Pressed Powders -Clinique - Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder

This powder is too "hard" for my taste, almost too compact. It gives the skin an OK finish, nothing special. I can't say the matte effect lasts very long so it's not ideal for oily skin. I actually haven't got much to say about it, it's pretty average and not worth the money in my opinion (and I'm usually a Clinique-fan).

Pros: - Wide colour range - Buildable coverage - Soft and natural result Cons: - Tedious to apply, it takes quite a long time if you want some coverage. Also, it flies powder in the air so you don't really want to inhale during, haha - Itches when it's hot, a really unpleasant feeling - Doesn't really stay matte during the day - Hard to work with a concealer Overall it's an OK foundation, probably best suited for normal skin without any dry or shiny areas.

Mascara -Clinique - Lash Power

I truly love this mascara! It's not particulary lengthening or volumizing, but it covers and seperates the lashes perfectly and makes my eyes look clear and really pretty. I find it easy to apply with the small brush and it's suitable both for a natural look and a more defined one. It's long lasting and doesn't flake at all, but still it's easy to wash off with just hot water and your fingertips. The only cons I can come up with is that it's quite pricey and the lashes doesn't stay curled the whole day.

I was really excited to try this 'cause I had read so many great reviews about it, but unfortunately it turned out to be a bit of a disappointment. I thought it would be like "WOW my skin doesn't look shiny at all", but that wasn't quite the effect. Sure, it does make the skin more matte when you've just put it on (the skin feels a bit firmer and smoother) and maybe the makeup stays nice a bit longer, but it's in no way revolutionary and I'm not even sure that it really does make a difference or if it's just me wanting it to work. However, I think it does do something, it's just not the amazing product I imagined it to be. I'll keep using it (maybe try using it as a mask during the night or so, as I saw someone recommending) but I'm not sure I'll buy another bottle when I've finished this one. With that said, I would recommend people to try it. It obviously has been great for other people and you haven't got anything to lose since it's so cheap!

Concealers -MAC - Studio Finish Concealer

This is definitely my favourite concealer so far! I use it around my eyes and to cover up blemishes and I have to say that it does a great job. It goes well by itself and with my foundation. I've had mine for a year now and there is still at least a third left of the product so it's well worth the money. The only concern I have is that it can become a bit smudgy after a few hours. But with that said, my skin always gets smudgy during the day (with or without make up).

Liquid -Maybelline - Fit Me Foundation

Horrible foundation for anything but a normal skintype, I'd say. I have mixed skin and the result didn't even look good when my makeup was newly done. I used a foundation brush and had to smooth it out with my fingers since brush strokes were clearly visable. The result isn't matte at all, it actually looks kind of greasy and my powder didn't stay put upon it for more than an hour. Coverage was OK but no more than that, you'll need concealer if you have any redness or blemishes. Also I found it hard to find a colour that suited me and even though I chose the lightest one it turned out to be too dark for me. I'm pale but not deathly pale. So no, I wouldn't recommend this foundation. I can imagine it being ok/good for someone with perfectly normal skin (no blemishes, no dry areas etc), but I doubt it would look really good on anyone.
