Really like this foundation! My Chanel Teint Innocence compact foundation was discontinued, so I have been on the search and finally found this. I have VERY oily skin. Cream compact foundations that you apply with a sponge are my favorite and have always worked best for me. I see that some women on here are complaining that this foundation looks "cakey" or that they are running out too quickly. Ladies, if that is happening, you are using too much! I have had this compact for two months now and have barely made a dent in it. The coverage is great and you only need apply the very thinnest layer on your skin. I lightly dab the sponge in the foundation and spread/stipple a super-thin layer on my face. I do not need a primer with this foundation, because it evens me out and now my blush goes on perfectly smooth and lasts ALL DAY. That never used to happen with my other foundations. I can't believe that when I check my blush hours later, it is still there! Very happy now! Pleas note, this foundation is NOT a matte finish; it is a "Natural" finish and slightly "dewey." The less you use, the better it looks and performs. I wish it came in a matte finish, considering how very oily my skin is - but when appiled with a light hand, even ladies with oily skin can wear this. Also, since I am oily, I was scared to try a "hydro-liquid" formula, but again, apply very sparingly and you'll be okay. I really like my smooth, even skin now! Plus this does not break me out - in fact, my skin looks better! If Shiseido will make this in a matte finish, I will definitely buy it. If it was matte, I would have given it five stars.

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Juicy Tubes - Hallucination

I have been using this for years and still love it! There is absolutely nothing wrong with the smell of this gloss; I don't know why other reviewers brought that up. I really like the scent. Anyway, no other gloss gives me such a perfect, sultry nude lip as this does. I wear this gloss over a true nude/beige lipstick, with a pinky/nude lip liner and my lips become AMAZING!! I always get compliments on my lips. This gloss is pretty enough to wear by itself, if you want a subtle, natural gloss look. But if you want a glossy, nude lip - put this over nude lipstick and you'll be amazed!! Also, the tiny sparkles in this gloss are so refined, that you just get a natural, pretty glow. I don't like it when glosses have that severe, glitter look to them and this doesn't. It is the PERFECT gloss to complete your glossy nude lip look. Also, I can only get this color through the Lancome website. Some stores stock it, some don't.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Exact

I wish I tried this sooner!! I am in love and my search for the perfect mascara is over!! I have sparse, thin, straight lashes. I really have lost a lot of lashes since turning 40. I used Lancome mascara for years, but finally got tired of them drying out after one week's worth of use. Then I used Diorshow and Diorshow Unlimited for years, but they would clump and flake pretty quickly. All a waste of money and inferior quality. I recently wrote about Cover Girl Lash Blast Length (in the yellow tube). Good quality, better than department store mascara, but it only gave me a pretty, natural lash; not super voluminous - but still pretty gorgeous. My good friend has the most gorgeous lashes I've ever seen and I asked her what she uses and she uses Lash Exact. I thought she was blessed with naturally beautiful lashes and that I'd never get the same effect, but man was I wrong!! I finally tried Cover Girl Lash Exact and I CAN NOT BELIEVE these are my lashes!!! I can actually see them while standing far away from my mirror! This perfect mascara separates every lash I have and gives them volume and length. The application is flawless; it goes on so creamy smooth and zero flaking and zero smearing on my lower lids. I have very oily skin and this stays in place all day with no smearing. Also, it holds my curl ALL DAY! I have the shortest, straightest lashes ever and curling is a must and I love that it holds a strong curl all day. I can not say enough about this mascara!! I can't get over how much better the quality of the formula is compared to pricey department store mascaras. My lashes actually "fan out" now and look a little like false lashes, but not in a severe way - just gorgeous for day or night. I love my lashes now!! Try this mascara, it is amazing!!

Lip Liners -Chanel - Precision Lip Definer -Natural 34

The best lip liner...ever! This is the perfect pinky-nude color. It perfectly matches my lips with the tiniest bit more definition. This color defines my lips without giving them that harsh, severe line. It is goof-proof! I love a nude lip and this is the absolute best way to achieve them - hands down! Fantastic texture as well. Goes on smoothly and stays in place.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Length

This product really grew on me. I have very oily skin and this does not smear at all - ever after wearing all day. It doesn't flake, clump, or dry out either. This tube has lasted me a very long time. It does a fantastic job holding curl (even in humidity). When you put on one coat, it might seem too thin; not very voluminous. However, with two coats it becomes naturally gorgeous. I tend to layer different mascaras. I always use this as my basecoat mascara, because it does not clump and really lengthens and separates lashes. I recently started putting on 2 coats or more and not using my other "high end" brands anymore and I am getting more compliments on my eyes. I used to be a drugstore makeup snob - but this product has changed my mind.

Mascara -Chanel - Sculpting Mascara Extreme Length

Chanel's SCULPTE CILS MASCARA is the best kept secret in mascara!!!! I have the shortest, straightest, and very sparse eyelashes and this product is AMAZING. The formula never flakes and never smears throughout the day (and I have very oily skin all over). The brush is genious! It grabs and separates each and every lash, giving me lashes I didn't even know I had. If anyone writes a bad review on this, then something is wrong....trust me, trust me - this mascara is the best I have ever used. It lasts a very long time without drying out, so I feel I get my money's worth and it lengthens, separates, and thickens so much that I only need one coat. I think people think you need a huge brush (like Diorshow) when needing a high volume mascara, but the opposite is true. This skinny wand allows you to reach the base of your lashes and grab ALL of them. It doesn't take me a long time to do my lashes anymore thanks to this mascara. Thank you Chanel!!!

Powder -La Prairie - Cellular Treatment Foundation Powder

Amazing, Amazing product!! I have been a Chanel devotee for years, but when Chanel discontinued my Purete Mat Shine Control powder, I tried LaPrairie. I have the most oily skin on the planet and this is the first product I have ever used that stops my oily, shiny face. With other brands, I would have to touch-up 2 to 4 times a day. With this product, I don't have to touch up at all. After 5 or six hours, I might have to blot, but not much. You only need apply a small amount and it works so powerfully well. Other powder foundations are usually thick and make me look chalky. Not this one. Beautiful, natural finish. Normally, I have huge pores and this powder makes them disappear! I have never loved my skin before, but now I do - I can't believe how great this product is!! One other thing I have noticed is that it has improved my skin. I don't get breakouts anymore. My skin looks better and I know it is because of this product. The color selections are good too, compared to other brands. I have a pinkish tone to my skin and this line offers that color as well (love the Rose Beige) - so happy about that!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Painterly

I have been searching for a product like this for years!!! It is a miracle! I have very oily eyelids and this stops my shadow from creasing - and keeps the oil at bay. I have been living with creased eyeshadow lids for my whole life and now they finally stopped thanks to this amazing product!! You only need apply a super thin film to your lids, really barely any at all - and it works great; it even makes my wrinkles in my lids disappear and just smooths them out. My eyeshadows glide on smoothly now (they used to look sloppy, because I have wrinkles in my lids). I like my eyes now; this product changed everything for me!! I think it works better when you apply a very very thin layer to your lids as opposed to a heavy coat

Crème -Chanel - Teint Innocence Cream to Powder Compact Foundation

Love this foundation!! I have huge pores and it does not settle into them. It does not settle into my wrinkles either. If you find it does settle into your wrinkles, you are using too much! Great coverage without being cakey. It just glides onto the skin and the smallest amount goes a very long way; you only need apply a very thin film to your skin and the coverage is great! It is worth the price, because it is a fantastic formula it lasts a very long time. I have a naturally pinkish tone to my skin, so the color is use is Rose'. When you first apply it (again only a small amount) it may seem yellowish, but once you blend and the product dries, you see the true natural color that totally blends in with your skin...gorgeous!! Even though it is called "Cream to Powder" foundation, I still like to finish with a translucent powder - because on its own, it is not powdery - it is very subtle, so a finishing powder works great with it.
