Eyeliner -Avon - SuperShock Eye Liner
rated 2 of 5

The liner goes on smoothly, and the brush that comes with it is fine. The colors are bright and glittery, almost exactly like they are shown in the ads, but do not stay. Even with my Shadow Insurance, the gel liner doesn't stay put for more than a couple hours.

Lip Gloss -Avon - Supershock Liquid Lip Shine SPF 15
rated 3 of 5

This is a pretty good lip gloss. The color is as bright as you would imagine, and has decent staying power. It does smell a bit odd, sort of like plastic, and can get very smudgey and clumpy on your lips, but the biggest problem is the wand. The wand is large, which I love, but it creates a vacuum when you go to pull it out. The suction pulls a hefty deal of product off of the wand, which is fine because you don't need much, but it makes a horrible SPLUUURRRRRPHHH sound and shoots a shot of lip gloss in no specific direction, which may upset your friends and pets. Aside from that one large downfall, which is quite the problem, the gloss itself is really nice.

Mascara -Avon - Supershock MAX Mascara
rated 4 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 9:29:00 PM

I love this mascara, and am on my third tube. Yes, the wand does take a little getting used to, and it is very easy to get too much of the product onto the wand at once and end up with spider lashes, but the formula itself is wonderful. I love the mascara the most when it is starting to run a tad low, and you don't get near as much on the wand at once. It gives a natural and femine look to my lashes. I start at the root, roll the wand, let that half dry, then finish all throughout my lashes. It helps stop the mascara from clumping. The waterproof version is nearly waterproof, much more than other mascaras, that is.

Fragrances -Juicy Couture - couture couture 2009 perfume
rated 4 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 9:24:00 PM

I love this perfume! I bought the smallest size to try it out before I bought the larger, and it proved to be a great deal. The perfume is soft and very unique. I have never smelled another scent that smelled quite like it. It has a very femine feel to it, and doesn't smell fruity or floral at all. More than two squirts or so is way too much, and makes you smell a bit like a department store. Getting to use less product is always a plus. My skin is very sensitive, and I have had no bad reactions to this product.

Moisturizers -Clean & Clear - Morning Glow
rated 4 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 9:16:00 PM

The shimmer hasn't been too much for me, because I use 3 different foundations in a mix to get a nice texture, but I see how the shimmer is too much for someone wearing less foundation. The SPF 15 is wonderful, and I have been using it everyday for nearly a week. It doesn't dry out the already dry patches of my skin, and it doesn't overly moisturize the oily parts. It feels a tad gritty, but nothing major. It's easy to apply and sinks into your skin quickly. It does smell really odd though, almost like a plastic.

Lip Gloss -Avon - Glazewear - ALL SHADES
rated 5 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 9:13:00 PM

I bought the Glazewear Dazzle in Pink Radiance, which I no longer see on their website. I cannot remember is the product was discontinued or if I bought it from the Demo Book and it is just not on the website yet. I'm thinking discontinued. If you can get your hands on this product though, it is wonderful! The gloss isn't overly shiny, but makes your lips look plump and healthy. The gloss isn't exactly goopy, but is the slightest bit thick. The wand is wonderful and has been durable so far, and always gives me the perfect amount of product. The gloss lasts a moderate amount of time, and has lasted me a couple of months so far.

Foundations -Avon - Smooth Minerals Powder Foundation
rated 5 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 9:06:00 PM

My only complaint with this product is that it can be a bit clumpy or overly- shimmery if you use too much. The less of this product you use, the better it looks. It can give your skin a nice glow and the color "soft ivory" suits my skin very well. Easy to apply, and isn't too difficult to blend into the skin, if the color is right for you.

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Root Rescue
rated 1 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 9:02:00 PM

The directions are simple, and the mixing isn't too difficult, but the product itself is absolutely horrible. I used Loreal haircolor in Dark Brown, and loved the color. When my roots started coming in, I decided to buy this instead of a whole new box of color. The application was quick, and I started to see parts of my blonde hair immediately turn. There wasn't enough product in the container, and I barely had enough to cover my very short amount of overgrowth. I waited 15 minutes, when the box says 10, rinsed my hair, and there is absolutely no color anywhere. None of my hair accepted the color and it all rinsed right out with barely warm water. It did stay in one place, and that was my skin. Horrible product.

Deodorants -Unlisted Brand - Mitchum Advanced Control
rated 4 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 8:57:00 PM

This is the only deodorant that has ever worked for me. I picked it up after seeing reviews on this and other sites. I use the pure fresh scent, and it has never been overpowering. The scent is subtle but still lets you feel protected. It didn't stop me from sweating, but it has helped very much, and also helps to keep the smell away. My family and I all sweat very very much, and it was so hard for me to find a product that has worked this well. Aside form clinical strength, because they're far too pricey for me to immediately try, I have tried just about everything, including men's antiperspirants. The gel version of this product didn't work for me at all, and remained wet hours after I had put it on. This product does have one downside; however, the fact that it leaves very bright white marks on the underarms of all of your clothes. For me, this is a tiny price to pay for nice, mostly dry underarms.

Lotions/ Creams -eos - Everyday Hand Lotion
rated 3 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 8:53:00 PM

I love this lotion. It makes my hands very soft, without leaving them greasy. They may not be moisturizing enough for someone in a colder area or with rougher hands, but for me, they work great. I've only had the cucumber one, and the smell is much too strong. The second you squirt even the tiniest bit into your hand, everyone in the room knows you've got something, and like hungry dogs, they'll rush over to see what the unique, tasty smell is. It's almost scary how much it actually smells like cucumbers though. It literally smells like you just went walking through a cucumber garden and touched every last cucumber you saw. All in all, a fine product though.

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Lemon Drop SPF 15
rated 5 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 8:50:00 PM

The lemon was the first of these lip balms that I ever bought. I also bought the pink and mint one. I adore these, and they are my favorite lip balms, followed by the vitaminschtick. They don't feel gooby, and their unique shape makes applying them easier. You don't have to make that goofy :o face anymore. The scent is amazing, if a little overpowering at times. To me, it smells more like a margarita than a lemon, but that's close enough. They make my lips super smooth and protect them well in wind and cold weather. The price is great, as they last so long. My lemon one has lasted me since two holiday seasons ago, and about 3/4ths of the product is still remaining. With their shape, you don't have to worry about accidentally washing them while they're in your pants pocket, 'cause they don't really fit into pockets... Their only downfall is if you drop them on a bus, they will roll away, never to return.

Shave Products -eos - Ultra Moisturizing Shave Cream in Vanilla Bliss
rated 4 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 8:44:00 PM

EOS has quickly become one of my favorite brands! I absolutely adore everything I have bought from the company, especially the shave creams. I love the scent of this one, and it keeps my legs soft and shiny. It helps me get a closer shave so that I have to shave less. However, anytime I've tried to use it in a more sensitive area, it has clogged the pores, making for some very nasty bumps. I find that this product works best if I use a cheap 2 blade or single blade razor, since it does clog up the nicer ones. I figure, it's helping me buy cheaper razors, so that's always great. I do definitely love all of the shave creams, but this scent is my favorite. It has a beautiful scent, but isn't overpowering at all.

Pressed Powders -Physicians Formula - Magic Mosaic Multi-Colored Custom Pressed Powder
rated 4 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 8:36:00 PM

Although I love the product, I probably won't buy it again until it is on sale. Aside from the price, the product is wonderful. There is a handy mirror under the powder, complete with a brush that barely anyone would use, and the packaging is wonderful. The plastic hinge used to lift the powder up did break, however. The powder itself gives a wonderful, natural glow to my pale skin. You can use your brush to decide how dark or light you want the color to be, which is handy in the summer when I get a slight tan. The powder isn't too shimmery and never clumps.

Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Panoxyl 10% Benzoyl Peroxide Bar
rated 1 of 5
alphame 6/10/2012 8:32:00 PM

I started using benzoyl peroxide to contro my acne a few months ago. I started with a 5% and gradually moved up until I had been using 10% for a couple months. When my Clean and Clear cleanser ran out, I tried Panoxyl 10. The product gave me horrible red bumps and rashes all over my face and neck. I also had dry, peeling places. My skin is naturally fairly oily, so this was very odd. I blamed this on my moisturizer since my skin isn't sensitive to the peroxide and continued use of the cleanser. My skin got worse and worse until I stopped using it all together. The red bumps resembled dermatitis and I stopped using anything on my face for 3 days to help them heal. My boyfriend believes my bad reaction was caused by the chemical that is used to keep the cleanser in bar- form, which is why I had never had the reaction before, I have always used gel and foaming cleansers. I switched back to my Clean & Clear 3 in 1 Cleanser, which is 5% benzoyl peroxide and brought back my Clean & Clear Morning Glow moisturizer and my skin is fine. Definitely would not recommend to anyone with combination, dry, or sensitive skin.
