I never thought I could carry off a orange/coral nail polish with my very fair skin till I tried Orange Fizz and I love it! It is highly pigmented one coat covers well and two coats = perfection. Gorgeous on toes for summer!

This has only just been released and I've used it twice now and it does a great job of removing hard skin off my heels. The exfoliating pumice particles are a nice size and not too scratchy and the scent is divine, rosemary and peppermint. It leaves my feet feeling soft and clean and when used with the foot repair my feet feel really pampered and smooth. Lovely products.

This is the nicest foot cream I have ever used. It smells wonderful, peppermint and rosemary. It's a luxurious feeling cream which is rich but not greasy and leaves my feet feeling soft and truely pampered. Used with the foot scrub my feet are looking the best they ever have!

Polishes -OPI - Princesses Rule

I really wanted to like this as i loved Hollywood blonde (a beige version) however after 3 coats I could still my nail tips through the polish and the pink really didn't work with my skintone (neutral/cool PPP). I had it on for just a couple of hours before i just had to remove it which was a PITA! The application was fantastic, really smooth brilliant OPI quality. If it works with your skintone it would look fab, but unfortunatly not for me.

I love this colour, like the other reviewers said it looks so elegant. Lovely application as always and for a polish thats quite metallic I had no problem with brushstrokes. If you're thinking about this colour and have seen pics ( I searched before i bought) I would say the pictures don't do it justice, take note of these great reviews below instead.

I live in the UK and don't like the european version of this so bought this from a great ebay seller (it wasn't ridiculously priced!). I love the shimmer in it, it makes it a really wearable and chic black, i find the creme version too harsh with my fair skin. It applied smoothly and evenly and has such dense pigment just one coat looked great. I would defintly repurchase again if I ran out.

Lips -Korres - plum lip butter

This is a another lovely lip butter from korres. The colour is very berry if you're looking for darker or more red go for the wild rose (which is my fave!) Although I do like it I think I prefer the quince for a pink lip look over this, I will probably use this more in the Autumn and quince in the summer. Smells lovely and the consistency is great, i also find these lip butters to be very moisturising too.

I think this is my favourite of these lip balms even though I would recommend the others too. But the deep rose stain looks awesome with my PPP skin, it gives me that english rose look which I love. The balm is moisturising, a doddle to apply and is just £6, at this price I also tried the pomegranate, quince and plum!

Moisturizers -Liz Earle - Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser - Normal-Combination
rated 5 of 5

I bought this after running out of the light version, I got this because winter was arriving and thought I may benefit from the extra moisturisation. It's just as lovely as the light version, with the same great scent it's just a little thicker in consitency. You don't need much to do your face and neck so it lasts a long time. I use it both morning and night alongside the cleanse and polish and instant boost skin tonic. Fabulous products that have made a huge difference in the appearance and health of my skin.

Treatments -Burt's Bees - Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream
rated 5 of 5
alisonmidd 2/15/2009 2:15:00 PM

I love this! it was recommended to me by the lovely girls on the nail board as a cuticle treatment I could carry around in my handbag (usually use solar oil but has a tendency to leak). It moisturises my cuticles brilliantly and is even easier to apply than solar oil, plus it has an amazing sherbet lemon scent. I think this has replaced solar oil as my HG cuticle treatment. PS. This is my 100th review!!

I am really impressed with this lip balm, it's very moisturising for a tinted balm, it smell fruity and the colour is a really sweet deep pink which really suits my PPP skintone. Looks great at the weekend for a casual look but I also wore it last night to go for a valentines meal and it was really pretty then too. And at £6 a pot I will be trying the other colours too!

Polishes -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Nail Lacquer
rated 3 of 5
alisonmidd 2/11/2009 3:45:00 PM

I have tried a few colours of these and each one has been a pain to apply, they are the streakiest polishes I have ever used, particularly their paler colours. You can buy better for much cheaper. I gave them 3 lippies as there are a couple of nice colours like black wine and plum cassis but thats it!

Treatments -Essie - apricot cuticle oil
rated 5 of 5
alisonmidd 2/8/2009 5:51:00 AM

I Like this cuticle oil, it's very moisturising and has made my cuticles look great, it has a slightly thicker cosistency than CND solar oil and I think that because of this it's more moisturising too. The scent is fresh and citrussy which I like, it makes it a pleasure to use. The only thing I don't understand, like a previous reviewer also stated, is why it needs a colour. Completely unneccessary in my opinion.
