After reading many reviews from usual people and make up artists such as Lisa Eldridge, I decided to buy this product. I am totally unimpressed. It leaves my faces feeling gritty and dirty. It takes up 5 cottons to remove Dejavu Fiberwig Extra Long Mascara. I give this product 2 lippies for not irritating my face.

In search of a perfect peony perfume, I decided to buy a sample of Vert Pivoine. It is an unusual interpretation of peony. The fragrance is not sweet and powdery. It is a woody herbal peony, which would be more appropriate for a man.

Fragrances -Montale - Roses Musk

Given the descroption of Montale on luckyscent.com, I should not have been surprised by heaviness of Roses Musk. This fragrance is purely Arabian. It has got a woody musky undertones that completely overwhelm rose and jasmine notes.

Based on notes, this fragrance seemed like an effervescent interpretation of roses. Alas, it turned out to be heavy and cloying during warm and cold weather. In my personal opinion, musk sucked all the supposed freshness and lightness out of this fragrance.

Notes: Taif rose, Shiraz rose, Rose Anciennes, jasmine, wood, amber, leather It is the second rose fragrance by Keiko Mecheri that impressed me. An opening combination of roses and jasmine is fresh and delicate. Warm wood notes give this fragrance some depth and enhance creaminess. Unlike Drole de Rose, leather notes do not end up smelling rancid on my skin.

I found Mure et Musc harsh. Musc is very pronounced, whereas blackberry note is pungent and earthy. It smells more like expensive soap.

Genie de Bois turned out to be as suffocating sugary as Loukhoum. It opens very strong and synthetic. Then it mellow down to smell of woodsy bubble gum.

The review is based on the sample (4ml). It is a heavy emollient cream. It did not cause any breakout and took time to sink into skin. When used in combination with Skin Balancer and Lotion from the same line, it makes skin soft and bright.

Toners -Unlisted Brand - The History of Whoo- Whitening Skin Balancer

The review is based on the deluxe sample (20ml). This product is meant to enhanced absorption of face creams and serums. It is milky liquid lotion that sinks into skins fast. The balancer has got a flowery herbal smell that does not bother me much. My skin felt silky to touch and was brighter. Unlike Japanese toners, this product should be applied with hands and patted.

It is so so serum. It did not cause any break out or showed any visible results. It just slightly brightened my face. I am not sure why it boasts of " a potent complex of Activated C, white birch and peony", when the white birch and peony are listed toward the end of the ingredient list.

After testing multiple times, I found "Drole de Rose" sour and soapy. It is not pleasant light powdery. It is more sweaty sour. I think it is leather and iris notes do not mix well on my skin.

Fragrances -Keiko Mecheri - Mogador

Testing rose fragrances ... I have to say that Mogador is a very clean interpretation of the rose. It is soft and creamy. I have not detected any powdery notes and soapiness that may turn any rose perfume bitter. It is not suffocating when worn during hot days. I noticed that many of Keiko Mecheri fragrances have got a purely Japanese feature: being subtle and sheer. I am planning to test Attar de Rose for comparison.

At first sniff Johana smells like a skincare/fragrance area in a department store. Undeniably it is the Japanese perfume. It is meant for autumn: cold, subtle and non-sweet. The fragrance does capture bitter herbal smell of chrysanthemums. Incense and cocoa enhance the bitterness element. Rose adds a tiny touch of creaminess. Iris appears to pierce the whole composition with an earthy spicy element. Overall, I found Johana very heavy and suffocating during warmer days and somewhat bearable during colder one.

The review is based on the deluxe sample (0.5 oz/15gr) of Beifait Multi-Vital SPF30 I used this cream approximately used Beinfait for 16 days. The creme has got a soft powdery smell of classic French perfumery and dissipates fast. Although the texture appears to be light, the moisturiser felt filmy on my face and clogged pores around the mouth area.

Loukhoum is the sweetest fragrance I have ever smelt. I expected something milder and fresh or citrus notes to cut through sugary haze. However, woodsy and honey notes suffocate this perfume making it impossible to wear for me. It comes across too cloying and may give a strong headache.
