Styling Products -Organix - Brazilian Keratin Therapy Anti-Breakage Serum

I love this serum. I've always been on a hunt for the perfect leave-in product for the ends of my hair that will add shine, strength and moisture and I've finally found it. I use this after I towel dry clean hair or when my hair is dry too. It leaves my ends feeling very silky and shiny. I highly recommend this serum.
LOVE this mask. My mom purchased this mask from LUSH and forgot about it for almost a week so she was in a hurry to use it up before it went bad. I decided to give it a go since I've heard great things about it. The texture is grainy and since it must remain chilled in the refrigerator, it feels nice and cool on the skin. I left it on my face for about 10 minutes and when it began to dry out I washed it off. Normally I feel like there is leftover residue from masks so I have to go back in and wash my face with a cleanser but because this mask has the grainy exfoliating texture, I was able to scrub my face while washing the product off. I was left with radiant soft and moisturized skin. I did not even have to apply a moisturizer after I washed off the mask like I normally do. The next morning, I noticed my pores were dramatically smaller and a lot of my blackheads were gone too. The only bad thing about this mask is that it has a two week lifespan and will spoil after that because it is made of fresh ingredients = I highly highly recommend anyone to try out this mask. It is gentle yet effective and cheap too!
Moisturizers -Aveeno - Active Naturals Smart Essentials Nighttime Moisture Infusion

I was in need of a nighttime moisturizer last year so I decided to pick this up from Target for around $13. Since then I have repurchased this twice. However, I cannot say that this is a life-changing product. I don't feel like it does much of anything besides moisturize my skin nicely before going to bed. It's nice but I'm still in the search of a holy grail night cream that will rock my world.
Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base

By far my favorite drugstore foundation primer! You only need a little amount (i use a nickel sized amount for the whole face). It is very silky and silicone-feeling and will completely mask pores and fine lines to prep for a flawless foundation application. My one complaint is that I hate the packaging. It is really annoying to have to dip my finger into the little pot every time I want to use it.
Despite mixed reviews, I picked up this blush because I much prefer cream blushes over powder blushes because I feel like they are more pigmented and last much longer on the face. I have this in the color Coffee Cake and I absolutely adore this blush- so much that I've already purchased a back up for when I finish this one. This color is decently pigmented. It can be sheered out or built up for a more intense color. The consistency is soft and squishy and a little bit of pressure is to be applied when blending it onto the face. The only thing I don't like about this blush is how messy it gets in the packaging after extended use. Some of the blush has gotten all over the sides and on the lid of the packaging and it is rather disgusting to look at now. However I must say this blush has lasted me for quite some time. I use this blush more often than I do my other blushes (almost every single day) since I've gotten it and I am still only about halfway done with it. Great value and great pigmentation. I think the people who complain about this blush line's lack of pigmentation bought the wrong shade.
I love this paint pot. It is my first and only paint pot from MAC. I wanted a cream shadow that I could use as a base for my shadows and wear by itself. It is a beautiful nutty gray-brown color that is really flattering on my olive NC-30 skin tone. It does not crease if I wear it alone and I find that it makes my shadows stay on my lids without fail as well. Great product. The only reason I wouldn't repurchase this product is because I want to try out a few of the other paint pots in different colors.
Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Extase Flash Plumping Mascara

I've always wanted to try a Dior mascara because everyone seems to love them. However, I was greatly disappointed by this mascara. After paying around $27 for it, I brought it home and was so excited to see results. But all this mascara did for me was clump my already stubby and short lashes. It did not give me much length and it gave me 'volume' in terms of lashes clumped together. Really disappointed.
I have gone through about 4 or 5 of these eyeliners and will continue to repurchase it because it is my favorite pencil eyeliner. It is creamy, easy to sharpen and applies nicely and very dark on the eyes. It will not tug on the eyelids at all- just glide on with great pigmentation. The one bad thing I will say about this eyeliner is that it will crease if applied without a primer or over a shadow. I cannot wear this alone on the waterline because it will move by the end of the day and make me look like a panda but it stays much better on the upper lash line.
Bronzers -Stila - Stila Sun SPF 15 Bronzing Powder - Shade 02
ahuang300 8/9/2012 3:42:00 PM
My favorite matte bronzer. The packaging is sleek, not bulky although I wish they included a mirror in the compact. The bronzer is completely matte and is perfect for contouring or for dusting lightly all over the face. It will not make you look orange or muddy at all. Cannot say enough about this bronzer. It is a little on the pricey side at $28, but it is worth it because it will last you a long time.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Carbon Black Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner
ahuang300 8/9/2012 3:38:00 PM
I love thus eyeliner! It makes applying liquid liner so easy and I love the shiny black finish it has on the eyes. The fine tip at the end makes it easy to control and to draw very specific lines and wings. Great product. Will always be my liquid liner of choice.
This powder does close to nothing for me. It is supposed to "perfect" the complexion and counteract unwanted colors on the face but I feel like it is just as good as a translucent powder. I do use it for setting concealer or on days when I don't need full coverage. It is finely milled and soft and will not cake up the face. Great price ($3) but not that useful. Wouldn't recommend unless you're looking for a setting powder with no tint.
I do enjoy this blush and most of NYX's powder blush collection. However, I was rather disappointed with this blush's pigmentation. I love the dusty rose-pink color and how it looks on my cheeks, but I find that I have to apply the blush a few times before it can be seen. Other than the bad pigmentation, this blush is absolutely gorgeous and leaves a very natural flush to the cheeks.
Before I even got a decent amount of uses from this product, I completely cracked it. The packing for this blush is SO beyond frustrating I can't even tell you. The tin would not open no matter how many times I tried to pry it open so finally in an act of desperation I threw it on the ground to try to loosen the lid. Well that worked but it completely cracked the blush inside. So now I have a really messy and cracked blush. The blush itself is rather shimmery- which I am not a big fan of. The colors are nice but I don't think this blush is worth the cost.
I LOVE LOVE this foundation! It is truly revolutionary. I apply it onto Dior flat top foundation brush after shaking it a few times and then apply it directly to the skin. The application and bottle reminds me of dry shampoo. This foundation leaves a beautiful flawless finish on my skin and has decent coverage. Unfortunately, this is the most expensive foundation I own and I just cannot justify spending another $60 or so on another bottle. But I will continue to use the rest of this bottle and enjoy beautiful flawless skin. Be careful not to get it on your clothing or hair!
I got this product because I heard great things about it and this was the only color in the line that appealed to me. I had tried the taupe one as well but I hated that color and gave it away. I kept this one only because I love neutrals and I wanted to like this bronzey color. However, the more I use it the more I start to hate this color as well. If you look closely, there are little glitter particles in the cream and I much prefer matte cream shadows or even sheen-y ones like MAC's Indianwood and Rubenesque. I am really not a fan of the little glitter particles. In terms of staying power, it does stay on my lids for a long time but so do all of my other cream shadows.
