Pressed Powders -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Powder

Love this consistency of this powder, its formulated not only to match your skin tone but your skin texture, and it does. The only annoying part is the compact is split up with the powder on the top and the sponge and mirror on the bottom, which is annoying when using the mirror to apply. Other than that, I love it!
I cant believe it took me so long to try this mascara. Everyone on MUA raves about Voluminous but for some reason I never picked it up and gave it a shot. Well, I finally did and let me tell you that I will never use another mascara again. The brush is the perfect size, the mascara is the perfect consistancy, and it works to give me natural looking lashes or big dramatic ones. Amazing!!
I love the fact that you can use this with a brush for a precise line or smudge it on with your finger for a smoky look, plus you can put in on your inner rims with a brush and it stays put (big problem for me). I also love the little jar it comes in. I wore it to a concert last night (dancing, sweating, screaming, watery eyes from the smoke) and it looked the same when I left as it did when I got there. Definately recommend this one!
Pressed Powders -Cover Girl - TruBlend Pressed Powder

Saw this at CVS and decided to pick it up because I always wanted to try TruBlend foundation but I dont wear foundation (usually just concealer and a moderate coverage powder). It was $7.50 (not so bad) and has a really cute compact, but I dont like the applicator that comes with it (one of those cheap, thin, poor quality sponge things with a hard piece of material on one side). However, the powder itself has great coverage (not too much, not too little) and blended perfectly with the concealer I applied under my eyes (didnt look cakey at all) and felt very light (like a second skin). Plus it didnt smell funny like most CG powders do. Overall, I'm please except for the applicator, but I can always run out and buy 20 sponges for 99 cents! I'll definately buy again!
Treatments -Paula's Choice - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Lotion Exfoliant

I had teeny tiny blackheads all over my nose, so the girls on the board reccommended 2% BHA lotion. Well this lotion cleared them right up! I was amazed. However, it dried my skin out like a prune. I have extremely dry skin anyway, but now I was flaking and itching. I definately reccommend if you dont have really dry skin, or try jojoba oil, which I've been told is supposed to counteract the dryness. Probably won't buy again.
I love this makeup! I have super dry skin and I dont really need lots of coverage, but I like to have a little something on it throughout the day. The stuff is really moisturizing AND has an SPF of 15, so I dont even need my moisturizer under it. Plus, it has great coverage (more than a t.m. but not as much as a regular liquid foundation). I would definately buy again and recommend to a friend!
I swapped for this, so I'm not sure of the actual price of the product, but from what I heard its not cheap but not ridiculously expensive. I know that this didnt get great reviews (because of smudging and the abnormally large brush size) but a friend recommended it so I decided to try it and fell in love. While the brush is very large, its not impossible to manuver. One coat gives you a natural look and the more layers, the more dramatic (I like em super thick and super long). I personally didn't have a problem with smudging and may just have found my new HG mascara. Would absolutely buy again!
The thing that drew me to this powder was that it has an SPF of 15. I dont like to wear foundation and I find that wearing a seperate moisturizer makes powder change colors and get slimy. This powder is priced right, has great coverage and moderate staying power. However, it kinda of sits on my skin so when you look closely its verrrry obvious that I'm wearing makeup and really looks like I'm wearing a lot more than I am. Also, I dont have very sensitive skin and I'm not prone to breakouts but I think this powder might be aggrivating my skin (whether creating new breakouts or irritating existing ones). Either way, I don't hate this powder, but I probably wont buy it again.
Lotions/ Creams -Olay - Moisturinse in shower body lotion-extra dry skin

I got this in Walgreens on sale for $2.99. Took it home and had to try it immediately. Its like conditioner for your skin.. First you use your regular body wash, rinse, then apply this stuff like lotion and then rinse it off. And it really does make a huge difference! My skin felt silky, soft and so smooth after I used it.
Mascara -Maybelline - XXL volume+length microfiber mascara

Its not that I didn't like this product, it just wasn't what I expected. I read some great reviews and some not so great reviews so I decided to try it out. Basically, I thought the packaging was cute and it did give me legnth, but no more than your average mascara. I don't hate it, but I probably won't buy it again.
I love the color of this. It looks a little intimidating in the package (like a BRIGHT pink-orange), but it goes on sheer and looks like a gorgeous healthy glow.

Made my face luminous. I looked well-rested (even though I wasn't) .. and like I spent a day in the sun (even though I hadn't). Would definatly buy again but I can't find it anywhere. So I've tried to swap for it .. but so far I've only gotten samples. A great buy .. worth every penny!
