I really wanted to love this color, but I felt like it made my eyes look dirty, not the look I was going for. A better option for me is Estee Lauder's Sepia Sand for a more subtle taupe. I should say that I don't like obvious looking eye products. I'm going to experiment with different brushes and see if I can get this color to work for me. I love the cute little round packaging.;

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Bronzer Brush

I love this brush, use it daily. I don't wear bronzer. I use this brush to buff off any excess loose mineral makeup. I first apply the loose mineral makeup with Coastal Scents Flat Top Synthetic Brush, which is wonderful. Then I use the Ecotools Bronzer Brush to buff the excess and refine the finish. Love this brush so much I bought a few backups. The best low end brush I've ever had.

Lipstick -New York Color - Ultra Last Lipwear in Garnet

Wow! I can't say enough abou this drugstore beauty that costs less than $2! The color is a deep red with shimmer. I like to pair it with Clinique glosss in Bonfire. Really love this gem.

This is the closest I can get to doing a "red lip". Any lip product with the slightest hint of red usually looks like a hot mess on me, but this is perfect. I also pair it with NYC's lipstick in #406 Garnet and they are beautiful together.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational in Tinted Taupe

This is one of the most beautiful lipsticks available at the drugstore. It is a shimmery neutral that isn't too brown or too pink, it's perfection. I think this color would suit many skin tones. I have bought quite a few back ups of this becuase it is my absolute favorite lipstick and has been since it came out about a 1 1/2 years ago with the ColorSensational lipstick line. I have many of the CS lipsticks, but this is the one I most often reach for. I have made a nice dent in this lipstick. And that is saying a lot because I have about 75+ lipsticks, but I reach for this beauty over and over and over.

One of my all time favorite skin care products. I've been using this since I came on the market about 10+years ago. I use this is the morning on a Swispers pad to "cleanse" my face, and then apply make up. I purchase multiples of this because I go through it so quickly.

I love this cream. It has almost a gel like texture, but it is very moisturizing. I use it as a facial moisturizer. My skin is not clog prone, so body moisturizers work on my facial skin with no problem. I found the bonus size tube (25% more for free) at WalMart for about $6.50. It's a huge tube and will last a long time.

Mascara -Almay - Get Up and Grow

I have the waterproof formula. I love this mascara. I love the brush, it seems to grab every lash, even the lashes in the inner corner that seem so difficult for me to coat. It doesn't flake or smudge on me and it doesn't clump. I love the sleek packaging and the size and shape of the brush. I hope they keep making this.

This is one of the prettiest low end blushes I own. My skin is very warm, yellow-orange undertones. This blush is a peachy color on me with a very slight sheen. Absolutely beautiful. I do think it's a bit pricy for the small amount you get. $8.99, but I would still repurchase this.

I'm shocked at the bad reviews for this product. Few people are more critical about hair products that I am and I absolutely love this stuff. A few years ago I gave up on styling products and threw out every styling product I had, which was a lot. My hair is medium length and fine. The top layer of my hair is straight, but the under layer is quite curly. I live in FL so my hair was usually a frizzy mess. I wanted it to be sleek and swingy but I was reluctant to use any straightening products for fear it would weigh my fine hair down. I decied to give this product a try and I'm thrilled. My hair is soft and swingy but not weighed down or sticky in the least.

Wow. I am shocked that there are not more reviews on this lipstick. I know it is a new item to the US market. I beleive it came out in the spring of 2010. I loved it instantly. It is the perfect neutral shimmery lipstick that I have searched and searched for. I have quite a few back ups of this for fear it will disappear from the shelves. EmilyNoel83 also loves this color. I think I gave it a try based on one of her videos. So glad I did.

Lip Gloss -Jordana - InColor Pretty Shine Luxury Gloss in Babe

Wow! I am so amazed and impressed with the inexpensive drugstore lipgloss. I have only seen the Jordana brand sold at Walgreens. I finally decided to try the Babe lipgloss because I love the way it looked in the tube. I didn't expect this to have much color payoff. I was so wrong. This is the neutral pinky-complex brown-neutral-shimmery lip color I have been searching for for ages. I have tried high and low end lipsticks and lipglosses and honestly nothing is as nice at this color. This gloss is very nicely pigmented, the staying power is decent. There is a slight fruity smell, but it doesn't linger and I don't notice any strange taste. I will be trying more of the colors in this range.
