as a foundation FOR ME it sucked! the coverage is full which i usually love but this was cakey. not only is it cakey but it made me break out :( in order to use it up since i bought it ..im using it as a concealor and it works..but i do it for everyday..if i want pictures taken, im probably gonna use another concealor like studio sculpt.. i wouldnt recomend it.. im a nc 42, brown hair.
a little about me. im a NC 42 at mac. brown hair, brown eyes, i get heartburn after eating spicy foods lolol jk but i got the Nectar color. it comes with a blush color on one side and the sculpting bronzer on the other side. Problem 1. Both products are SO horribly pigmented. it takes me 1 minutes of rubbing into the product for some color on my brush. But i guess its cuz i have a darker skin tone, but i mean seriously the pigment sucks. and then because it sucks, i have to add a lot of layers to my face and it makes it look cakey.. even if i dont wear foundation. Problem 2: so the bronzer and blush are right next to each other! its intended to be used as a ONE SWEEP (hence the name) but thats so unrealistic because i have to rub the frigin product to get some pay off lol but its just a dumb idea. i jsut loved the color of the blush and now im upset because there were other blushes i was excited about getting. :(
Hoola from benefit is a beautiful color and it is matte! perfect right!? it is! but just for 28 dollars and little product, i find it to be too expensive...NYC has a bronzer that is a little similiar to this so thats where ill be getting my bronzer. i just wish it wasnt so god darn expensive. this isnt a surgery, its just powder for 28 bucks. but if you have the money, definitely get it! youll love it. im a NC 42 so its just a subtle contour in my first application but its definitely buildable ! BUY IT....if your rich
Highlighters -MAC - Iridescent Powder - Belightful
abcang123 8/10/2011 4:14:00 AM
Belightful looks SO pretty in the packaging so i thought it would look beautiful sitting on my cheekbones. ....wrong. i got this in the "Girls Next Door" package from MAC and was excited to use it but it is just glitter. i suppose it is good for a dust of glitter over eyeshadow but there are cheaper alternatives. for a eyeshadow in that size, its silly. so as a intended highlighter, it sucks. If you want a highlighter.. just buy grand entrance eye shadow and put it on your cheekbones. like seriously this product stinks (not literally) the point is...don't buy it.
Pros: Its pretty Lots of shades to choose from Light to medium coverage Cons: No pump, which means it is really hard to get the product out of the packaging. If they can get a glass bottle, spend a little extra for the pump please! Greasy texture so oily skins may no react well to it The two shades i got, 220 and 225 are horrible matches. One is too pink, the other too yellow and too light :/ Overall: I would not buy it again and i hate having to wear it so it'll finish! why did i buy two of them!?
the first time I bought this, matching the color was hard because there was shimmer in it and it made the colors look lighter. I picked up 05 but it was too light. after 6 months of using it maybe once a week, I decided to pick up a darker shade, i got 08. Still too light. What ive come to realize is the shimmer just makes your skin look lighter and brighter i suppose. For the Pros and Cons Pros: The pump is BRILLIANT! if revlon can have a pump, then ANYONE can! no excuses! maybe one and a half pumps get the job done! The shimmer in it creates a dewy look, perfect for someone who has dry skin and needs a little bit of luminosity There is an SPF of 15 so it'll be great for everyday make up. Cons: The shimmer in this foundation may be overwhelming in sun light! Also, people with oily skin will look EXTREMELY shiny in an hour. The color choices, though there are many, just never seem to match! :/ Despite the name "Photoready" the fouundation acutally does not look great it FLASH photography. It casts a white shadow of ur face, from the SPF. The coverage is not great, a light coverage..i would say medium but it just evens out skin tone, doesnt cover blemishes at all. Overall: I obviously bought two so i suppose it is worth the money but I perfer Revlon Color Stay.
I hated this product at first. all the commercials just made me want to buy it so i gave in. the formula was too liquidy and made smudges everywhere. i gave up on it after a week and bought something else. after 3 months of collecting over 10 mascars i was layering mascaras and i came across this one. i think the blackness of it really makes my brown eyes pop and the formula dried out a little and it worked GREAT! i think like colassal, you need to let the mascara dry out a little so it works better. i like it now tho, i will consider buying another on in the future, maybe waterproof maybe brown, but probably not the EXACT one i bought. im open for something new
really love this! Pros: Full coverage super blendable! cheap natural finish Cons: really thick no pump so my jar is soo messy no much color options, i got 2, one is too pinky ..the other was 2 shades too dark looks horrible/cakey in photos I really love this as an every day foundation. i dont need much coverage but i love full coverage. it just makes me look really flawless and healthy. i use the daarker one and it looks great! i would recomend this for sure! despite the cons, i love it. it just pays off so well
LOVE THIS! Pros: Full coverage Natural-Matte finish...not dewy thank god! i dont like dewey cheap lots of shades stays on pretty well blendable i love it! :p Cons: dries too fast!! too liquidy no pump looks like your wearing make up...but i dont have a problem with that :p i know theres ppl that do tho, so consider it My advice for using this so you love it just as much as i do, take a little and pour it on the back of your hand. take a stippling brush...dab it in and work on one part of your face at a time!! this will make u look amazing!
Lipstick -L'Oreal - Infallible Never Fail Lipstick

I really wanted to LOVE this but....unfortunately it has a huge flaw. I saw great reviews for it so i thot to give it a try. I got the beyonce red, the color was fantastic! looked soo great with my skin. the instructions say to put the color on and let it dry for 2 minutes so i did then i applied the moisturizing side. for the first 5 minutes of me wearing it and god forbid i laugh, my lipstick is peeling! like its cracks ! can u believe it?? The lipstick just really just a horrible formula! i would rather apply lipstick and have it transfer to all my white clothes then have this lipstick on for more than 3 minutes. i cannot stand the cracking. its like opi black shatter....but on your lips. dont buy. for the sake of humanity.
I bought this at walmart after seeing it only cost 3 DOLLARS! THREE!! 3! only three dollars and it claims it makes you "look 100% poreless" with "Vitamins A & E". "Fragrance free and dematologist tested". it is also :lightweight for a clean, fresh finish" now for the truth. this comes in a class bottle. the cap of it actually comes with a neat spatula on it so u get the RIGHT amount of foundation. though it isnt a pump, its the next best thing. the formula is SOOOOOOO thick, like it doesnt run. the spatula in the cap actually has holes in it and the foundation doesnt run ! how crazy huh? anyways the blends well, its actually makes pores almost invisible! its is about a medium - full coverage. no smell. It however is NOT lightweight. it feels extremely heavy on my skin, and looks a tad cakey. no natural finish here. and the staying power is pathetic. maybe after 2 hours, im seeing patches gone, oils seeping from my nose...consider that i have dry skin lol. anyways i play on getting it maybe in the future since it is 3 dollars. maybe this is going to be my grocery shopping foundation haha
I really like this scrub! The packaging is really smart. I got this tube one and the one in a tub. The tube is SO much better because in the tub water always collects on top of the product when I use it. go for the tube! it exfoliates my skin sooo well! during winter i had the worst dry patches and i just exfoliated this twice a week and viola, my skin looked great. there isnt a strong smell, not to me anyways. it feels really coarse and hard but it gets the job done. i actually like the feeling, people with sensitve skin might not like it though
