Skincare - Face -Coastal Scents - African Black Soap

I have been using this product for 2 months now. I wanted to make sure I gave it enough time before I actually wrote a review so here goes. I LOVE this product! I have oily skin and am prone to break outs especially during the summer and this soap makes my skin feel squeaky clean. Unlike some of the other reviews, I only use this once a day because I found that if I use it more than that my skin starts to get itchy even with moisturizer. when I first started using this product I did break out the first week but I think that was because my skin was adjusting to the new product. Since then I have noticed that my skin is clearer, less oily and more even toned. I have been using Proativ for the last 3 years and I can honestly say that this soap does more for my skin than the Proactiv. I would highly recommend this product but I do advise that you give it enough time to work properly with your skin. Overall an awesome product and it will last a LONG time, I only bought one bar and I've only used a small corner of it in the last 2 months.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"
alevalerio1986 2/23/2011 12:04:00 PM
Out of all 3 new 8 pan pallets from Wet n Wild this is my favorite. The colors are gorgeous shimmery nuetrals. The pigmentation is awesome, and you can't beat the price. The only downside is the fall out but I can deal with that. The color pay off alone is worth it. I was also hoping to see some matte shades as the previous 6pan pallets (lust, vanity, etc) included both shimmer AND matte shades which were awesome. Unfortunately, this particular pallet was all shimmer shades. I am really looking forward to more pallets like these from Wet n Wild...and I hope they re-release the holiday pallets because I was unable to get my hands on them the first time around :( Ultimately, Comfort Zone is a great buy, definitely recommend this.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Eyeshadow Collection - Petal Pusher (736)
alevalerio1986 2/23/2011 11:54:00 AM
Out of the new three 8-pan pallets from Wet n Wild this is my least favorite. The colors are nice and good pigmentation but they just don't compare to the other two as far as color originality and quality. These seem a bit more chalky than the other two. For the price it's worth a try if you really like the purple, pink mauve colors but I would skip it if you already have a bunch of these colors.

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - ColorIcon Palette in Lust [DISCONTINUED]

I love this pallet! This is an awesome value, for less than $5 you get some really nice quality shadows and the pigmentation is awesome. The only thing, is of course, the packaging and the amount of fall out. But overall this is a great product for the price, definitely worth a try. I have tried all 4 pallets and this one is my absolute favorite!

Palettes -Coastal Scents - 36 Smokey Eyeshadow Palette
alevalerio1986 2/20/2011 12:55:00 AM
I was really excited when I saw this pallet online because the colors looked so vibrant. The shipping was fast but I do have to agree that it was hard to open. As far as the shadows themselves, I was disappointed. Many of them are very chalky and hard to blend and you have to really build them up to get the colors vibrant. The price has pretty reasonable so I'm not too upset but I probably won't be reaching for this pallet much.

Blush -E.L.F. - Natural Radiance Blusher in Coy
alevalerio1986 2/3/2011 2:00:00 PM
I recently got 4 blushes from e.l.f because they are cheap so it doesn't really hurt my pocketbook to try them out. out of the 4, Coy was the one I thought I was going to like the least just based on looking at it. Well this turned out to be my favorite color and I've already gone through 3 of these! This is not for someone who likes the bright cheery rosy cheeks. It is a nice muted cool mauve pinkish with a very slight hint of brown, lol I don't know if that helps at all. I use this to contour and it looks very natural on my skin. The only thing I don't like, like everyone else, is the packaging. But hey it's only $1 so I can't really complain. Will keep repurchasing :)

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Blending Brush
alevalerio1986 12/26/2010 12:54:00 PM
I only gave this brush 4 lippies because it is inconsistent. I ordered 6 of these brushes, they are only $1 so I figured I would stock up. Out of the 6 I really only like 3. The 3 that I like are very fluffy soft and blend my eyeshadows very well. The other 3 are scratchy, the bristles are stiff and they just don't do it for me. Now for the price tag you can't really complain, just gotta hope to get lucky and get one of the good brushes.

Lipstick -Rimmel - 1000 Kisses Stay On Lipstick
alevalerio1986 12/1/2010 11:09:00 PM
This is my absolute favorite lip liner! I have very oily skin and have issues with liner always feathering and bleading. This liner stays on all day and although it has a smooth feel when applying, it has a dry quality which I love because I don't like the whole glossy greasy feel on my lips... My favorite shade in Wild Clover and Tiramisu.. I hope they never stop making this liner because I will continue to purchase it over and over!
