Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Creamed Almond and Coconut Smoothie soap

This is one of my fave winter time indulging treats! Whenever I feel the need to moisture up a bit, I'll get me a handful of this smoothie and splash it on. It's a very satisfactory feeling, I may say- the first time I tried it I had those ohs and ahs, a very pleasant experience. Perfect winter time soap for those living in a cold and dry climate.
Boooring. Very disappointed in this one. This year (X-mas of '09), it's also smaller than before- only half the size. This, I fear will lead to a completely pointless bath.
I love the smell of this one! Bananas and cocoa butter. I would use it a whole lot more often if it didn't sink in so slowly. And, unfortunately, like many other Lush creams, it leaves a weird wax-like residue.
This is the one Lush conditioner that I use more frequently. Although my hair is fine and rather flat, this is the one that suits me the best, since I find that many of the Lush conditioners aren't very conditioning at all. And my hair is down to my butt, so I need the extra care. The scent seems to be a diffcult matter. Many people don't like it. Most are fine with the coconut (and so am I), but there's a weird, undefinable smell besides it, that I can't point my finger at. Hated by many, I still love it. I'm a coconut girl, and an extra splash of odd isn't to any disadvantage. If you need a lot of care for your hair, I wouldn't go with this one. But if you have dry hair, or need to maintain a long hair, this one is fine, with the extra treatment from time to time.
This white little thing is yet another one of those Lush bath bombs that are too small for an average bath tub. I think it's sad that Lush chose to do so many of this year's X-mas special bombs this size. When trying out a new one, I wan't the full experience, this way it's only "meh". The apple scent is nice and fresh, but doesn't scream Christmas. Thi bomb is also said to create a snowy froth. It does. For about 2 seconds, then it's gone. Was thinking of buying two more and throw in at the same time, to see if it was nicer that way, but I'll just skip it, it's too darn expensive for one bath.
I'm very torn about this product. I love the scent, as I was laying in my bath I started dreaming about various ideas for X-mas-y desserts I would like to try making this year. It's just like that, sweet smelling, but not like the average boring candy-like scents. It smells like pudding and egg-nog and raisins, almonds... On the other hand, this ballistic is very small. It's one of those that are only half the size of the regular ones. I wish it was bigger. Next time I'll try just throwing in two of them- but that makes this bath bomb a very expensive one. Ohh, and it makes a popping sound. O.o This is a bit weird, and didn't really do anything for me. Maybe they we're going with the image of having that egg-nog and raisins in front of the fireplace, but seriously... Not in the bath tub. Oh well, I like it a lot anyway!
A very nice bubble bar from X-mas '08. I loved it. It was the perfect blend for me, with spices and berries. And I'm one of those who generally enjoy all the bits and pieces you're gonna find in some Lush bath products. They're fun to play with as I'm lying there, trying to relax. Sad to see it wasn't in the range this year, but maybe it will be back another year if we're lucky!
I LOVE this soap! It's my favourite among the solid soaps from Lush! And it's my no. 1 scrubber. It's super for scrubbing the entire body! I find that kaolin is one of the best ingredients ever, for bumpy and coarse acne skin. Using Spice Curls on my back and hips, took away a lot of my acne. The smell is to die for, and is exactly like a Yogi tea blend with the cinnamon and ginger. These spices are also unbeatable for starting blood circulation. I'm so sad it has been discontinued, and that the Lush people didn't even give it a year before they removed it. I will continue to weep until they bring it back!
I'm not a fan, however, if you do look for a salty scrub with a "fresh" scent to it, this is the way to go. I will not buy this one again, but I didn't throw it out either. I much prefer the scrubs with little bits in, instead of salt.
I find all Lush shampoo bars completely hazardous to my scalp! I've tried three of them, and not even the ones suitable for sensitive scalps were gentle enough. You might just as well use Fairy liquid. Jumping Juniper was the worst of those I tried. It made my scalp very itchy, almost causing wounds, and left my hair all dry. And yes, I DO have oily roots...

Too small. And too boring.
I find all Lush shampoo bars completely hazardous to my scalp! I've tried three of them, and not even the ones suitable for sensitive scalps were gentle enough. You might just as well use Fairy liquid. The Soak'n'float bar is supposed to be good for dandruff and itchy scalps. It's not. I think it may work of you have a problem with microbes, but if you're just sensitive or dry itchy, then look somewhere else. Lush shampoos are not made for those of us with sensitive scalps or for those of us who care about our longer hair, but if you must, choose (wisely) one of the liquid shampoos instead.
Great for your skin, not so great if you're looking for fun. Pleasant and nice, but not outrageous in any way.
Completely useless. I'm not a fan of the vanilla hype going on in the Lush factory recently, but this soap actually doesn't smell of any vanilla. At all. Though, it's said to also contain coffee, which I happen to be a ig fan of, but... There's no coffe smell present either. It just doesn't smell very much at all. The color is hideous. When lathering, the little drops flying off your hands and down the washbowl look like pee. A gross yellow-brown-greyish tone. OK, it's not one of those super drying soaps that Lush do have, but it's just no fun. I threw mine away. quite a good chunk of it. It bored the hell out of me.
I like YYY, but I don't love it. Three things keep me from it. 1. It's runny. I've tried three different batches, and it's always runny. When using, you'd better just pour it out directly on your body, 'cause if you try to use your hands, it will just escape. 2. It's slightly drying. With that milky look and the almond oil, you think it should do good. But it doesn't. I'm not the overly-dry type, but it dries. Other people I've spoken to says the same thing. 3. It's sweet. Yeah, sure, it's supposed to be, but since I'm not a lover of sweet scents, I'd rather go with a better product whenever I'm in the scarce mood of a yummy shower.
