great match for my lips, but for some reason it doesn't last on me!! I've used it under various lipglasses and lipsticks, but it always seems to fade away very quickly, and I look like I've never put it on. It seems to me like there's not as much 'pigment' in it...anyone else have this problem? It is a beautiful color but I won't repurchase because it doesn't work well for me.
My husband was talking about some guys at work that always smell really "clean"...not that my husband isn't technically clean, he is well groomed, but he didn't wear any cologne (this is the man who uses shampoo to wash his face). So when I brought him home a sample of Happy for Men - he said, "that's it! my clean smell!" It smells fabulous on him - its a nice well-groomed scent for everyday...my nose was VERY sensitive during my pregnancies but I always loved it on him!
I'm so glad Happy smells really nice on me, must be my chemistry! :) I have gotten SO MANY compliments on it from strangers...its a light, clean scent, definitely not overpowering. I'm not sure about the staying power because just when I can't smell it anymore, someone asks me what I'm wearing!!
This is fabulous!! I got this in a sampler kit and the peppermint smell is a nice wake-me-up - then I actually used it and WOW, it exfoliates!! One less thing I have to do in the shower, bye-bye loofah. This is a big deal since with my 4 little ones I am often lucky just to get a shower!! My husband loves it too, uses it on his back, which feels nice and helps with bumps. We're getting lots more of this soap!
