the most beautiful red ever! this polish looks amazing, especially under artificial lighting which makes it even prettier. goes extremely well with cool skin tones. however, it is very prone to chipping.
Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Berdoues Violettes de Toulouse
Zeljana 8/25/2007 12:09:00 PM
I bought this during my trip last year, passing through the Toulouse region, more as a souvenire than a wearable fragrance. However, I grew to like it. It's pure violet, green and sweet and just a tad powdery. I like to wear this in spring, on those days of sun after a week of rain. In a strange way it reminds me of my grandma who loved violets, so I guess this is more a personal thing to me. I love them too, even though this one misses the dark violet note that some other perfumes bring out better. If you're a fan of violet scents, this is a must have.
My skin is very sensitive in the cold weather and it took me a while to find a suitable cream to soothe it. This one does it just great. Irritation, itchying and redness is gone in 10 minutes after applying.
this is just great. I use it in the morning, before make up, after putting on make up to give my skin a more natural look and after removing make up. Thermal water is a way to go to refresh myself in the summer and to soothe my sensitive skin in cold weather. I always wear a 50ml spray in my handbag.
Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Olive Oil

I am lucky to have some family members produce olive oil from their small plantation here in Croatia. The oil is of excellent quality and I use it for various purposes, as a base oil, for hair treatments, masks etc.
This one is a surprise. I'm not a fan of citrus fragrances, or fruity at all. But the moment I sprayed this on my wrist I wanted to have it. I have a soft spot for Guerlains, but this is fragrance is really nice no matter the name.
Foundations -Bourjois - Plus Que Parfait, Matte Finish Foundation
Zeljana 1/9/2006 11:26:00 AM
I tend to have difficulties in finding a foundation that really matches my skintone. This one does it just fine (the lightest one, 11 Opal Parfait). I would like it even more it offered just a little more coverage, but if the price for it would be a heavier foundation, I'd rather stick to this one. I can hardly feel it on my skin at all. It's smooth, leaves my skin velvety and doesn't make it oily or dry. Perfect for combination skin.
when I sprayed it on my wrist it was heaven, woodsy, spicy just a hint of sweetness. but the drydown was disappointing, spices and sweet note that reminds me of chocolate - which I would like, but it's very very flat. omnia has not much of a staying power, you can feel it after a few hours but it's very weak.
Fragrances -Calvin Klein - Obsession Night for women

Liked this on the paper strip, on my skin it's obsession layered with very cheap sweet scent that makes me nauseus. smells like cheap deo spray.
Fragrances -Giorgio Armani - Acqua di Gio (for women)

This is an amazing fragrance. It reminds me of the sea, hyacinths and lilacs after rain and cold stone. Very fresh.
I gave it three lippies because of the nice bottle. the fragrance is not very original, no lasting power at all. this smells a little bit like a bathroom cleaner, but a nice one ;).
fist ten minutes and this fragrance is divine. raspberry and pepper. very hot. drydown is also nice but there is a hint of bitterness here that I don't like. for that and for the ugly bottle i took away a lippie.
Some of the reviewers here once stated that YSL's Nu, and DKNY Black Cashmere are a mismarketed products that should have been presented as men's fragrances. Nomadic Him is a very similar scent, boldly oriental (citrus and ginger oil, labdanum, cistus, musk and patchouli). I consider it to be unisex, although some may argue. it's very sexy and extremely well made.
Oriflame is a Swedish direct sales brand that uses only natural ingredients that are not tested on animals and no animal ingredients at all. They have a wide range of fragrances and while I liked some (e.g. Freya), their latest fragrance, Nomadic Her swept me off my feet. It's a warm, rich oriental, in the best tradition of Chopard's Casmir, Sergio Soldano's Atelier and there something of Kingdom's drydown in this one, but it cannot actually be compared to any of these fragrances. It starts off with a burst of warm citrus, then moves to jasmine and frankincense notes and dries down to cedarwood and musk. The name fits it well, the way all the ingredients, coming from all the different places on Earth combine together in a blend that is amazing. My only complain is that they (so far) don't make it in EDP, only EDT edition.
