Lipstick -Clinique - Butter Shine Lipstick - First Love

This was my first Clinique product ever and it totally was love at first sight! I don't usually wear lipstick but these Color Surge Butter Shine ones are enough glossy, sheer, and moisturizing so they're perfect IMO. First Love is a rather sheer light coral shade on me, which I like. Will definitely repurchase now that the tube is empty. The silver tube is very simple yet chic. Totally recommended.
This was my 2nd MAC lipgloss and I wanted to like it having bought Plushglass in Big Baby that I didn't like for the strands it left on my lips. Well, this one was no exception. Despite the beautiful bright pinky peach shade of the gloss, it was too milky on my lips and the colour would stick on the furrows of my lips. No matter how carefully I tried to apply it, it never looked pretty and even. It's on the sticky side, which was a bit too much for my liking. The tube itself is simple and the size is good, but the text seems to wear off in an instant. I suppose I should steer clear of MAC lipglosses from now on..
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Guavagold

I saw these new Clinique Long Last Glosswear glosses at the Clinique counter at a department store and fell in love with the pretty shades immediately. I liked Guavagold most for its peachy shade with a hint of gold in it. I tried it on and it looked pretty. Kind of like a peachy nude. I bought it (cost 20,20€ in my country) and tried it on at home. I was bummed: it tasted awful, almost like plastic and when I parted my lips there were visible strands on the inner parts of my lips. Yuck. Besides, the gloss was very sticky, like MAC Lipglass. I don't know if it's my lips or only this particular, rather milky shade or what, but I didn't like the gloss eventually. What a shame, I would've wanted to like this. However, I liked the tube, very chic, and the fact this gloss has SPF 15.
