Makeup Brushes -Real Techniques by Samantha Chapman - Expert Face Brush
aldrinmoore 5/7/2013 10:03:00 AM
I watched someone use this on you tube against another chapman real techniques brush and you could tell it was the better one as she did half face with one and half with this ne.This one looked more flawless. So I bought it and im quite impressed with it.I don't use it with powders just liquid foundation and it gives good results so im happy with it and glad I bought it rather than using my stippling one.

Blush -Max Factor - Miracle Touch Creamy Blush
aldrinmoore 4/22/2013 5:02:00 AM
I first wore this on my daughters birthday 2 years ago and have been wearing it ever since. My mum on the day was like I love your blusher what is it and where can I buy it from. She said it looked so nice and dewy which is what I want.I told her but let her have mine and I bought a new one that was the soft murino, I usually wear soft coper as I have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes and this colour looks nice on me.You do have to have a dewy foundation with this as my skin is combi dry cheeks so this makes me look nice and fresh, I use pixiwoo stippling brush or fingers and it looks fine, blends really well.Well it works for me and iv'e had a few comments on it so Im happy enough with it.

Foundations -Vichy - Dermablend Corrective Foundation
aldrinmoore 4/22/2013 4:53:00 AM
The amount of money I have spent on foundation is a joke.I've tried Giorgio Armani lasting silk, laura mercier silk crème, Revlon, Clinique, estee lauder, chanel, the list goes on & on.My georgio Armani was good but needed a few layers, this however is good price, colour ok I can live with it its not really a huge problem, coverage is very good, packaging can cut open to get last bits out, doesn't feel heavy, hopefully my skin will be abit more clearer as my pregnancy has given me a few spots and have quite abit of discolouration. This is by far means not perfect but for the price and I think I need a rest from trying to find the perfect foundation which I don't think there ever will be this will do.

Bronzers -St.Tropez - Self Tan Bronzing Mousse
aldrinmoore 4/5/2013 1:14:00 PM
I have used st tropez in the past and thought it was ok.I decided to buy it again a few years later and I applied it woke up the next morning and it seemed ok not brilliant but ok.I work in a large shopping centre in a well known retail shop and when I went to work I looked like an umpa lumpa, luckily I had only done my arms as in this weather its the only part that's on show apart from my face, luckily it came off moe on my face so not so bad but o.m.g my hands looked ridiculous.I felt embarrassed serving customers with these orange tango hands.I never remember it being this orange, it was no different to the st moritz which is only a few punds, luckily I only paid £13pounds for this off ebay but it was sealed and lady had 100% feedback so have no idea why this has made my hands so orange.wehter it was a fake or bad batch I don't know but I won't be buying it again, everyone raves on about it but its just so orange.

Crème -Revlon - ColorStay Whipped Creme Makeup
aldrinmoore 10/6/2012 11:52:00 AM
Like the other reviewer, i didn't like this that much, even the coverage, it to me is really not much different from the other revlon however this didn't feel as sticky after a few hours.I got it in warm golden and yes there is a def cold tone to it.I think without sounding like a snob prefer my higher end foundations, this is ok to wear if you don't have much money but really i would go busking if i had to, to be able to pay for a nicer foundation.I won't be buying this again

Eyeliner -Revlon - colourstay liquid liner
aldrinmoore 9/16/2012 5:59:00 AM
After trying numerous eyeliners i have always ended up giving up after trying to apply them as they never seem to go on even. However this one after seeing some people use it on you tube i thought id give it ago.Tried it yesterday and im impressed, the nib is great, its stiff and dosn't fluff at the end (benifit-rubbish) and the line was easy, straight and even- yay.I havn't worn it out yet on a good blow out so can't speak for it yet in that respect but just to apply it is a yay from me, i have tried high end and low end and this is so far the best one i have tried.

Loose Powders -Laura Mercier - translucent loose powder
aldrinmoore 7/22/2012 2:53:00 PM
All i can say is it does the job but also looks a little bit chalky, maybe because im so used to glowy foundation but god fed up when looking at a photo of me my forehead, nose and chin looked like you could fry an egg on it i decided to get a powder.I use this with a l.m foundation and the 2 work together.Just need to get used to the matte look.I may buy it again if i can't find a better one.I wouldn't say its tranlucent but then it also dosn't really change the colour of your foundation that much either.

Bronzers -Chanel - Soleil Tan Fluide (Sheer Illuminating Fluid) in Sunkissed
aldrinmoore 6/13/2012 8:53:00 AM
i wasn't actually after this, i was at the chanel counter getting sample of foundation but i was being abit nosy and gave a little test on back of my hand.I fell in love, i had to have it, i always wanted a illuminater, i have one, mac strobe but that is quite white, this one is a gorgeous golden colour.I decided to give up the other things i intended to by from the shops to buy this.I have just got to keep it to a little bit when applying as in the shop it was very obvious on the back of my hand but when tested at home on my face i could barely see it so i just got to remember less is more.I very rarelyr give anything 5 starts but this def deserves it.you get loads for the price,it is a small bottle but you really don't need much.it can even be used on your shins (legs), cleaverage, collar bones and shoulders.just got to find the money to by the things i intended to by now..he he

Primer/ Corrector -Laura Mercier - Foundation Primer - Hydrating
aldrinmoore 6/1/2012 12:26:00 PM
i bought this and the l.m silk creme foundation and out the 2 its given me very bad spots? i never suffer from spots infact i can't even remember the last time i had spots but something in these has made me brake out? the primer is good but not for hot weather, def for winter months, the foundation is good but looks worse without the primer but then the primer makes ya face very oily? i have combi skin and still need to determine if it was this or the foundation that made me brake out?

Self Tanners -ModelCo - Jet Set Tan Mousse
aldrinmoore 5/23/2012 3:07:00 PM
i have tried so many self tanners and this aint bad.its not the best i do prefer it to fake bake, xen tan (not the mouse though) lancome, st moriz.I would say its my second favourite, st.tropez has to be my favourite.Fake bake to orange, so is st.moriz, this does remind me of lancome and xen tan a little bit.I like the smell its very sweet but i couldn't put this on without washing after, st.tropez i can. This however does make you feel very sticky as it takes a while to dry but does leave a nice suttle colour.i will probaly return to my st.tropez mousse but who knows may get this aswell.

Treatments (Eye) -Promaxyl - Eyelash Renewal serum Rapidlash
aldrinmoore 5/19/2012 6:29:00 AM
i was abit unsure about this.I had picked the mascara off and unfortunatly picked the ends of my eyelashes at the same time so was left with short stubbly eyelashes.I bought 2 just incase 1 wasn't enough, second day of using it and only at night as the eye has to be clean and dry and whala..my eyelashes are super long again..very happy..good stuff..worked for me but don't think i'll buy it again:)

Self Tanners -ModelCo - Tan Airbrush In A Can
aldrinmoore 5/17/2012 8:28:00 AM
i bought this based on the other good reviews and thought id give it a go.Why? the can is so big its a nightmare to do with your other hand.Im ok spraying it with my right hand but just so akward with the left. Also it came out patchy, colour ok not the worst but then not the best.I am sticking to mouse ones from now on, these ones in a can don't apply evenly and unless you do it outside in your garden unless you want to be spending the next half an hour cleaning your bathroom i would not purchase this or any other brand in spray can form.

Self Tanners -Unlisted Brand - St. Moriz Self Tanner Foam
aldrinmoore 4/22/2012 11:56:00 AM
this is a review for the DARK MOUSE & MEDIUM MOUSE A friend of mine suggested this after i see her birthday pictures she said this is what she used.I went ahead of bought 2 bottles at about £3pounds each. When applying it it was great, spread very nicely, did find it went abit patchy so reapplied, woke up in the morning to a very orange looking reflection in the mirror, i thought david dickinson had sneaked into my room, tangoed! i don't know how people say its not orange, well either i or they need there eyes testing because i know what shade orange is and this was it.Yes it is cheap, yes it don't have a horrible smell but still a slight scent there, yes it does apply nicely and yes maybe if it dreied evenly so you don't have to re apply it this would be a fantastic product but i would rather spend that bit extra and stick with my st tropez, no money is worth looking like a umpa lumpa or a carrott on legs REVIEW: FEW DAYS LATER - this stuff wears off horrible..very scally, yuk, iv'e scrubbed and tried washing it off and now have to keep fully clothes untill its gone completly..this may be good for some people but not for me..for the price id say try it, you may be one of the lucky ones who gets on with it..1/5 EDIT: THIS IS FOR THE MEDIUM SHADE Now this is better than the dark.In outside light you can only slightly tell i have fake tan on but indoors i def look more tanned.Ok if your going out at night and are then indoors as it will be noticable.I didn't get on with the dark it was so orange and with this stuff you need to apply it twice to make sure you got everywhere so the dark was way dark and horrid.Medium much better but not the best but for the price and your abit skint but need some colour then this will do. 3 and a half out of 5

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Face & Body Foundation
aldrinmoore 4/19/2012 9:38:00 AM
after reading so many good reviews on this i wanted to get some to wear in the day for my holiday. What a load of pants! waterproof? ridiculous, sweatproof, ridiculous, i put it on sun bathed outside in my garden for about an hour and the stuff came off, it wipes straight off.I dread to think what its like to go swimming with it on.complete waste of money, i knew it wouldn't cover my sun spots as it is literally like water, so sheer.I also put on my make up forever waterproof concealer on first and as soon as i put this foundation over it it just wiped the concealer away, both products are a pile of rubbish and DO NOT do what they suppose to do.I won't be buying anymore of their products, totally over hyped brand. The only people who will benifit from this foundation is people with absolutly perfect skin and who's skin is on the slightly dry side as the effect this gives is like you have cling film on your face.
