I never get cystic acne (aside from one every 3 months or so on my jaw line) and this broke me out in less then 24 hours with cystic acne. BOOOOOOOO!

Loose Powders -Bare Escentuals - Mineral Veil

This was my HG face powder. I used it once or twice a week at most, because i only wear makeup once or twice a week. As a new years resolution, i decided to make more of an effort on my looks /self confidence, and i started wearing makeup (not full on makeup) almost every day. This means, a blush/bronzer on my cheeks, face powder, eye shadow and mascara. My skin started to get rashy looking, starting right in between my eyebrows one morning, the next morning spreading out over my forehead, the 3rd day, it was all over my forehead and temples and finally it spread to my entire face! I hadn't had a breakout this bad since MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!! I didn't even believe it was acne because of how bad it was, and i switched the pillows i was using and tried to cover up the mess that was my face using B.E. coverup and mineral veil. When i joined MUA, i read through the reviews of makeup i generally used, and saw a comment for MV saying that it contained corn starch and could cause you to breakout. Oh my god.... Fast forward 3 weeks later, i stopped breaking out, the pimples subsided everywhere but my forehead, and i have these tiny skin colored bumps that are slowly turning into white heads that i am able to pop and quickly disappears after, but how long will it take for them to all be gone? This RUINED my face. I thought i was doing something positive by looking pretty, but it backfired in a bad way. I am still trying though!

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Hemp Hand Protector

I have bought this 3 times, (once for a friend) and i really like this. It is a little heavy to wear during the day, i feel like i'd leave greasy finger prints everywhere, but i love this as a night hand lotion. I had a job with food, and i was constantly washing dishes which meant almost non-stop accidental hand washing, just from touching the water, and my skin was so tight, and red bumps would come up just from my skin being irritated, and this stuff really helped. Back then, i put a medium layer over my entire hands right before bed, and just left my hands hanging off the side of the bed so it would really soak in without losing any. As for the smell, i personally like it. It smells earthy, but still clean, and not like weed, haha. I would buy this again, but i wish it was cheaper. (thank god for almost constant sales at TBS)

Toners -Sephora - FACE Refreshing Toner -Normal Skin

I keep this at my boyfriends house and only use it once a week, so i don't know about it improving my skin quality, but besides that, it's awful!!! I can smell the stinky perfume on my face in the morning, and it leaves my skin sticky! It did do a good job removing dirt, but i had to go through two pads to pick it up, but maybe that's from me working at a coffee shop all day. All in all, i wouldn't buy this again. I got it in place of the tea tree wipes from the body shop, which my boyfriend hated because of the smell. I guess i am still in search of the perfect product that is cheap enough to leave at a house besides your own.

Shampoo -Organix - Coconut Milk Shampoo

I said i would buy this product again, because i won't not, but i probably won't, and i definitely wouldn't recommend this for most people. Pretty much, when i first used this stuff, it was pretty much instantly drying. Then... i used long term relationship from herbal essence, which RUINED my scalp and made my hair so weighed down and itchy. I went back to this shampoo which wasn't completely gone, and it saved me (with one round of head & shoulders). This shampoo is definitely drying, and my scalp is pretty oily, so this helps, but it doesn't make any improvement. I would rather pay more for a professional shampoo that actually improves my hair then use a product that just makes it pretty good. Smell is amazing, the matching conditioner is a FAIL!

Conditioner -Organix - Nourishing Coconut Milk Conditioner

I was so excited to use this product line after buying the coconut split end mender, i thought i had found my dream shampoo/conditioner. I should have known after i used the shampoo and had immediate drying that i was about to my greatly disappointed. I have really long hair and my ends get dry and poky sometimes, and conditioner is a must... i swear i put 4 times the amount of this conditioner to get the same effects from other, less expensive conditioners. The packaging is normal for this line, but this conditioner will not come out of the bottle! I had to pound it against my hand to get it out, and of course the round top makes it impossible to just keep upside down. Boo, i'm sad!

Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship

I my scalp has been acting up... super itchy and build up of what i thought was dead skin caused my my itching. Why did i blame myself for this?? After reading the reviews for this shampoo, I REALIZED WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING!!! My hair use to always look good when i straightened it, but near my roots, it was all wrong. When i air dried it, it looked like shit, and my hair rarely looks like shit for no reason just straight out of the shower. Ugh, i am gonna put this away and bring it out for visitors or emergencies.

Blush -Bare Escentuals - Warmth All Over Face Color

I didn't realize this was an all over face powder, because i have been using it only on my apples and sometimes temples. I feel like this color always gives my face a put-together look even if i am a complete mess in other aspects. On a regular day, all i need is this, a light powder and mascara. One thing i don't like is this, like other powders, comes from the bottom to the top of the container (which is separated by a little salt shaker type thing) and you barely need to apply any and sometimes it's hard to get such a small amount on the brush when there is a thick layer of powder all over the inside.
