Lipstick -ILIA - Tinted Lip Conditioner in Crimson And Clover

The Story: I'm actually on my second tube of this. The Color: On me, Crimson & Clover comes off as a strong deep red with neutral undertones. It can be sheer, natural red with a carefully light swipe and then swiped more for a deeper red look. It dries off with a slight sheen. Does not look glossy at all. Almost dries into a semi-matte look. The Formula: Ilia's Tinted Lip Conditioners are meant to be a lip balm/lip stick combination. (Think Revlon's Lip Butters gone green and eco-friendly. Add a little chic packaging and you have Ilia's Tinted Lip Conditoners.) Because of this, they are fairly moisturizing. After 2-4 hours however, I have to reapply with lip balm. Not sure why. The Wear Time: Like I said, the color stays on forever until you try to take it off. It does fade from it's full effect, but the color is so strong, it won't really fade all the way. You'll see what I mean when you get your hands on one of these babies. (Note: I have these in other colors and this one is the longest lasting. The other lighter colors do not last as long.) Overall: I really love the formula. It isn't drying and can be made sheer or opaque for a full color effect.
Product was very drying with very little color payoff. Had to wipe it off because it was just that drying.
I really like this eye liner. The brush soft like a brush, but with the precision of a felt tip pen. I also like that this liner is thinner than my HG eyeliner from Smashbox. So whenever I need a thinner line, I come to this eye liner. This doesn't smudge, dries fast and is very very bold. It might take some time getting used to, but once you get it, the results are very bold. You can easily create different cat eye looks with this. Overall this is a great item! I highly recommend this.
This blush goes on very natural and very pigmented. I find that I have to be very ginger when applying bc it's too easy to over apply. But once you get the perfect shade you want, it goes on very beautifully and very naturally. It's on a darker peachy tan pink shade. Absolutely gorgeous. I use this for work whenever I don't want a highlighter on my cheeks (Nars Orgasm blush). This blush comes out matte, easy to blend. Overall, this is a great product. I got this for a steal from the Red Carpet kit.
Mascara -LORAC - Multiplex 3D Lashes Volumizing & Thickening Mascara

This mascara is now one of my absolute favorites. I'm also a nurse and this stays put! Usually mascaras tend to smudge on me but this one doesn't. I got this in the Red Carpet kit (which is an absolute steal). Also, the application is tricky at first and when I didn't know how to do it, it came out all clumpy and ugly. But then I figured out that the curve has to align with your eye. So for everyone who probably didn't like this, that might be the reason why. Once you get it, your lashes come out neat, long, curvy and volumized! It's absolutely amazing !!! Definitely a new HG mascara for me.
!!!!!! HG PRODUCT RIGHT HERE !!!!!! I've tried and tested this product on my hand and eyes. It is smudgeproof, waterproof, sweatproof, and yes, even clubproof. Application takes a little practice, but once you get the hang out of it, you can pop this eyeliner on in a minute. The felt tip marker gives you great precision! You can get dramatic cat eyes or simple day-time eyeliner. I have both Black and Brown. Brown is dark enough where it can look like a neutral black. I've had so many complements on the Brown one. The Black one is super jet black. Perfect for a night out. I reserve this color for clubbing or partying. The Brown is better for the workday. Overall, GREAT product! I've gone from pencil eyeliner, to pot eyeliner and then this. This is hands down, the best.
Got this Apricot. COLOR: This is the EXACT color shade I had been looking for in every lipstick you can think of. It's a very warm muted down peachy reddish pink with a background of rosey color. This color is seriously my favorite one right now. I'd imagine this to be perfect on people with warm skin tones. STAYING POWER: I applied my favorite lip balm underneath (the Body Shop's cannibis one) and have to say that I never got that cracking, drying feeling that most reviewers here talked about. I did however, feel like I lost on it's staying power. On me, it lasted about 3 hours. Almost gone with eating and drinking, but didn't completely wash off like most lipsticks. My friend however, did NOT apply balm bc she naturally has moisturized lips, and they STAYED on through her entire meal! It didn't even fade! She had hers on for about 9 hours. ------ EDIT: Okay so after using this for quite some time, I realized that once you mess up the lip balm trick, the results are simply unforgiveable. I was reapplying outdoors and the result was a cracking, flaking mess. The color crumbled into little crumbs. Literally. I had to remove everything and was too wary to try reapplying it again. Overall, I probably wouldn't buy this again just bc it's too high maintenance to apply and reapply. Too bad though, bc the color was amazing.
The color is absolutely gorgeous! - a pinkish, deep rose that's somewhere between neutral pink and soft rose. This color could definitely work as an everyday lip gloss for me. The color is opaque, which means it contains more color and is less sheer than other lip glosses. Consistency is moisturizing and soft. Not too sticky either. Great for spring/summer!
Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaMixers Flavored Lip Balm

You definitely get what you paid for with this product. It's your typical dollar quality lip balm. Sheer with minimal color. Becomes drying after some time.
This is a new product that I think just came out this year. I have Red Dahlia, which I think is the darkest color. Got this at CVS for around $7. Personally, I'm not yet sure about how I feel about the product. It's very moisturizing and sinks into your lips. The color is very sheer though. Will update soon.
Moisturizers -Korres - Yogurt Cream (Yoghurt Cream)

Got this as a sample from Sephora. And I must say, this is by far, the most luxurious moisturizer my skin has ever touched! PROS: Soft and silky, milky and creamy. After application, my super dry flaking cheeks just soaked this up. My cheeks felt super SOFT AND SMOOTH. This is the kind of skin I have been envious of so much! And I've finally found the moisturizer to do it for me! CONS: Expensive. Has a slight yoghurt scent. But it's barely there, so I don't count it much. Overall, I'm buying this once my supply of samples are gone.
Lipstick -Sephora - MANIAC MAT LONG WEARING MATTE LIPSTICK

I got this in No 19. And it's actually pretty moisturizing and slick. Not exactly full coverage though. I found, based on the samples, that the consistency of different colors are different. For example, No19 was the most moisturizing, but when you go to persay No6, the consistency was suddenly chalk dry! So yeah, just be careful about choosing colors for this line.
WOW! For only $12 from sephora, this product has some really really good quality. It's a cream lipstick, so it's not as drying as most lipsticks. I wouldn't call it moisturizing however, because it is still a lipstick. Btw, this is a FULL COVERAGE lipstick. I simply loved that about it. And you only need to apply a little at a time. Overall, I just wish they had more colors. I got Charmer, which is almost the perfect color that I'm looking for.
This product SMELLS so BAD that I couldn't stand keeping it on my lips. Even after a strongly scented lip gloss to cover up the scent, the smell just resurfaced. For a supposedly natural product, this lipstick wreaks of chemicals and pollutants. It's just too strong. If I were to smell a chemical dump, I think this is what it would smell like. Gave it an extra lippie for the lip color and consistency. I got it in nude. It's a very pretty muted mauve color. Very natural. Too bad for the smell.
Powder -Lancome - Dual Finish Versatile Powder Makeup

Got this in Macy's for around $30. The SA helped me pick the color perfect for my skin. Overall this product is pretty good. It helped keep my skin shine-free. No whiteness under photography. My only con is that it wasn't the perfect shade for my skin. Apparently my skin is an "in between" skin shades -.- BUMMER. That's why I took off a lippie.
