Wow! I don't know about the lower reviews, but on my color treated, highlighted wavy and thick hair, this stuff is the all that and more. Hard to believe it is so dirt cheap, tried the others from this Dove line, and I'm happy. Love it better than Pureology, Matrix and Aveda. I'd give it a try, for the $ you can't go wrong. I just bought 4 products on sale at Walgreens, and received a $5.00 cash reward for another day. All four products were less than my one fav Aveda.
I can't believe it but I will continue to buy this again and again. Pricey, over the top at $28. but I love it. I wear contacts for about 15 hours a day and this doesn't bother my eyes, never smudges and is a breeze to remove with regular cleanser. It's a nice dark black. I hate the fat brushed that are coming out now in all lines and this small, regular size brush does the trick. Awesome!

Beautiful, sophisticated, lovely scent. Like their previous scents, the bottle is a work of art. The first fragrance was crisper, the second softer, this one is in the middle. Very, very nice, I love the first two and this one is also gorgeous.
I'm not a huge fan of BE but my sister swears by it. I have normal to oily skin and have used Light in the original which is perfect match for my skin. I tested for 2 days using the sample and am shocked by how great this stuff is. No shine, no tin man face. Matte, smooth flawless skin, all day long. No need to blot with my fav Clean & Clear sheets. I used sunscreen, then their primer Prime Time (regular formula) and then this! Extremely impressed. I would like to sample Medium Beige too now that it is summer. The coverage is lighter than the original on me, and I like it better. I will buy full size when it comes out.
Great tube. Very tricky shades. The MUA said, yes NC 30 in Studio Fix is the same in this products, wrong! I should have known but was in a hurry. The NC 30 in this product is way to golden/mustardy and too dark. I wore it anyway, thinking it may work for summer but the wrong color did little to endear me to the formula. Too much shine appeared on my combination skin - and little lines appeared that I wasn't even aware of. Overall, yuk! Perhaps if you are in the right shade, of course, this may work better. Would not recommend for combination skin. Very disappointed. I am BB Beige, GA 5.5, NC 30 in Studio Fix. Cannot wait to return!
I received a small sample of shade # 5.5 while at Nordstroms. I tried it, not expecting much and thinking it would be too dark, and too rich for my combination skin. This is one the BEST foundation I have ever used. Pros: medium/light coverage that lets skin show. Makes my skin look like me, but better. You really don't need much either, a little goes a long way. It wears well, even when my skin is acting oilier. Cons: Ridiculous Price; absolutely the most money I've ever shelled out for foundation. However, the quality is outstanding, and the price, while high, is worth it. I'm medium light, NC 30 in MAC and 5.5 is beautiful on me.

I was so excited to try this product. It seemed that poreless, flawless skin would be within my grasp. Well, it's a lot of fun to use and really made my skin feel SO soft and clean. However, there is NO way that this is worth the $, especially when you must buy replacement heads at least 3 times a year. I'm glad I tried it, but was even happier to return it, and save myself the cash. My skin is light/medium white skin that is really oily with some bigger pores. Overall, I wish my pores were smaller and less oily. On the LEslie Baumann scale, I am an OR P/N (tie) and T/W (tie)/

Beautiful sheer color that really lasted, a miracle on my thin, dry, peeling nails. Ive tried them all and am very happy with this one. Can't beat the price.
As a subscriber to her CCU since it began, I was thrilled to know there would be a searchable database made available to subscribers. I’ve been a fan of Paula’s since I saw her on a local morning show in Detroit, in the mid 1980’s. At that time, she offered a fresh, unique perspective on skin care and cosmetics. Some have complained she has lost her objectivity in reviewing products when she began selling her own line. Personally, I’m thrilled with many of her skin care and cosmetic products; they offer reasonable alternatives for many products. Paula works hard to create products that her customers desire. I’ve seen products come and go; packaging improved, updated customer service and speedier shipping. I admire her business savvy and sincere dedication to educating consumers on skin and makeup options. However, the debut of beautypedia.com leaves much to be desired at the present time. Borrowing the newest edition of “Don’t Go…” from your local library seems like a better option. I’m hoping in time, more products will be added along with discussion groups and member boards, but until then, I wouldn’t rush to purchase a subscription. Would you buy this product again? We'll have to wait and see, it depends on upcoming improvements.
Fantastic mascara that lasts all day on my oily eyelids: thru work, walking, yoga, etc. No smudges, even on my bottom lashes which is rare for me. Took some time to get used to the fat applicator brush. This is an EXCELLENT mascara. I wear contact lenses 12+ hours a day and find it to be gentle and easy to remove. Way to go Cover Girl!

I love this color but use so little I may never have to buy again. It looks great on hazel/brown eyes. I'm 45 and see no crepiness with this product, in fact, it really brightens my eyes. It's not frosty, but shimmery. I didn't think I could wear this shimmer but I love it. I get the best results by patting on with my finger (even though I have the brush). Lasts forever, even through yoga, kickboxing, etc.
