Loved the idea of this. It looks so sleek and comes in so many pretty colours! Sadly, it leaked in my makeup pouch and the alcohol in my perfume totally ruined the packaging of a lipstick. It was the first time I noticed that it leaked even though I'd been carrying it around in my bag on and off for about 2 months. Not sure if I'll be bringing it with me anymore now that this has happened...

Got this because it was so cheap. Absolutely hate it. It's scratchy and sheds like crazy. Plus, upon the first watch, the dye ran. Don't bother with this brush.
Very pigmented and smooth. I just use 1 swipe on each cheek and it shows up beautifully. Thankfully, there aren't any silly shimmer/glitter particles in this that will accentuate my large pores. Just plain old good matte. Will probably not have to repurchase since this is going to last me forever. Surprisingly, I haven't had any problems with the packaging even though it is cardboard. I actually quite like the fact that it is really light and snaps shut securely.
Scrubs -The Body Shop - Peppermint Smoothing Pumice Foot Scrub

I appreciate that it lathers well, but it really doesn't do much for my skin. My feet feel the same after use. Such a pity because it smells absolutely divine.
I love this scent. It's so fresh, clean and not overpowering, so it's great for everyday use.
The packaging is so extremely gorgeous. Wish it had a pump though. Very heavy coverage, without feeling too heavy and cakey. Literally does not budge - lasts on my skin for more than 12h and does not transfer at all, which is amazing considering how oily my skin gets and how humid it is here. The only problem is that I think I got the wrong shade so I pretty much can't use this as a foundation. In order to not waste the product, I use it as a concealer on very dark marks/acne. Be careful to use a good makeup remover with this.
Not a fan of this. The smell of it is really off-putting and it doesn't really do much for my lips.
Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo 6 Piece Brush Set

Great starter kit. Very good quality, feels comfortable to hold, does not shed at all, very soft and stays in shape. Best of all, it's so much value-for-money! The case it comes with is really useful since it has brush holders. The only thing that I don't really use is the combined lash comb and eyebrow brush.
Awesome stuff! A friend got this and the tube version from Paris and I prefer the jar because it's multi-purpose. This stuff makes my lips so incredibly soft. I just pat on a little bit onto my lips in the morning and before bed and my lips stay soft all day. I also use a small amount of this on stubbornly dry patches on my body before bed like around my fingertips. It is a little bit sticky on the skin, which is why I use it only at night. But when I wake up in the morning, the dry patches are no longer dry. A little bit really goes a long way so I probably won't have to repurchase!
Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Sugar Plum

This stuff is awesome. Sugar plum is a "my-lips-but-better" kinda shade for me, and it really helps me look more alive and less tired. It is so easy to apply, and the colour is easily buildable. I usually use about 2 swipes of this for the right amount of colour. It's not heavy or sticky at all. It's just like wearing a tinted lip balm :) My only gripe would be the packaging. I don't like how the bottom portion is so thin, which makes it hard to grab on to when I'm trying to open the tube. And I disagree with the reviewers who say the packaging looks classy. I'm not a fan of the quilted-cover cap. But I honestly don't really care about the packaging at all since this product is so amazing. Can't wait to get my hands on the other shades (I've heard that Watsons/John Little has a 20% off promotion on all Revlon products).
I'm on my second tube, and I will probably run back to Za again when I finish this. Concealer is a must-have for me, since I've dealt with nasty acne breakouts in the past which have left a lot of hyperpigmentation on my cheeks. I prefer to apply this using a concealer brush than with my fingers as the brush allows me to be more precise. I love the formulation - it blends extremely easily and staying power is decent. If I apply just the right amount, my marks virtually disappear, but if I apply too much, the area tends to look more pinky-purple, so less is definitely more with this product. I haven't tried this on my under-eye circles yet, so I don't know if it will crease there, but so far, it is doing a great job concealing my post-acne marks. Shade 3 is a pretty good match for my NC35 skin tone, so I can get away with just using concealer (without any foundation or powder over the top) at times when I want to keep makeup to a minimum (eg when exercising). I love the packaging. It comes in a really nice sleek blue-grey squeezy tube.
I'm reviewing this again because my skin has changed. I apply this with a damp sponge using a light blotting motion and I find that it blends in so much better than when I use a brush or a dry sponge. Coverage is medium-ish, but it can look cakey if you apply carelessly (you definitely need to apply this in good lighting). It can make your face look very flat, so I would definitely use blush/contour/highlight. Staying power is quite decent. I do get quite oily about 4 hours in (but I have oily skin and live in a tropical country), but blotting sheets help with that problem. It doesn't feel heavy on my skin, and it hasn't broken me out. I think the price is alright considering how long this has lasted me.
Great eyeliner! It stays on all day and does not smudge AT ALL, even when I rub at my eyes or wash my face with water. It comes off really easily with make-up remover so it's easy to erase any mistakes. Really fine tip so it's easy to do a "natural" sort of eye. By far, one of the best eyeliners I've used.
Lip Treatments -The Body Shop - Lip Care Stick - Cocoa Butter
alleycats3003 12/2/2011 6:15:00 AM
One of the best lip treatments I've tried. The smell can be slightly overpowering and offputting but it disappears after a few minutes. I only have to apply it once in the morning, in the middle of the day and at night before bed. My lips are so soft and smooth. No cracks, no peeling. It leaves a slightly greasy residue that makes lip gloss slide off extra fast, but since I rarely wear lip colour out, it's not a major concern for me. I like how simple the packaging is, and major props to The Body Shop for making this in stick form instead of a messy tube I have to stick my fingers in. I've already gone through 3 sticks of this, and I've just run out of my third one, so I'm waiting for a sale at The Body Shop to repurchase a new stick.
Conditioner -Phyto - Phytojoba - Intense Hydrating Mask

Really disappointed with this product. The only thing I like about it is the smell. Packaging looks cheap for something that cost me > $50. I used this after shampooing and blotting my hair dry. It made my hair feel harder, stiffer and drier. Did absolutely nothing for the frizz and poofiness. Worse still, it made my hair weaker so I have breakage now.
