Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"

Oh my God these shadows are ridiculously fantastic! Absolutely love this palette, all eye combinations look fantastic on my green eyes, especially anything with the bronze-y eyelid colour, an absolutely stunning colour. So buttery and smooth. Definitely want to try others like Walking on Eggshells and Knock on Wood, especially for this price. Love it.

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast Volume
abipk 6/3/2012 8:08:00 PM
This is an ok mascara if you don't like a lot of volume. But this is supposed to make your lashes very thick, and I found I had to apply a couple coats and work pretty hard to get my lashes like that. Don't like the smell, smells like wall paint. I like the packaging, I've heard bad things about Cover Girl mascara and how these wands are hard to manoeuvre, but I had no issue. I liked the brush. I liked that it came off easily with water, if I got it on my eyelid by accident I wouldn't have to get a Q-tip and makeup remover, I could just wet my finger and it came off easily. A little stiff, and I find myself picking it off at the end of the day, like I always do with stiffer mascaras, but that's just me. Overall, it has alright volume that's buildable, but nothing very special.

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Bouncy Blush
abipk 6/3/2012 8:02:00 PM
I quite like this blush. I've just started really getting into blushes and I wanted a more summery colour than my everyday powder blush, and I liked the colour Hot Tamale, which I believe was one of the brightest shades. I was a little nervous that the colour would be too bright for my fair skin (NC15-20) but it sheered out nicely and is a nice summery flush. Really smooth and cool feeling blush, very soft. Plan on getting it in the plum shade for the autumn. Not a big fan of the packaging, looks kind of childish, and I like more classic packaging, like Revlon for example. Not tons of product for the price, but I don't see myself using it up overly fast though, since you don't need a lot of product.

Fragrances -Aquolina - Pink Sugar
abipk 4/22/2012 12:46:00 PM
Loved it in the store, but at home to me it smelled almost spicy. I had a friend sniff it who normally wears Pink Sugar, and she said it smelled like it should: sweet and sugary. Gave it to her. I guess it just didn't work with my body chemistry.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara
abipk 3/24/2012 9:07:00 PM
I wrote a review when I first got it, and didn't like it, but now I've warmed up to the mascara. For years I had been using Clinique High Impact Mascara and absolutely loved it! I decided I needed to spend a little less on mascara though, and heard good reviews about this one. Didn't like it at first, seemed a little gummy even after a couple hours, like you could rub your eye and it would all smudge. I wasn't used to it, but now I can build it up to the thickness I like, and I like it better than Clinique's I think because it doesn't leave my lashes stiff, they feel softer, and I don't find myself picking off mascara at the end of the day. A little hard to remove, I liked that High Impact came off with just a gentle cleanser, but this actually needs makeup remover and a bit of time to get it all off.

Lips -Joe Fresh Style - Lip Stain in Apple
abipk 3/22/2012 10:34:00 PM
Love this lipstain! It's my favourite from Joe Fresh, because it's a nice bright pink that goes with everything when you're not quite sure what lip colour to wear. Unlike things I've heard about other lipstains, I've had this one for 7 months and it has yet to dry out. Granted, I don't use it everyday, but it hasn't dried out in a week like I've heard people say about the Cover Girl lipstains. Great lipstain, nice packaging, nice low price. Can't go wrong with it.

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara
abipk 3/22/2012 10:23:00 PM
I've used this mascara for years, starting out with the samples my mum would get from the gift with purchase and as I got older eventually breaking down and buying the full size. I absolutely love this mascara, but I recently decided to branch out and see if I could find one that I love equally for a lower price. I have light brown/blond lashes and the mascara really makes them defined, longer, and you can build it up to make it clumpy if you like. The formula isn't watery, and lasts me a long time. Overall a great mascara! If I don't find a lower priced mascara I like, I'm definitely going back to Clinique.

Blush -E.L.F. - Studio Blush Tickled Pink
abipk 3/2/2012 12:34:00 AM
Great beginner blush, a nice everyday pink. I'm very pale and it adds a nice bit of colour to my complexion, and at $3, I will definitely repurchase. I find I need to load up my brush a couple times, so you don't need to be lighthanded with this blush. I thought it might be a good low price dupe for MAC's Well Dressed, but when looking at Tickled Pink swatched next to WD, it looked like a yellow pink, almost. Interesting, but I definitely like it. Not tons of staying power, but lasts a couple hours.

Lips -Tarte - LipSurgence Natural Matte Lip Stain in Lively
abipk 3/2/2012 12:31:00 AM
I love this lip stain! I'm rather pale and it's a beautiful colour on. It's very pigmented and lasts me a good 7-8 hours without touchups, and at that point it looks rather fresh, and this had been with a bit of careful eating and drinking. Doesn't feather at all or dry lips out. Not sure it lives up to 6000% more moisture claim, but it definitely doesn't leave your lips feeling dry. I'd apply a light balm before applying though just to smooth out your lips, like one would before any lip colour, really. Overall, it's a great product, it looks like it will last a while for it's price. It's not a HG product, it's bright and a bit dark for everyday wear, so I'll wear it once every one or two weeks. A kind of menthol-minty taste that tingles the lips a bit, kind of like the Bigelow lip glosses from Bath and Body Works. (I believe those are the ones I'm thinking of.) Beautiful colour, long lasting.

Lip Gloss -Joe Fresh Style - Sheer Lip Crayon
abipk 3/2/2012 12:25:00 AM
I have the lip crayon in berry, a very pretty sheer shade on the lips that looks rather natural. It's nice and moisturising on the lips, and it lasted a fair amount of time. The cons I have with this are that it's a little messy to sharpen, unlike a Tarte crayon that you twist up and when I rubbed my lips together, the colour wasn't overly even when looked at closely, because it had moved around a bit, but since it's sheer it isn't noticeable. I got it for a dollar-fifty on sale, so for that price I think it was worth it, but for the full price I might not repurchase this specific one, but perhaps try a matte one in hopes of finding a low-price dupe for Nars or Tarte crayons.

Lip Treatments -Fresh - Sugar Rose Lip Treatment SPF 15
abipk 3/2/2012 12:20:00 AM
I received this as my Beauty Insider birthday gift from Sephora and I love the packaging and the scent, and it feels smooth on my lips. Can't say I'll buy it again though, the price is rather steep for a product you could get for maybe four dollars, like Softlips or something.
