Eye Shadow -NARS - Outremer

I loved this ES the minute I saw it on display! I first put a base of Buxom creme shadow(the cobalt blue one), then I put this over it. Lasts FOREVER when applied this way! For some reason, this goes on WAY better than the Nars Daphne which is another electric color. Would definitely purchase again!

Fragrances -Escada - Taj Sunset

I LOVE this fragrace SOOO much!! I had received a bunch of Chanel fragrance samples along with this one and had just thrown them in a cabinet. Well, when I got around to cleaning said cabinet, I actually opened the Taj vial and fell in love!! If I could drink this, I would! It's fruity and creamy at the same time. I'm a two fragrance person: winter(Bulgari BLV II) and summer(formerly D&G Light Blue, NOW Taj Sunset). I do find that I have to reapply around lunchtime but I don't mind because it makes me SO happy to smell it fresh out of the bottle again!! P.S. I didn't like ANY of the Chanel samples!

Eyeliner -Bare Escentuals - Buxom Insider Eyeliner

I bought this in Amythest to use specifically on the lower inside rim of my eye. Like other posters, I thought that since it is called "Inside Liner", it would have tons of pigment and staying power. Well, the pigment was horrible, you almost couldn't tell it was purple! I went back to my cheapie Almay liner which has beautiful color and staying power! It went back to Sephora and I must say, they are really good about refunds and exchanges.

Loose Powders -Chanel - Poudre Universelle Libre Translucent 2
adaj40 11/25/2010 2:27:00 AM
I purchased this powder for the first time approximately 1 year ago(I still have some left!!), and being that I'm starting to run low finally, I went on a quest to purchase another loose powder. First, I went with Lancome's Absolu powder, which is the same price. It was a nice silkey powder, but the colors were really off! The "light" shade was SO dark! Next, I tried Elizabeth Arden Ceramide powder in Med. The color was just "off" for some reason, made me look kind of blah. Soooo, back to the Chanel counter!! This powder just has such a nice finish and the color is just right(#2)!! I top it with a nice dusting of Guerlain Meteorites in Beige Chic and it's perfection!!

Foundations -Revlon - ColorStay Mineral Mousse Makeup

I really love this foundation! I've been a devotee of Lancome Teint Idole Ultra for years but being I don't live near a mall, it was becoming kind of a drag to make a special trip for it(not to mention the 41.00 price tag). Being a Bisque 0 in Lancome, I use the med/deep in this. I use my Lancome foundation brush to apply it, and set it with Chanel translucent powder in #2(with an overlay of Guerlain metorites in Beige Chic). The finish is a beautiful airbrush quality and talk about oil control! I have super oily skin and this product puts Teint Idole Ultra to shame! My makeup looks perfect from 6am-6pm, no problem!
