Styling Products -Unlisted Brand - Oyin Handmade Hair Dew

This is hands down the best leave in I have ever used for my tightly coiled hair. The smell alone is enough to make me stock up. It's like maple syrup and sugar cookies! But the moisture?! Off the charts! I use this as a leave in on freshly washed hair. It also moisturizes hair thats a few days old and allows me to restyle. It's a water based moisturizer but the oils in the hair dew also help seal that moisture in. I seriously have no complaints. However I'm able to get it on ground for a few dollars extra.
This is a nice light weight leave in for blow drying my hair. It doesn't weigh my hair down and it seals in moisture. I usually combine it with chi silk infusion to get a soft blow out. The only con is the price. However I tend to be light handed with it so it has lasted a while.
I really like this serum. I apply a small amount to my hair along with my leave-in. Then I airdry my hair about 50-70% before blow drying(reduces heat use).I have tightly curled hair so the main purpose of my blow drying is to get it straighter. It makes my hair feel super soft and I personally like the smell. It's a bit pricey but I was able to find the big size at Marshalls for $15 and I have had it for 2 years. Most likely because I don't use heat too often and a little goes a long way.
I have hair that is type 3c/4ab. It's really thick, dense and around bra strap length. This is my go to conditioner for when I am planning on flat ironing my hair. I am silicone/sulfate free when I wear it in its natural state. Aussie moist has sooo much slip and my hair detangles like a dream. I have the pump bottle because it is much easier to use than the small flip bottle. I also go through a whole lot of conditioner. It says 100 uses on the bottle but it will probably last me 30-40. However for the price it's more than worth it. I think it also helps a lot with having shine and movement on my flat ironed hair. Overall it's a winner!
I got the shade Stockholm and I absolutely love the color. However I hate the consistency and drying effect of this product. Before using it I exfoliated my lips with my fresh sugar lip scrub AND my lush sweet lips scrub. Then I applied rosebud salve and jack black lip balm. Lined my lips and applied the soft matte lip cream. An hour later my lips looked chapped and dry. It somehow dries out the lips and accentuates cracks. I put loads of balm on top and the problem went away. If you want to use it make sure you put tons of lip balm underneath and over it.
Pros: -Great for medium dark or darker skintones (I'm nc44) -Gives a subtle glow without too much glitter -Comes with a mirror Cons: -Is not very pigmented so you need to build it up. This can be a pro or a con depending on if you want more definition. -Pricey
This is the best brush I have ever used for gel eyeliner. I have tried the sonia kashuk and elf angled eyeliner brushes. I have also tried an angled eyebrow brush from ecotools. however, nothing compares. I get the perfect wing every time because the brush is high quality and cut evenly. It only takes me at most 5 minutes to put on my fluidline in the morning thanks to this brush.
Makeup Brushes -MAC - 226 Small Tapered Blending Brush - BBR Collection
alove15 9/3/2011 4:51:00 AM
USES: -Defined blending in the crease. Does not spread color out as much as the 224. -Great for applying highlights on the brow bone and inner corner of the eye because of the tapered shape Overall: This brush is definitely a handy brush to have in ones collection. The scratchy feel usually goes away after the first wash. I have not had any shedding with mine. I bought it with the mac me over collection.
Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Angled Eyeliner brush

I bought this product to use with my mac fluid line. It is very small and the angle occurs at a very short distance from the tip of the brush. This makes it difficult to do a solid line on the lash line. The proximity of the bend also blocks the view of the eye area during application. I would recommend this brush only if you need a very thin line. However, if not I would definitely go with the sonia kashuk angled eyeliner brush instead. It has the perfect angle and the brush is thick enough to create a solid line as well as a precise wing. It definitely makes using gel eyeliner a breeze.
Primer/ Corrector -Korres - Silicone-Free Face Primer

This primer is great for those who want a flawless foundation application without pore clogging silicones. I have tried the smashbox photofinish primer and I had to return it because it felt like a layer of grease on my skin. This korres primer is lightweight and applies like a moisturizer. However, I pat it on the skin instead of rubbing it in like one would a moisturizer.
Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 - Oil Free

I ended up returning this product. Pros: -It has a nice finish Cons: -It feels a bit heavy -It looks horrible in flash photography because of all the spf
I bought this product to wear under my tinted moisturizer. However I ended up returning it. It is too greasy for my liking and honestly does not do very much. It also gives that heavy silicone feel.
This is the first concealer that I ever bought. I am mac nc 44 and I use it in the shade almond. It is definitely heavy duty. It covers everything. However, I dislike the fact that it tends to crease a little in the under eye area because it is so thick. I would recommend it more for blemishes than for under eye use.
This is a great daily lipstick that can pretty much work with almost any look. It gives a subtle rose color that I absolutely love. (mac nc44)
I am an nc44. I think this is a really great nude because it does not look like concealer on my lips like alot of nudes do. It gives me the nude look with a bit of rosy warmth. I like this for a dark smoky eye or an everyday look with a dark crease.
