Milk chocolate with creamy-vanilla when first applied. Yum!! Going incensey and very smokey as it dries (I assume that's the myrrh), with the sandalwood coming through very strongly, almost smells like cedarwood on me. Some hours later this remains very dry, incensey and decidedly woody. This took me back to memories I had totally forgotten. As a small child I used to spend hours with my Father in his workshop. This is all those happy hours amongst the wood-shavings. I love this smell, it makes me feel so happy.
When first applied very sweet floral. Darkens quite rapidly with resiny musk, can still smell a sweet floral, smells like carnation to me, that slight peppery feel. I like this a lot, the sweet floral scent is beautifully enhanced by the myrrh and musk which seems to give more depth and stops it from being too pretty on me.
First reaction sweet, then orange. I am loving this one, sweet, dark and sort of husky. My excuse for keep sniffing my arm is that I am trying to determine what I can smell... nothing to do with the smell being addictive. It has been on quite some time before I can smell the vanilla. I can feel a big bottle coming on.

Almond essence but sort of fruity as well while wet. Dries down to a clean, soft almond, yep Snowcake. Wonderful layered with Bliss as well. Chocolate almonds, yum.
Spiced candy when wet. This reminds me of German Christmas Markets, cinnamon spiced almonds all I need now is mulled wine. The cinnamon is noticeable but honeyed. As this dries it is getting darker and more resinous. This is really growing on me. On my skin the cinnamon is not too loud and is sweetened, presumably by the honeysuckle, and then given more depth with the myrrh. Very nice.
Haunted started off by smelling like icing sugar, then after a while lemon zest with bicarb. Sadly it didn't improve with dry-down and smells quite artificial. As weird as it sounds I could faintly smell dry soot. This is really twisted on me and not pleasant, my skin-chemistry has turned it to lemon polish. :(

Jasmine hit me as soon as I opened the sample but my nose thought it could smell rose too. As it is drying, and with great concentration, I can just catch the carnation, a slightly peppery effect. On second wearing the carnation is very noticeable As it dries this blends on me in such a way as to make separating the individual scents difficult if not impossible. Some time later I am once again getting a very faint curry odour. I have noted that my body-chemistry has done this with several other perfumes. I thought it was sandalwood + neroli/bergamot that was doing this on me, but I'm not sure if sandalwood is in this one. I want new skin-chemistry. This perfume was lovely until it dried completed and my skin messed it up.
The smell of expensive, cocoa-dusted truffles mmmm. Not milky on me, just very dark, pure cocoa. I am amazed this manages to smell so adult, but it does. Years ago I went to visit a dear friend and she was baking. It wasn't until I left that I discovered she had baked me a chocolate cake. It was wonderful. This perfume reminds me of that cake, my friend and that memorable day. This also smells amazing layered with Dana O' Shee, chocolate almonds!!!

From first application right through to dry-down this is lovely. When first applied I smell the plum, but jasmine is very closely inter-twined. As it starts to dry I am thinking of Spring flowers as the daffodil peeks through. This is one clever perfume, so complex. On me once dry the musk just makes itself known, very faint behind the other smells. I really like this very much and can't wait to order a big bottle.
This reminded me of candied nuts when wet and then dried to a lovely, sweet, incensey smell. It has almost a toasted feel to it and I like it very much.
When applied almond, apricot after a while amber and something smokey / musky in there too, nice. Dries down to a lovely, earthy, apricot. I really like this a lot.

First sniff when wet, tea and something sweet... nice. Slight dusty incensey feel to it, but warm and sweet as well. As it is drying I'm catching the ginger. This is extremely nice this is making me think of a sweet shop in a church!! Getting a bit herby now, I think I can smell thyme and maybe a very gentle mint-like smell. Quite similar to Kumiho, but not as crisp. The Apothecary is quieter and slightly sweeter. Lovely smell.
wow!! Gorgeous in the bottle and when first applied. Unusually for me I can immediately detect most of the different scents. Patchouli first, then lemon, then cedar, rose and jasmine. Sandalwood seems to be there as a backdrop as it is drying. This just smells so intense and complex. So far I love it. Getting slightly peppery now, maybe the sherbet lemon effect. Dries out to a spicy lemon, very nice. Once I had been wearing this for some time my body-chemistry changed the smell to a dry spice and sadly didn't smell so nice.
Jasmine hit me as soon as I opened the bottle. On applying the Jasmine is still strong, but now I am very aware that it is cut with lemon, enough to make my nose tingle but smells gloriously like sherbet lemons with Jasmine. This smelt wonderful whilst wet, but then my body-chemistry spoiled it.
Now I'm convinced my nose is weird. First thing I smelt was mint!! On concentrating it seems to be the combination of lime, vanilla and pine. Strong resinous smell whilst wet. As it dries I am smelling the patchouli. Now it is smelling sweeter and I can smell the almond and clove. Very nice, I like this. Beautifully blended smells. An hour or more on and I am totally hooked. This smells gorgeous.
