Cleansers -Biore - Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser

I must be a minority here. I saw a coupon on this for $2 off and I decided to give this a try. I rather like this. It has a pleasant scent and it doesn't seem to aggravate my eczema. It can be slightly drying and one pump seems almost like too much. It removes make up well, however, it does sting the eyes. I do not wear eye make up so I have only accidentally gotten it near my eyes. It doesn't break me out, which is a bonus. I would repurchase again, but it hasn't hit HG status as of yet. There are so many cleansers on the market. I much prefer Dove Beauty Bar. I just wish it didn't cause mild clogging.
Masks -Paula's Choice - skin recovery hydrating treatment mask

I just ordered another one today. I use this as a moisturizer right before I go to bed. It helps control my flakiness caused by my Retin A use. I tried the Skin Recovery Moisturizer, but it smells so bad that I can't stand it. This seems to have no offensive odor for me. I just can't see using anything else when this is full of antioxidants. This clearly does not cause eczema on my eye area. For the price you certainly get more than the normal Skin Recovery Moisturizer. It really feels nice to know that I am applying a great product on my face. HG for me.
Treatments -Paula's Choice - RESIST Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum

This a new addition to my skin care routine. Omg! I love this stuff! I originally chose this Serum because it does not contain Retinol, weird right? I currently use a Retin A cream at night, so I strictly need an antioxidant serum. My night time routine is pretty basic with Paula's Skin Recovery Cleanser, Skin Recovery Toner, & Retin A. My morning routine is a little more extensive. I apply this serum after cleansing & toning; then follow with Paula's Skin Recovery SPF 15. This serum is such a welcome step in my routine! I have dry skin due to Retin A use and this might not work for those with oily skin. This serum keeps me from becoming flakey, which is a downfall to Retin A. It is very important to add antioxidants to your skin after Retin A use as well. I could not be happier with how my skin glows! I have coworkers stop me at work to ask me what I am doing to make my skin glow. It's a nice thing to be asked when your my age. I willingly share my routine with anyone who wants to know. My skin is Sensitive, Dry, Eczema Prone. I am highly reactive to Niacinamide & Chemical Sunscreen. This particular line is safe for me.
Deodorants -Dove - Ultimate Clear Sensitive Skin Deodorant

I love this product! I was using the Original Unscented version and was frustrated with the white balls that form in your pits after a long day. This doesn't do that and it seems as though I don't have to shave as much. I do notice that it is pretty hard to wash off. But I tell you that I will not be purchasing anything else (for now anyways)
Love, Love, Love this! I am forever checking my cabinet to make sure I don't run out! It is inexpensive and readily available at almost every store. My derm recommended the Dove Original Beauty Bar (White) for my Eczema. I use that for my body (I'm sure its great for faces as well), but I chose to use this for facial cleansing! I have tried most liquid cleanser and everytime I get an Eczema flare up! THis bar is so simple, yet effectively removes make up and doesn't make my face feel uncomfortably dry. I just keep it in a travel soap dish and don't close the lid (to allow air to keep the bar dry). This way noone else will use it. I have spent a couple of years suffering from Eczema around my eye area and this has saved my skin! I can't use anything else (except Cetaphil Gentle Cleansing Bar); but Dove is so much more budget friendly. I never thought that a simple bar could do so much!
Overall, not a bad product. In all fairness, I feel that you could probably find cheaper alternatives. Example: Dove Sensitive Beauty Bar....I will admit that this is a pretty large bar of soap and there is absolutely no fragrance and it doesn't seem to dry my face at all. I was told by my Derm that bar soaps are best for those suffering from Eczema and Seborreic Dermatitis. I really went on a splurge when I bought this and I am pretty happy with it so far. My skin seems to be pretty happy and to some degree you really can't go wrong with Clinique Products. I really am pleased with how my complexion looks after switching to this bar cleanser, it really has made a huge difference in Eczema flare ups. Update: I had to return it, although it is a nice bar, I decided not to change my original choice which is Dove Original Beauty Bar. It is much more budget friendly and it doesn't dry my face like this did.
Ok, due to severe Eczema and Seborreic Dermatitis, I decided to go for the skin patch test at the Dermatologist Office. After all was said and done, we had a long discussion about Liquid vs. Bar Cleansers. My dermatologist said for patients with Eczema and Seborreic Dermatitis it is highly recommended that Bar Cleansers are better in terms of the least amount of ingredients. She meant simple Bar Cleansers (Dove) mainly, We all know that Dove has several varieties of Bars on the market. So I asked the question, "Which Dove?" The response was the Classic White Bar. It was also recommended to use the Sensitive Skin Version for my face. Oh Boy! My skin is really happy! I am still peeling, but in a good healing way. I couldn't be happier. BTW< the reason behind not using the Liquid version is due tot he amount of preservatives added to keep Liquid from going bad, hence, eczema flare-ups........
Cleansers -Nuance by Salma Hayek - Chamomile Facial Cream Cleanser

Thanks to the review below and many email correspondence. I took the plunge and purchsed this cleanser. I am currently having the worst eczema flare up. Especially around my eyes. I thought to myself..."This will be the true test!" I hesitantly put a small amount of this cleanser on my hand and immediately smelled a (in my opinion) delicate feminine fragrance. I was so scared (mind you I am having an eczema flare up), I rub it in and it has a balm like texture that easily spreads throughout my face and no burning! It rinsed beautifully and left a light feminine fragrance lingering. I pat my face dry and for the first time my eyelids aren't flakey and I seem to be rather comfortable in my skin. With eczema it is always trial and error. This cleanser is a winner in my opinion. I could never understand why CeraVe Hydrating Cleasner always burned and yet this cleanser with fragrance seems to do the trick? I am really glad I purchased this and will proceed to look into more of this particular skin care line and explore more options. I did purchase the Ogygenating Cleanser as well for pm use (to remove make up) and her AM/PM Anti-Aging Cream as well as her Green Tea Eye Gel. Her products are seemingly made with quality and a nice added touch is the femininity that comes with her products as well.....Good work Salma! Update: I decided not to continue with this cleanser. It is great for those with Normal/ Dry skin. Sensitive skin proceed with caution.
I can't even express enough how much this product has helped! I thought this would be drying to my skin and it is quite the opposite! It balances my skin. I have Eczema and really cannot believe how much this really helps with itchiness. I get eczema around my eyes and it really is quite annoying ( I can no longer wear eye make up). I agree that this stuff doesn't smells like flowers or fruit. It actually smells horrible, however, it does not linger on your skin. I use this in combination with Dickinson's Foaming Facial Cleanser (which I am loving!). I know what Paula Begoun's stance is on Witch Hazel, but it works for me. When you have problematic skin, you gotta go with what works and currently this is it......
Cleansers -Unlisted Brand - Dickinson's Foaming Facial Wash

I did some research and discovered (whether it be true or not); that Witch Hazel can really help Eczema? I thought to myself....Hmm....I guess it's worth a try? I had used the Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel in the past (I remember loving it) it was the one in the Blue Labeled Bottle. I ended up finding this one (same) only it has a Yellow Label. As I grabbed the Pore Perfecting Toner; to my surprise I noticed that Dickinson's launched a Foaming Facial Cleanser and a Cream Cleanser! I quickly grabbed the Foaming Cleanser and went to check out (without a thought). Boy am I glad I did! I have Combination/ Dry Skin and this Cleanser doesn't dry my skin or make it feel uncomfortable! Using this in combination with the Pore Perfecting Toner I realized that my Eczema seems to be under control. Of course, stress causes flare ups for me, but when that occurs....I feel the need to use this combination and it really helps with itchiness and flakes. This cleanser isn't supposed to have a fragrance, it seems to have just a natural light scent to it. It sort of has a twist of Lemon (to my nose). I purchased this at Walgreens and they were running a promotion where Dickinson's will rebate the money you spend on their cleansers. But then again at $6.99, this is still a pretty great budget friendly purchase. There are some folks out there that really rely on Paula Begoun's reviews on with hazel, but when you have problematic skin, you gotta do what works for you. This works for me, at least for now anyways. I did give the packaging quality 3 Lippies only because the top of the pump fell off while I was trying to open the pump. Minor concern as I simply put it back on.......Lol!
I purchased this mainly for my lower legs. Whenever I shave my legs get really itchy. This really helps tremendously. There is no fragrance, which is great for me, as too much fragrance can really irritate me. I use the regular lotion for my face and on occasion the cream. I have to admit that for the price, you really do not get much and this particular lotion even has less than the original. It works and I guess thats what matters, I ask Coria to send coupons in the mail so that helps a lot. They are more than willing to do so. Update: Nevermind, this stuff is entirely too sticky! I wish I could return it.......
Lotions/ Creams -St. Ives - Mineral Therapy Lotion
alohahawaii 8/25/2012 10:07:00 PM
I just bought this last night. I tried it today and I absolutely love this! It has a lovely scent and its not sticky, yet its moisturizing! How can you go wtong with such a large pump bottle for a little over $4? I don't know if you can use this on facial skin, but I would certainly love to try it. I was using Olay Quench, but for some reason that just simply would not absorb and I felt so sticky! I have tried some of the other St. Ives Lotions, but this one tops the ones I have tried so far. I tried the Vitamin E, Collagen, and the Advanced Healing one. Update: I originally liked the scent of this, but after wearing it all day at work I wanted to gag! The Collagen one is the one I reach for the most. Same non sticky consistency and smells lighter and less offensive.
I have to laugh because several years ago, I tried this little known "Gem" and got my entire extended family loving this soap and till today I purchase several orders at a time for all my extended family. To make a long story short....I was never the one using this soap! I have bad eczema around my eye area and I had a pretty bad flare up, when my sister-in-law asked me, "Why don't you try that Natural Soap?" THen it dawned on me! WTH? I literally use this to shampoo my hair as well as my face and entire body! I don't know why I was pushing this product on everyone else but wasn't using it on myself? Especially since I am the very one who needed it the most! I no longer need a body lotion or facial moisturizer. I also have completely stopped having flakey scalp and flakey skin! How much more simpler can it be!
I have been on an experimental roller coaster for a couple of years. I have over the years developed Eczema around my eyes (annoying!) and Seborreic Dermatitis around my brow line and hair line (annoying!) I have tried CeraVe Foaming and CeraVe Hydrating, TriDerma Redness Releif Facial Cleansers. They all started off HG and failed miserably. Something about Niaminacide in skin care really does not sit well with my face (even in a wash off situation) & the TriDerma just simply stung like a Mother F*****er around the most delicate areas (Yes! My Eyes!). I found a bottle of this under my sink and had to break it out of the "Archives" It is been very beneficial and seems to have kept my Eczema at bay. Even better, I can was around my eyes and no stinging! It gets all my make up off without an added make up remover. I have decided to keep it simple and wash with Purpose and moisturize (TriDerma Redness Releif Moisturizer) So Far, I am ok and hope that I can finally stop looking. I have recently begun to use Johnson's Head to Toe Baby Wash for my body Wash and seems to be doing wonders in that department as well. I will keep my fingers crossed.......... Update: Can't use it, eczema flare ups.
I tried it and just can't quite put a finger on it. I really prefer powder foundations and the Neutrogena Mineral Sheers really does wonders for my complexion so, I think I will stick to that. This felt really sticky throughout my entire work day and couldn't wait to come home and wash my face. Perhaps it's because I have dry skin and moisturize like crazy? This just sat there. Even the original Colorstay would sit on my face. I wish I would have saved the receipt cause I would take it back.
