Gave me really bad dry lips. Like the cracked and bleeding kind.
I was really looking forward to this scent because of the lemon and wildflower notes but I just can't stand it. Country Chic smells like cheap perfume or potpourri. The intial scent is lemony and fresh but almost instantly, it dries into this putrid cheap smell. I disagree with the other reviewers that compare CC with Light Blue or Pink's Clean and Fresh. I love those scents and do not see any comparison. CC sort of reminds me of BBW's Carried Away, just less sweet and more perfumey.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - PINK With a Splash Pretty & Pure
Zevie 11/28/2010 6:25:00 PM
I fell in love with Pink Fresh and Clean because of the lovely scent and lasting power. I picked up a set with four mini body sprays to test the rest of the collection. Unfortunately, I don't like Pretty & Pure. To me, it smells like hairspray. The alcohol never seems to fade from this scent and the pink lemonade and jasmine remind me of perfume. I'm not impressed with the lasting power either. However, several of my friends smelled this one and really liked it. Just not for me, I guess. I gave it a three because it doesn't smell complete awful, just too much like alcohol.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Beauty Rush Gloss -all
Zevie 10/25/2010 10:55:00 AM
I'm a sucker for cute packaging, sweet flavors, and bright colors so I had to try these lip glosses. Sadly, I hated them. They taste/smell very nice and look great on my lips. The problem is that they are just way to sticky. I normally don't mind a good, sticky gloss but Beauty Rush glosses take sticky to a whole new meaning. I felt like I was wearing glue on my lips.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Pink with a Splash FRESH & CLEAN

I love Fresh and Clean. It smells like the name says, very fresh and clean. I don't smell apple or lily, but it smells nice. The best part about this fragrance is that it lasts for hours. Most body sprays (and a lot of EDTs) do not last at all on me. This one, especially with the matching lotion makes me smell wonderful most of the day. Great scent!
Conditioner -TiGi - Bedhead Moisture Maniac Conditioner
Zevie 10/18/2010 2:58:00 PM
I love moisture maniac. I would give it a 5 but I knocked one point off because it's not that moisturizing. I have oily roots and dry ends and this product (with the matching shampoo) leaves my scalp clean and my ends moisturized. It's just not super moisturizing like the name would have you believe. I bought the conditioner for $12-13 at Costco for 25 ounces and would buy again at that price. It comes in a very convenient pump bottle. The smell is nice and leaves my hair looking and feeling great.
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)
Zevie 9/19/2010 11:19:00 AM
I received a one ounce sample of this cleanser and have been using it on and off for over a month. I have oily, acne-prone (but mostly clear, if I'm careful) skin. My skin is sensitive and I'm very prone to eczema patches. In a cleanser, I need something gentle that also removes the oily and leaves my skin feelings clean. Purity isn't bad. It's very gentle and leaves my skin soft. It doesn't remove makeup at all though. It didn't irritate my skin or break me out. I'm still not that impressed though. For such an expensive product, I hoped it would wow me. I've tried several drug store cleansers that work as well. I would theoretically buy this product again if I had more money though. I like the bottle and the product does perform well. It's just not as fantastic as the price tag wants you to believe.
I never got to smell Moonlight Magic while it was in the regular stores but I tried it in the bath and body outlet since it's been discontinued. I heard that bath and body plans to rerelease this scent under the name Secret Wonderland, so I figured I'd try it since the scent will be staying around for awhile under the new name. I read reviews that said MM says like berries and not at all like moonlight path, which I hate, so I was excited. Unfortunately, MM smells a lot like moonlight path. It's lighter and sweeter but I can still smell the powdery scent of moonlight path. If you dislike moonlight path, I imagine you'll hate this as well.
Lips -Bath and Body Works - Liplicious Marble Gloss Strawberry Cup Cake
Zevie 8/12/2010 5:16:00 PM
I had to create a listing for this product because I love it so much! Strawberry Cupcake is Bath and Body's new addition to the Liplicious line. There are three other glosses in the cupcake line, red velvet, coconut, and cookies and creme. I tried all four and strawberry cupcake is the best. In fact, it's the best gloss that I have ever use. First of all, it smells and tastes like strawberry cake. It smells just like a cake getting out of the oven. It's so delicious. I love sweet smelling/tasting glosses but I have never used one that smelled as good and as realistic. The gloss is also a really pretty medium pink color. It's just enough color on my lips. Very pretty. No glitter either. The gloss is really moisturizing and lasts on my lips for a few hours. Go try this gloss! It's the best smelling/tasting one ever.
Gels/Soaps -Philosophy - Vanilla Birthday Cake 3-in-1
Zevie 8/12/2010 5:09:00 PM
This smells more like wedding cake than birthday cake, since there is a coconut note in it. It smells nice, sweet and cake like. The scent, however, is really weak and I can only smell it when I put my nose up to the bottle or the lather on my puff. It performs well though as a shower gel. It's okay as a shampoo too although it's a bad bubble bath. I actually like the smell a lot even if it is weak and would possible repurchase.
Falling in Love has notes of raspberries and cotton candy. Since I just love sweet perfumes, I couldn't see how I'd dislike this. But sadly, I can't stand this perfume. There is some note in it that makes it smell sharp and metallic, sort of like blood. Also, this perfume has no lasting power. I'd recommend Unconditional Love instead, which has some of the same notes, but smells better and lasts a few hours at least.
Treatments -L'Oreal - Everstrong Overnight Repair Treatment
Zevie 8/12/2010 5:04:00 PM
I've been using this product for about two weeks now and I love it! I apply about two pumps to the end of my hair every night and after a week, I saw an improvement in my hair. It looks less damaged, feels softer, and looks healthier. It also frizzes less and looks just better all around. It really does sink into your hair after a few minutes so you won't get residue on your pillow. Unlike what one of the other reviewers said, I've used mine almost every night for two weeks and I still have plenty left. My only complaint is that I hate the smell with a passion. It reminds me of some old, gross perfume that I can't remember the name of. However, the smell is gone after about half an hour, so it's a small price to pay for gorgeous hair. Try this product!
I bought both Unconditional Love and Falling in Love in the smaller sizes in order to try them out. I kept hearing that they were really similar scents but that's not my experience at all. I didn't like Falling in Love but I love Unconditional Love. It's light and unoffensive, which is great because my allergies can't tolerate heavier perfumes. The perfume is sort of lemony and sweet with berry and cotton candy notes. To me, it smells like a more grown-up version of Falling in Love. My only complaint that the lasting power isn't that great. Otherwise, it's a pretty perfume that's appropriate for many occasions.
Gels/Soaps -Philosophy - Strawberry Ice Cream 3-in-1
Zevie 8/9/2010 5:05:00 PM
Smells identical to strawberry milkshake. It's an artificial strawberry scent with some creamyness- just like a fast food strawberry milkshake. It moisturizes well, smells good, and leaves my skin really soft. I love using this as a shower gel. This isn't the best shampoo in the world but it's fine as long as I condition well afterwards. Unfortunately, like all philosophy 3 in 1s, it sucks as a bubble bath. But if you're in the market for a dessert smelling body wash, this is a great one.
I love New York and Company. Whenever I need something professional for work, I can go here and get something that fits well and is very affordable. They have great sales and their clothing quality is pretty good. My only complaint is that, other than their wear-to-work basics, most of their clothes are pretty ugly. However, if you need something basic for work, go here. I have numerous pairs of pants, tshirts, and cardigans from here that have all held up well in the wash and nothing cost me more than $20.
