I originally wanted 12 Forbidden Burgundy but when i tested it on me it was a neon red violet that looked really cheap. The seemingly goth dark 22 Exquisite Plum instantly brightened my pale face and settled a deep mysterious burgundy. Reference : I am an NC 20 Asian with yellow undertones. Most lipsticks turn orange-y or bright cheap pink on me as well.

MLBB! Yahoo! This is what I hoped 01 Nude or 02 Sensual Silk would look on me. Those were too chalky my naturally pale mouth just vanished. On me it was a nude brown mauve that made my lips luscious!

I wanted so badly to like this but it gave me concealer lips. I have light skin (MAC NC 20 and JI Bisque) but my lips are very pale so there was no color to tone down. The color on the tube was the color on my mouth. Pale beige. ICK...

Got dark hair ( medium brown to blue black) and pale (medium to light) skin? Regardless of race this would look fantastic on you. Think of crushed burgundy rose petals or benefit benetint turned into a creamy lipstick. It stays on and does not dry my lips. I am a dark haired MAC NC20 Asian girl and this makes me look like a movie star of yore.

Looks ghoulish on the tube but was a sheer burgundy magenta on my lips. Like the juice of crushed burgundy rose petals. It could be a bit more moisturizing tho. I am a NC20 asian with pale lips.

This registered a mauve rose on my lips. It was the most wonderful thing that brightened my bare face in an instant. It looked a bit gray on the tube but registered a wee bit pinker compared to MAC Twig. This is my new everyday lip shade. I am a FFF Asian NC20, NARS Deauville or Fiji, BB Warm Ivory

It does not stay very long but sheer lipsticks never do anyhow. I was lemming for Chantecaille's Lip chic's but they were just too expensive in Hong Kong at US$38 each (300 hk$). To me 09 Pomengranate was a perfect dupe for Chantecaille's Ceylon or Shiseido Honey tea/ Clinique Black honey etc... 05 Elderberry was pretty close to Chantecaille's Heirloom. I did not get the awful bitter taste with mine as others did.

The texture and feel on my perpetually dry lips were great. However this color turned bright pinkish orange on me as with most lipsticks. UGH! Did pretty well with 717 Plum, 726 Heather Pink and 727 Gold Plum though.

This was what I hoped Muse would look like on my lips. A rosey brown shade that makes people wonder if you lipstick on. I cannot thank the reviewer below enough. If it wasn't for her I would not even give Secret a chance. Now it's a staple in all my handbags along with Perle. Reference: I am an Asian MAC NC20 and BB Warm Ivory. Most lipsticks turn bright obnoxious pink or garish orange on me.

As with most nude/pale shades it turned orange on me:-C It looks fabulous on everyone else but on me... ICK! My friends are all begging me for mine as it looks wonderful on all of them.

It was just too greasy on my skin especially in the daytime so I looked like an oily slob. My pores appeared huge and there were slight breakouts. I am 39 years old and this felt too rich. Live in the tropics though so that may be the problem. Gave it to a younger friend who lives in NYC and she loves the way it makes her skin look during the spring, fall-winter months. A bit too greasy on her for summer!

I'm turning 39 and this makes me so greasy in the daytime. perhaps it has something to do with living in the tropics. There are no breakouts though plus the Night treatment is fabulous but although I will be buying the intensive and night treatments again this one is a no no!

Forget the philosophy pure or baby grace line. Try this one! You have to look in Filipino stores in California to get it but if you are ever in the Philippines raid the grocery shelves for Heaven. It will set you back $5 for the biggest bottle and smells so clean!

A rich sexy deep wine on the tube and the first few minutes on my lips. Then it turns into a deep paprika red which is a bit too orange for my taste so I mix it with deep red lipliner to get that vampire goth mysterious red. The texture is perfect and it leaves my skin silky smooth.
