Sunscreen -Cerave - Face Lotion SPF 50

I was excited to see this new product by Cerave just prior to going on a Carribean cruise. However, it is not at all as advertised -- goes on white and thick and is difficult to blend in. It also balls up if you keep rubbing or try to put makeup over it. I felt it was such a bad product that I couldn't even use it on my body, so I returned it.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous with Curved Brush

I like the L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara with the regular wand, but the curved wand is a disaster! Way too much product comes out and if you don't wipe most of it off it is very difficult to apply (wet and clumpy.) Stick to the straight brush!!

Liquid -Urban Decay - Naked Skin

This is a pretty great foundation which provides a very natural, matte finish but still manages to cover redness and imperfections. It is light and does not feel makeup-ey. One downside -- it does highlight any flakes so lost one lippie for that.

Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer

This primer works better for me than the Urban Decay one. It isn't as greasy and doesn't crease. Shadow goes on smoothly and stays fresh all day!!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Clump Crusher mascara

This is a great everyday mascara for the price. It goes on easily and smoothly and does not clump. You get nicely separated and defined lashes without flaking or clumping. It also stays on nicely without giving dark smudges under the eyes. Good stuff!!

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Extreme Volume

I like the regular High Impact mascara so thought I would try this for extra volume. However, this is a very wet product that makes lashes stick together more than anything. Too much comes out on the brush. I do like the brush -- especially the extra bristles on the end where it's kind of rounded. I ended up using the end of the brush mostly since it was easier to work with. I actually ended up returning this since I like my drugstore mascara better (Cover Girl clump crusher right now!) This was not worth the money.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Pink Truffle

This is an awesome product for the money. I recently also bought a Clinique Chubby stick and found it very drying, so I returned it and happend to find this at Target the same day. I love it!! It is a very pretty and natural nude-pink color that is so easy to wear. The formula is so smooth, shiny and moisturizing and does not dry my lips out. Not long-wearing, but so easy and foolproof to apply that I don't mind.

Cleansers -Ponds - Luminous Clean Cream Cleanser

Wonderful cleanser for sensitive, combination skin. Truly seems to clean well without overdrying. I am acne-prone and my face cleared up using this with my Clarisonic. The best part is the price!! Smells nice, too.

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Ultra Gentle Soothing Cream

I was surprised that this "ultra gentle" cream gave me a burning/stinging feeling when applied after cleansing -- and I used it with the Ultra Gentle Foaming Cleanser. I also do not like the fragrance. It did moisturize fairly well and left my face soft without feeling greasy.

I really like this -- it cleans well without over-drying. I have sensitive, acne-prone skin and this worked well for me. I like it better than Cerave or Cetaphil.
