I started using premium skin care in my late teens working in a department store I started using Dior and Lancome skin care. I have used many different brands and decided to go ahead and buy my first Givenchy skin care product, Skin drink serum. I know a little about Givenchy skin care, it was launched in 1989 so is 19 years younger than Dior (from the same LVMH umbrella), it does NOT advertise there skin care line, and they have Givenchy Skin spas in prestigious locations including Dubai. I bought Skin drink serum after buying and using Dior Hydraction serum. Givenchy claims this serum will keep your skin hydrated for 24 hours after which the product remains 33% effective. Its main active ingredient is hyaluronic acid which is a big buzz word within cosmetics at the moment. As I am nearly turning 20 fine lines on my face are not a major concern. Hydration is. This product when released from the pump is like water and does feel like a drink for your skin. Three pumps should be used once a day so this product at 30ml a bottle will not last a large amount of time. To be honest I dont really have dehydrated skin it only really feels tight after a night out so in this respect this is when I would use this product the most. The smell is wonderful and with a price point currently sitting at £35 it is a cheaper alternative to Dior Hydraction or Guerlains super aqua serum. I like this product and liv tyler is suppose to be a fan of the whole Givenchy skin care line. I hope after this review more people review Givenchy skincare because it seems to be chanel/dior that has the most reviews. This product does not cause me to have a breakout something I occur from quite alot, the only thing I dont understand is why alcohol is so high in both this serum and diors???.

Fragrance -Lancome - Hypnose Homme
rated 5 of 5

Hi all, as a fragrance lover, I had to smell Lancomes new mens fragrance Hypnose Homme. I remembered all the young woman I had spoken to claiming how nice this perfume was, so curiousity lead me to the Lancome counter in a department store. Generally speaking, I love Lancome as a brand and have used many of their mosturizers and skin care in the past, however my thoughts of the brand where tarnished when speaking to numerous people and reports online that Loreal actually make alot of the skincare products. This saddened me because I had grown to respect Lancome and everything surrounding this brand that has been with us for over 75 years. Anyway one thing Loreal cant claim to make is their fragrance. I recieved a tester from one of the consultants and wore it one day, I could not believe how amazing it smelt, and like all fragrance its hard to describe. Personally l usually like fresh woody and oriental fragrance, my other favourites include issey Mikake, Dior Homme and Armani code. I would certainly rate this within my top ten favourites. The packaging also is so unusual and chic that im sure people would just want the bottle by its self!!. Lancome homme is fresh and certainly modern and I would strongly recommend for age groups 16 - 40. This is certainly the jewel in Lancomes crown and I will certainly buy the shower gel and balm as this enhances the beautiful smell that is Lancome Hypnose Homme.

Cleansers -Lancome - Mousse Confort- Foaming Cream Cleanser
rated 4 of 5

I started using Lancome products back in September when I started a treatment called Zinyert a chemical solution to treat my teenage acne. I have since gone through two Lancome products, the Nutrix Royal cream which was my skin saviour during the winter and healed my face nicely. I then started using the hydrazen cream which give me a wonderful clear complexion. I then decided that I should buy a Lancome cleanser. I first of all bought the Gel Clarte, and after a few days of usage, my face broke out in spots and was very red. I then went to a Lancome counter where I received an package to place my cleanser in and sent it to Lancome head office in London. Only surprise I heard back from them the next day and within a week I received the mousse confort. I have now used this for four days and my skin and fantastic once again. It remains soft all day long and the mousse consistency is really nice. My chin (where all my spots tend to be) seems to have healed up, with no redness and less blemishes. I think after using this product I will stick to using 100% no alcohol cleansers as this must have an impact in my skin. I also believe that the problem with the Lancome Clarte range is perhaps the pineapple and papaya extracts which did not seem to help my skin at all. I am also on Lancomes Aqua fusion gel cream which has really beautified my skin as it does contain radiance boosting ingredients. I would also recommend Dior's rinse off cleansing balm which is a very nice delicate cleanser which is beautifully fragranced. I would definitely recommend Lancomes Mousse Confort even if your skin isn’t dry, it is fantastic for Sensitive skin, and as I feel is suitable for both men and woman (as I am a man myself). And remember with all skincare products the golden rule "Less is more".
