Hair Styling Tools -T3 - Tourmaline Original Duality Irons (yellow plates)

I recently purchased the T3 Bespoke Labs Medium Duality Iron (1 3/8"). I have been contemplating this purchase for quite some time, due to the price tag of $160. Quite steep considering I already have straight hair. But I purchased one for my sister a couple of years ago and she swears by it. I decided to save some cash and purchased mine on eBay for $99. I was ecstatic when it turned out to be the real deal! After I used it a few times, I realized I would have paid the full price for this beauty! Although the flat iron I purchased is not the domed model, it creates beautiful loose curls that literally last until the next wash. Mind you, my hair has never been able to hold a curl before! I definitely would recommend this flat iron to anyone looking for shiny gorgeous hair! And styling time is minimal, which is important since I'm pretty low maintenance with my hair to begin with. If your willing to forgo the warranty, eBay is the way to go!!!

Lips -Clinique - Almost Lipstick in Black Raisin

I love this lipstick! Black Honey used to be a favorite, but this is definitely my new favorite! It has a beautiful sheer wash of color with a bit of shine. The color is definitely not as pink as Black Honey...a bit more of a warm brown/berry. Since this is a limited edition, I plan to buy a couple of more tubes for safe keeping!

Hair -Jonathan - Beauty Water Shower Purification System

I followed the advice of Pheebie's review below and purchased the Aquasana AQ4100, which you can buy at bestfilters.com for $62, plus shipping. Thanks Pheebie for the advice! I just installed it 2 days ago and I've already noticed a HUGE difference. My hair is softer, less weighed down. I would definitely recommend. If you don't mind that this filter is missing the Jonathan "brand", you'll be happy about saving about $30, plus no tax!

Self Tanners -Bobbi Brown - Self Tanner
aeperez80 5/25/2007 10:09:00 AM
I just tried this product in medium-dark last night. I am Latina, but fairly light skinned. It took me about 15 minutes to apply, but only b/c I was being careful. It took about 20 minutes before I felt comfortable putting clothes on, but I think it's actually OK after 15 minutes. Application was easy, especially applying to face and neck. The scent was noticeable, but not too strong or unbearable. I applied to legs, arms, neck, and face. When I woke up in the morning I noticed a difference right away! I thought it would take at least two applications before I noticed that much color. But it's not an obvious orangey color like I've seen before. I love Bobbi Brown and from the reviews on MakeupAlley, I knew it would be perfect. I can't wait to see how long the color lasts. I will most definitely keep using this product!!!

Self Tanners -Nivea - Summer Touch daily moisturizer

This was my first attempt at using a self tanner. The first application provided a barely noticeable result, but I was optimistic when I noticed there was no orange color. However, after the third application, the orange hue was quite noticeable. I scrubbed some off in the shower and watched the orange color wash down the drain. I had a relatively nice color after that that lasted about a week. The scent was nice and the price reasonable. It was just too much work to get the color I wanted. I returned the product and decided to try Bobbi Brown Sunless Tanning Gel for Face & Body. I read the reviews on this site and it looks like a winner. It is quite pricier than the Nivea; however, I think a believable tan is worth the price. I'll post my review once I've tried it!
