BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream
alliexo 11/6/2012 1:27:00 AM
What can I say about this product that can sum it up entirely? Let's see.. amazing! For a few reasons I absolutely loved this BB cream and I have been so pleased (and surprised). Firstly, I found the colour spread evenly, flawlessly and was generally well rounded. Secondly, it wasn't too thick or too thin and the consistency was perfect (I've used watery BB creams and ones that are thick as paste so this was the perfect medium). Just like the branding suggests it really does "do it all" and meets every one of its eight proclamations. The only thing I didn't love about the product is the packaging. I found it kind of tacky and overdone but then again it is a drugstore product and with the amount of drugstore product competition the flashier the better, I suppose. Anyway, will DEFINITELY buy again.

Polishes -Sinful - Dream On
alliexo 4/14/2010 11:04:00 PM
My friend had bought me this nail polish as a gift. I am so thankful that I didn't spend money on myself because I hated it. From the color (horrifying and juvenile) to the way it dried and the finish it was something I would never buy or wear again. I do not recommend this. If you are going to wear flashy neons (not my style at ALL) do not purchase this. For a fairly expensive polish it is not worth a dime.

Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - LoLLIA - Relax Hand Creme
alliexo 1/31/2010 9:45:00 PM
Okay I'm actually writing this review for the PERFUME RELAX and not the hand creme. A friend of mine had given me the perfume as a gift and I fell in love! It's unfortunate that the brand isn't very popular because the quality, price, packaging and scent of this perfume alike the others so I've heard, is phenomenal. This is my go-to scent and I have been wearing it since the summer. It takes an amazing perfume for me to stick to it ( I have over 40 name brand perfumes..) and this really cut it for me. Absolutely amazing, I am always getting compliments. There is no negative aspect of this beautiful perfume. Stays on long, isn't over powering or synthetic and not floral at all :) Very unique and simply stunning. Key ingredients: (as described on http://www.lollialife.com/product.asp?p=147) Relax, you’ve found your signature scent. Delicately fragrance your skin with Lavender, White Orchid, Tahitian Vanilla, Bee Blossom Honey and Indian Amber.

Primer/ Corrector -Revlon - Beyond Natural Smoothing Primer
alliexo 1/31/2010 9:38:00 PM
I used to use the smashbox photo finish primer until I came across this inexpensive revlon primer. I absolutely loved this product! The scent is a very delicate and mild clean smell. It wasn't too oily or greasy which is a definite plus in primers and left my skin feeling soft and looking flawless. It blends very easily with a brush or even fingers. Worked beautifully underneath my liquid foundation and lasted all day long. I would definitively recommend this product to friends seeing as how I already have and will buy this product again!! Actually, I should buy this product soon because Im running out!

Powder -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation
alliexo 1/31/2010 9:33:00 PM
At first sight this product looks pretty good quality for drugstore make up. On top of the container there is a kabuki style brush attached to the lid which was enough to make me buy it. In all drugstore foundations I am a creamy natural color so I opted to pick this powder in the same color. It was WAY too dark. The brush was of poor quality *what do you really expect* and it left a streaky brown-orange color to my face. The powder doesn't stay on very long even with my smashbox photo finish primer underneath it just didnt want to stick (not that Id want that color on my face but what the heck, it was worth the test anyway). It does have a mild scent, not a bad one, which is considered a plus I suppose but apart from that this isn't a product I'd recommend to a friend and even in the right color, I dont think I'd purchase it again.

Scrubs -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash pink grapefruit foaming scrub
alliexo 1/31/2010 5:00:00 PM
Even though I don't have oily or acne prone skin * no acne or anything at all actually* I still wanted to give this a whirl after smelling it in the store. I have bumpy skin *weird skin condition I was born with* so I figured it may improve the feel of my skin. I was very wrong. Firstly, the soap itself is uncomfortable. I can't really explain it but its too thick and exfoliating beads do not work. Secondly, the smell. It's over powering and smells kind of like vomit *maybe thats just me*. I find that in most products that are meant to smell like pineapple or grapefruit in this case, can often turn out to smell kind of putrid which I really felt this had. Lastly, this stuff made my skin SO dry. About half an hour after my shower my skin felt like it had never been in contact with a moisturizer before. Anyways, I was really dissapointed in this product. Even if you do have acne prone skin I wouldn't bother using this stuff, the smell alone is enough to turn somebody away. I wouldn't buy this product again.

Fragrances -Aquolina - Pink Sugar
alliexo 1/31/2010 4:54:00 PM
I am very open minded to many different scents (except florals, I hate those). Im not the biggest fan of candy and sugary scents but I fell in love with Aqualina's Pink Sugar. It's such a youthful and happy scent, it is the kind of perfume that you spray on and can wear throughout the whole day without it getting sour or annoying. This smell definitely brings me back to the days where finances, relationships and promotions didn't rule over my life. The only problem with this perfume is it's versatility or lack there of. My aunt adored Pink sugar and tried to wear it but it really feels as though it is aimed to a person in their early twenties, maximum. I still love it regardless <3 I would buy this again in a heart beat (especially now that it's on sale for 25$ at Sephora for the full bottle!!)

Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Dr. Pepper lipsmackers
alliexo 1/28/2010 3:48:00 PM
I see all the great reviews on this product and I really wish I could have liked it as much as everybody else. Growing up I probably had EVERY flavor of lip smackers (bubble gum is my favorite!) but this just didn't cut it for me. It felt greasy and uncomfortable, the scent is true to it's word and smells like dr.pepper but is too strong. The taste of it often made me feel a little queezy but on the plus side my boyfriend liked it lol. I hate to say it but I was really disappointed! Back to the old strawberry banana I go!
