I originally started using this with the kit but everything together was too harsh for my skin. I have acne prone skin that is sensitive and dry but a tiny bit of oil in the t-zone. I began using this during a particularly bad break out and within a week it cleared it up (still some red marks left but no bumps). On it's own it is not moisturizing enough so I use it with Murad Night Perfecting Cream. As time has gone on it has also made my skin more even toned and smooth. Worth the price in my opinion.

I really liked this until it started to break my skin out....badly. I had contacted Clinique customer support who assured me that this was non acnegenic (their terminology). I think they lied because the longer I used it the worse my skin got. Initialy I did love the way it made my skin look ( I have a light to medium complexion so I used shade 2). Aside from that you really had to rub it in and it had a tendancy to set into line and pores.

Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base

I've tried dozens of different primers, most of them expensive, and this one is honestly my favorite - I'm on my sixth jar. I found that a lot of them block my pores or leave my skin sticky or waxy. This one leaves my skin looking nice, shine free and velvety soft all day. It does not irritate my sensitive skin either.

I have sensitive skin that dries out in the winter but breaks out pretty easily. After reading all the great reviews I thought I would give this a try, especially considering how inexpensive this was. The first two weeks this was the greatest. My skin was hydrated and it looked great....then it began to break out badly. Sadly I had to stop using it but I'll keep it around for my dried out hands. Just a note: this has argan oil in it which turns out to be very comedegenic.

Skincare - Face -Avon - Anew Clinical Advanced Retexturizing Peel

These are great! I can't use manual scrubs on my face because my skin is too sensitive. I've tried other peels and so far I'd say these have worked the best. They definitely make my skin feel smoother and have helped with break outs. If I see a pimple forming and I use these it's gone the next morning. They can be drying though so I use them every third night and follow with a heavier moisturizer. Also, the product can take a while to dry so I just rub it in and that seems to do the trick. I don't think the price is that bad for these but I've been buying them off of ebay for a lot cheaper.

Not really a huge fan of this. I felt like I was putting a hair glossing product on my face. I'm not sure if it extended the life of my makeup or not but it make my face seem shinier and not in a good way.

I was excited to try this after the reviews but I should have done a little more research first. I've read in places that it helps heal acne but ironically, I found out that it is very comedogenic. I used it for about 2 nights and thought it was very sticky and almost a bit drying. By the third morning I noticed that my skin was breaking out (I know they say it takes 7 days but I wasn't using anything else new). Even after I stopped using it my skin felt sticky and looked it too. It took about a week for my skin to normal.

I love this stuff! I bought it to use as a night moisturizer but tried it out for day as well. It may be just because it's winter but my t zone didn't get oily or sticky like it does with other moisturizers. It leaves my skin soft with kind of a matte like finish and has not broken me out (most things do). $18 does seem a little pricey for a Kohl's product but when you consider that I only have to buy one instead two seperate moisturizers for day and night it's a bargain. And for those who complain that a jar is not hygenic just dip a q-tip in it instead of your finger.

Cleansers -mark - That's Deep Purifying Gel Cleanser

I absolutely love this face cleanser. I'm always searching for a great one and I've found it. My skin has definitely gotten clearer and brighter since I started using this a month ago. A couple of times a week I use an exfoliating cleanser and I've noticed my skin is more oily the next morning than it would be if I used That's Deep. I will definitely repurchase and have ordered more of the mark skincare items.

This stuff has been great for my skin type ( I have combination skin that can get rather oily and is quite breakout prone). I've been using this product for a couple of months now and has definitely decreased not only breakouts but the oiliness of my t-zone. It barely gets oily anymore and if I do get a pimple it disapears pretty quick. The only problem, if you can even say that, is that it hasn't really improved my blackheads yet. Those tend to be stubborn though.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals ALL

I have to admit the first time I used this foundation I thought it looked chalky but I used to light a shade. I decided to give it another try and I'm so glad I did. I can't tell how many people have told me that I have beautiful skin. My skin isn’t bad but I do have some redness and freckles making me a little blotchy. Also, while I would not say that this has helped my sensitive/combo/break-out prone skin it hasn't harmed it either. A TIP FOR THOSE WITH BREAK-OUT PRONE SKIN: Once a month not only clean the brush (clarifying shampoo will do the trick) but take a cotton ball with some alcohol and clean the lid and the shake out part. Constantly touching the brush to your face and back to lid causing bacteria to build up.

Foundations -Urban Decay - Surreal Skin Mineral Makeup

I've tried a few other mineral foundation (Bare Escentuals, Trish McEvoy, Sheer Cover) and so far I would say that this is the best and most natural of all of them. After reading other reviews on this site I decided that using the puff was not the best approach (I would have given it a 5 if not for the puff on top). Instead I removed the top and applied the powder with the Bare Escentuals Flawless Application Face Brush. Unlike some of the other mineral powders I got nice coverage without having to "build up" the product. I should also mention that I have sensitive, acne prone skin and so far I this has not caused any problems with my skin.

Cleansers -Olay - Daily Facials for Sensitive Skin

This is my favorite product by far! I have sensitive skin that breaks out very easily and for me this is the perfect cleanser. Not only do they feel incredibly soft when washing but your skin feels fantastic afterward. I use them both morning and evening and in the three years I've been using them they have never caused any problems with my skin. I initially tried them on my honeymoon because they seemed like a good item to travel with. A few days into our trip my skin looked great and immediately wished I tried them before my wedding! I've tried a couple of other facial cleansers but have always gone right back to these.

I love this product! I have had a problem with cystic acne since my early twenties and this is the only spot treatment that has ever worked. I have used various products that have kept my skin mostly clear but every once in a while a cystic pimple will appear and I have to suffer through it, sometimes for weeks. This reduces the pimple over night and clears it up within a couple of days. I only gave it 4 stars because it's only so-so for regular pimples but it is a definite 5 star for cystic ones. Just a side note, it works best when applied with your fingertip and not a cotton ball or q-tip.
