Let me begin by saying that this is a palette for those who enjoy nighttime/dramatic eye looks!! The packaging is cute, but I care about the product. The palette comes with 16 eyeshadows (equivalent in grams to about half of a MAC eyeshadow each) two small eyeliners, and a mini Primer Potion. The pigmentation of the shadows is fantastic. Kush, Radium, Haight, and Psychedelic Sister are my favorite shadows in the palette. While given a few neutrals to work with, there isn't a matte blending or highlighting shade. This palette is full of shimmer and glitter, but for colorful looks, the Book of Shades III cannot be beat!
Regardless of color choice, the NYX creme blushes are a phenomenal buy for the money! Those who have dry skin will love these. Highly pigmented and easily blend able. Rose Petal is a mauve-pink that compliments my skin tone.
Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Travel Essentials set

I love these brushes! I was surprised to find them at my local ULTA and wanted to give them a go. This is a nice beginning set; one is able to get a good feel for the brushes without spending a fortune. Great for beginners or those just looking for an affordable set of brushes.
The Urban Decay Palette is a wonderful investment for those who enjoy playing with eyeshadows. A cult favorite of gurus, this palette lives up to its reputation. This palette has a good variety of finishes on the eyeshadows (matte, glittery, satin, etc.). Virgin and sin are lighter colors perfect for beginners. I use this palette often when I travel. In addition, the palettes come with a baby primer potion and a double-sided eyeliner or eyeshadow brush.
My go-to concealer I have used consistently for over a year now! Despite other reviews, this concealer covers my dark circles well. It is a heavier coverage concealer and does a wonderful job at hiding acne/acne scars. Definitely buying when I run out!
Wonderful highlight color. The pigmentation is fantastic. Not too much shimmer, but enough to brighten the eyes. Would recommend and would buy again!
Hair Color -Unlisted Brand - Sun-In - Highlighting Spray

I would not suggest this. My hair was dirty blonde and it turned it an ugly orangy-blonde. Better off with hair color.
I love this eyeshadow! Great pigmentation, and with a good eyebase - never creases. I wear this eyeshadow, a little blush and lipstick during the summer and that's all I need. Works well on warmer skin tones (wouldn't recommend for anyone super pale.)
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - ExpertWear 8 Shadow Pan - Pacific Treasures

Horrible pigmentation. Creases easily. Wouldn't recommend.
Lip Gloss -Smashbox - Lip Enhancing Gloss - ILLUME
alexa1995 10/12/2009 8:11:00 PM
This is my go-to gloss! It's nude with a bit of shimmer than can be paired with a lipstick, lip-stain, or alone. It's not too sticky and lasts for hours. I would definitely recommend this product - if not this color but another to anyone.
Primer/ Corrector -Clinique - Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector

This product virtually makes pores disappear! I gave this a "4" because I don't like the formula's finish very much.
Liquid -Neutrogena - Skin Clearing Oil-Free Makeup
alexa1995 10/12/2009 7:43:00 PM
I was looking for a new liquid foundation at Target. I went to the Neutrogena aisle (they always have nice skin products.) Anyway, my skin is somewhat dry but I also have acne. This product is very sheer and dries out my skin. The color matched nicely however and it lasted all day. Will not rebuy. EDIT: I recently picked up this foundation in a different shade and really like it! While the color is sheer, it is definitely build-able. The colors are nice. I actually think this foundation is better suited toward those with dry skin as it leaves a very dewy finish. Definitely have changed my opinion about the product!
This blush (which also works as a bronzer) is fantastic. I'm young and still experimenting with makeup so my application isn't quite perfect. However I always get a great look with this blush. It provides the right amount of color without looking overdone. I recommend using a big Kabuki brush for optimal results
Amazing formula and texture with just the right amount of color. Will continue to rebuy.
Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Maybelline XL Lip Plumper
alexa1995 10/12/2009 12:26:00 PM
This is by far my favorite drugstore lipgloss. It plumps lips very well (although it can leave a burning sensation). The reason I gave this product a "4" is because it does not last long at all.
