This zinc & sulphur mask by Faces European Skincare is my favorite! It is a lot like the blemish mask from Joey NY, except it does not have camphor. I feel like it is effective on acne without drying the skin.

Moisturizers -MyChelle - Mychelle Night Revitalizing Cream *NEW*

Wow, I am surprised by the negative reviews. This night cream is moisturizing but not too heavy and unlike a previous reviewer, I think the scent is very subtle. I tried a lot of products from the MyChelle line and this is one of two that I repurchased. In fact, this is the only night cream I have ever repurchased. I think it makes my skin look healthier and it doesn't irritate my skin, which I have learned is quite sensitive. I just have to be careful around the eyes because it is too moisturizing - it will make them puff up if I put too much on. If you like the MyChelle line, I would say don't let the couple of negative reviews keep you from trying this. By the way, I buy MyChelle products from Vitacost - it is a lot cheaper than drugstore.com or other sites.

Candles -Pacifica - Indian Chai soy candle

We bought several of these in tins for a camping trip to Belize. Burning them, especially lots of them, does produce too sweet of a scent. However, what I love about these candles is the throw and more than six years later, we are still using these candles to make our rooms smell better. We sometimes burn one for a few minutes, but mostly we just take the tin lids off and the soy wax releases a nice fragrance into the room. Wish more Pacifica candles had this strong a scent, since I prefer to fragrance our home with natural oils.

Lotions/ Creams -Arcona - Pumpkin Lotion 10% Regenerate

This is a miracle product if you have KP or bacne. The formula is super-concentrated and loaded with powerful pumpkin enzymes and glycolic acid work wonders for eradicating KP and bacne. However, if you are looking for moisture, this is probably not the product for you. Pumpkin Lotion 10% has a natural and strong fragrance. Men definitely love it. Several have complimented me. Arcona is even pricier, but I love this active lotion even more than the chemical-smelling Aquaglycolic body wash/shampoo I use at the gym to keep bacne at bay. I may just repurchase this instead and apply post-shower. It seems more effective.

Even though I get ingrown hairs, this is a great Epilator! I bought this particular corded model because reviews on Amazon mentioned it has more power than the rechargeable versions and I liked that it could be used as a shaver and trimmer too. However, the trimmer isn't quite what I was looking for and I haven't tried the shaver. Unlike the coiled epilators of yore that only worked with long hairs, the Braun epilator has a jillion mini-tweezers that work really well to tweeze short stubble. I must think this device is amazing because if I could choose only a few beauty products, this would be among them!!!

I have repurchased this in the large size with a pump - love it for my fine hair! However, I think the Herbal Essence 2-in-1s (body and straightening) make my hair look better.

Eye Shadow -Stila - color wheel eyeshadow palette

This product wasn't what I expected, but it has turned out to be my favorite palette in modern memory. I thought the palette would be smaller - say, 4"x4", not 8"x8". I bought it for my gym locker in which it does not fit well because of the enormous size. On day 1, I busted the palette's hinge when it tumbled out of my locker. But.. there were lovely surprises about the palette. I expected to use the colors freehand, but trying the looks in the book has been fun. So far every look has really complimented my brown eyes in a way that is slightly different than I would come up with on my own. Some complain that the colors are unpigmented, but I think they are the perfect pigmentation for me - I am fair and use before heading back to work in an office on my lunch break. I love how the whole range of colors - including teal - can be worn back to the office, which would not be the case if the shadows were much more pigmented. The book instructs one to use a wet brush for more pigmentation and that has certainly worked for me. I don't have eyeshadow primer at the gym and the colors stay really well into the evening. I think this is a great value for those of you who aren't going for a shocking look.

Shampoo -Aqua Glycolic - Shampoo and Body Cleanser

I use this as a body wash post-workout at the gym with an Aquis ex-foliating shower towel. I hate the smell of Aqua Glycolic - and it didn't clear my chest acne - BUT, it sure has cleared by bacne better than anything else. Note that a little really does go a long way with this product. Worth trying if you have acne on your back. However, I am looking for a product with a less chemical odor.

This is one of my all time favorites. I don't know what light, matte hue I will put in my lip palette now that I think this great lipstick line might be discontinued. :-(

Perfect plum/berry to transition into Fall and Winter. Saw it on the Glamor beauty blog and snapped it up for my September pedicure! However my pedicure bubbled... not sure if it was the polish or basecoat.

I never would have bought this color if it weren't for a blog I read somewhere. I was going to buy either this or OPI's You Don't Know Jacques! Honestly, I thought You Don't Know Jacques! would be much more flattering on my skin because I am a winter, and I thought Chinchilly was just to greige and would clash with my skin or wash it out, but I went with the Chinchilly anyway and I am so glad I did. Chinchilly looks unexpectedly rich and deep on my pale fingers, so I think You Don't Know Jacques would have been too dark. I think you must try this color on before you judge it! It is fantastic.
