Liquid -MAC - Face and Body Foundation

I wanted to love this product so much. However, there are so many issues I just can't be happy with it. I originally decided to switch from my Chanel liquid foundation to Mac Face and Body because I no longer wanted to spend 60+ for a 1.0 fl oz foundation body. Mac face and body is only ~30 for a 3.0 fl oz bottle. Furthermore, it is waterproof. I also wanted a light weight foundation just to even out my skin tone. 1. It did just that. It was a beautiful light weight foundation. It stayed put during even during the hot summer days. 2. Unfortunately, after about a couple months of using the products, I started noticing clusters of tiny bumps all over my face. I'm the one who would have an occasional pimple every few months. All these bumps all at once was a total nightmare. The only thing I changed was my foundation. I knew this was the root of the issue. I switched back to my Chanel. Slowly all these bumps became pimples, one by one. I dealt with the issue for over 6 months until my skin cleared again. I've always heard about how Mac's foundations break people out but I always thought it was about how well clean your brushes/ hands are, which I make sure mine are before I put it on my face. Unfortunately, I became another statistic. 3. Overtime, the foundation separates dramatically. 4. I'm so bummed this wasn't the foundation for me. The finish was amazing.

Eyeliner -Revlon - ColorStay Liquid Liner

I love this eyeliner. It stays on all day long. The shade blackest black is amazing. The felt tip is extremely easy to work with. The only complaint I have is it runs out rather quick. However, with the occasional bogo 50% off sales at walgreens, eases the issues.

1 star for the color match 2 star for oil control 3 star for the packing. The color shell is a perfect match for my skin, dead on. Its a matte foundation so it controls my oily T-zone rather well. I don't powder, yet it doesn't run or get overly cakey after a long day. If I did powder, I'm sure it would control my oils even better. Too bad, I'm lazy. I love the Chanel packaging. A pump with a clean rectangular prism bottle. However, I do not like my foundation to have a smell to it. I have sensitive skin. Repeated wear makes my skin itch. I would only go to this foundation when I'm heading for a night out on the town. Secondly, it's ridiculously pricey. Another reason why I use this foundation sparingly.

Mascara -Rimmel - Sexy Curves

I can not love this enough. Definitely my holy grail mascara. For the price point and how beautiful it makes my eyelashes, I can't find another comparable mascara. One coat can give you a longer yet natural looking eyebrows for the minimal makeup days. Several more coats would give the voluminous and longer lashes for the heavier makeup days. I've tried many other mascaras, however I always end up going to back to this one.

Makeup Brushes -MAC - #217 Blending

One of my top must have brushes. It is the go to brush to apply and blend out dark colors. It just feathers it so perfectly. It hasnt shed on me once since I've had it. If I were to choose to have only two eyeshadow brushes, Mac's 239 and this 217 is it. One to pack on the color and blend.

Brows -Shu Uemura - Brow Pencil

Absolutely amazing product. I only have half eyebrows so I need to draw them on every day. This product gives the most amazing results. It is a hard formula, so the product does not release too much color at once. That also goes for how long the product lasts. Ive used it for almost 2 weeks now, but I have not needed to sharpen it at all yet. It is very buildable to get a very natural finish. The color is perfect. I use seal brown by the way. And it stays on all day. It does not wear off like many other eyebrown products that Ive tried. The price is a bit much, but with the size and result it is worth it.

To start off, I love the finish of this foundation. It came on semi matte for me. It gave me a very nice even coverage, that is buildable. Every smooth looking skin. It is very long wearing. I would put it on in the morning and it would stay on the whole day. It was amazing on my oily spots which is mainly on my nose. On hot days I would blot with the clean and clear oil blot sheets. But on the colder days, no sign of oil. So for oil control, it definitely wins for me. Price was amazing. Very cheap for the quality it gives. So why did I give it a 3 star? Well for one, I can not find a decent match. I had to mix between the golden beige and warm beige to find a match for me. Secondly, I am allergic to it. Every time I wear it, I get itch spots. I so hope that it didnt do that. Otherwise, this would be my go to foundation. But sadly my skin just wont work with it.
