I so love this product. I have been using it everyday as a blush and lipstain since I got it. The color as described is a beautiful coral and when applied on the cheeks it gives my fair/medium skin a nice glow that literally lasts all day long. I have about 40 blushes in my makeup collection from drugstore to high end so I know my blushes! This stuff really delivers. I apply it after foundation, put about 4 dots on my cheeks and use a stipling brush to spread and blend it. For lips I also put a few dots and then spread with my pinky finger. A peach gloss perfects the look.
Lipstick -Clinique - Long last Lipstick - Bamboo Pink

I am surprised by the great reviews. This color looks like death on me. It's a brown base with a frost that I supposed could be pink on some. If you're fair skinned with dark hair, be wary of this color even if it's gwp.
This is my HG eyeliner. I have used up 3 tubes and since it is now discontinued, have scoured every MAC and CCO I come across in the hopes of getting more backups. This formulation will last through tears, rain, humidity, oily skin, pool water, everything! Won't come off until you use an oil based eye makeup remover. Beautiful golden khaki color that really compliments brown eyed girls. I usually use this for my lower lash line since I don't like the harsh look that black gives me. I then use the black liquidlast for my upper lash line. Really nice combination. I hope MAC brings this back. If you find it, definitely give it a try.
I went to the pre-launch party and stayed late to buy this and am so glad I did. The coral color is very pigmented for my fair skin so I only use it with the 187. I didn't care for the gold overspray and just wiped it off with a tissue. There is no gold underneath that top layer and the resulting colors are mostly matte. The best color effect I've found is to apply the coral side first and then pick up the pink with a smaller brush for a sheer wash of color above the coral. The effect is glowy and beautiful. I am a blush addict and this latest addition is going to be my summer favorite. Get it while you can, it's already sold out in my area and online.
Loose Powders -E.L.F. - Studio High Definition Powder

I got this for 50% off so the price was amazing for 3 bucks. This is like the mufe HD powder but ten times better in my opinion. It has silica but also dimethicone which provides a smooth surface. It comes in a sturdy black container with a big puff inside that is totally usable. There's also a sifter to keep the powder from being too messy. I am finding this to be as effective for me as mac blot and is not too ashy for my fair skin. I use the fyrinnae silica gel as a primer with liquid foundation and then this as a setting powder by using the puff and then blending with a big fluffy brush. My skin is flawless for hours longer than without the two silica products. ELF is starting to really impress me with their studio products. A definite recommend.
Moisturizers -Kinerase - Clear Skin Moisture Light [DISCONTINUED]
abbybaby 8/16/2009 9:45:00 AM
I've searched years for the right moisturizer for my sensitive and finicky skin. My main criteria was to find something that was not only oil free but also silicone free since those ingredients tend to break me out. This moisturizer is light yet effective.
Wow - I love this little bargain. It is a decent size gloss with a mirror on the tube for application convenience. The color is a straight peach with micro gold tone. I wear it on top of nars barbarella with super o blush and the effect is just gorgeous. The consistency is not too thick or sticky with nice pigmentation. Scoop these up if you see them!
I went to sephora as soon as I got the email about the free sample of this new matte foundation powder. I've been waiting for this from BE for months now. My normal color in BE is fairly light and that is what I chose as my sample. In the pot the color looks a little darker and slightly more yellow than the traditional fairly light. However, when I buffed it on it did not seem darker and actually provided a nice color match for my skin. BTW, I also use EDM buff light neutral and buff fairly light neutral. So back to the product, it does indeed provide a matte finish and is a nice change from the shiny look of the old BE. It gives medium buildable coverage and I would say is comparable to the EDM matte formulation. The thing I'm really excited about this product is that is has the rareminerals in it. We'll see over time if it will really make a difference in my skin. Overall this is a winner from BE. I will definitely purchase the full size when it is available.
Primer/ Corrector -Fyrinnae - Velvet-Gel Silica Primer

This is hands down the best primer I've ever used. You do have to be careful in applying it though since a little goes a long way. Applying the gel by itself may cause cakiness if you use too much. Here's my trick - I mix a pea size amount with my moisturizer and it provides the perfect spread with perfect mattifying properties. I hope they never discontinue this beauty.
Lotions/ Creams -Thierry Mugler - Angel- Voile Celeste Celestial Body Lotion
abbybaby 4/5/2009 7:58:00 AM
I actually really like the original angel edp fragrance and thought this would be a no brainer to compliment it. The fragrance in this lotion is not at all like the original angel, there's something very metallic about it and it gave me an instant migraine that lasted all day. If you are considering this definitely get a sample to see how your body chemistry reacts to it. The bottle also leaves much to be desired, it just looks cheap in my opinion.
I have been looking for a beautiful pink flush stain for years and have tried every stain out there to achieve this look. This stain instantly brightens up your face but is not the obvious dark red or fuschia color that other stains leave behind. I only use this for my lips but it's a great base under clear gloss or to make any other lipstick/lipgloss more rosy in color. My HG stain for sure!
Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation
abbybaby 11/1/2008 1:51:00 PM
Since this was such a hyped product I caved in and purchased what I believed to be a perfect color match (120). However, during the two weeks I used this I noticed breakouts I normally don't get and it wasn't TTOM. When I stopped using the foundation my skin cleared up. As for the foundation itself, I would not recommend it for oily skin gals and definitely not for acne prone. Since there is a high amount of silicone in it the coverage is good but it does tend to separate by the end of the day.
I am a blush junkie and have about 20 blushes now. Since I purchased Dainty I've been using it everyday. It provides such a luminous peachy/pink glow that is just gorgeous! No glittery chunks - just healthy glow that doesn't accentuate my pores.
This dazzleglass is a beautiful berry color with berry and gold sparkles. Very pigmented and since some of the sparkles are in the same tonal family, when it wears off it still leaves a nice color. Moisturizes my lips and looks great with afterdusk blush.
This is a surprisingly wearable and natural color for a longwear formula. It shows up as a peach color and nicely mlbb on my fair-medium skin tone. Didn't flake or dry up my lips since I used the gloss through out the day.
