Eyeliner -Clinique - Cream shaper for eyes starry plum
Zandiland710 3/9/2011 1:08:00 PM
I wanted to like this based on the reviews, however the pencil is simply too soft to leave a smooth line. It's mostly smeared away by midday. I think $12 is expensive for an eyeliner anyway especially one that isn't user friendly. Prestige Total Intensity eyeliner for $4-5 is MUCH better.
I received this for x-mas. I loooove the scent. It's my new signature. It enhances the smell of any perfume. It also really softens my skin. Pretty cheap at $10 but I think this scent was limited edition.
Eyeliner -Prestige - Total Intensity Eyeliner Deepest Black

Thank you guys for the reviews. That's why I bought this. This liner is the best I've used so far. It's very easy to apply. It's an intense black so I have to be very lighthanded. My only gripe is that I have to wipe the excess from below my eyes with a q-tip around 2pm. Haven't found an eyeliner though that doesn't have this issue. It is so cheap. I'll probably buy additional colors as well.
Fragrances -Sanrio/Hello Kitty - Hello Kitty Eau de Toilette Spray

I really like this alot. It's very girly and sweet but on me it takes on a candy-and-cigarettes type of smell. Some people won't like that description, but I think its delicious!
Thank goodness for these reviews or I never would have tried this. I love it! Tastes and smells like vanilla so my husband and I love that. The color is glorious, light pink with gold shimmer, and different from anything I have. I am running to CVS to pick up several more tubes in case they ever discontinue this shade.
I love the strawberry scent and the smooth consistancy of this gloss. It's sheer with a bit of shimmer. It's not sticky, tingles a little, and is super shiny! I haven't noticed any real plumping but it sure feels like it's doing the job. My only complaint is that it doesn't last long which I won't even take a lippie off for because that is the nature of glosses. I always wear a lip stain and then apply gloss throughout the day. I keep this in my desk drawer at work for touch-ups and pick-me-ups..
Styling Products -Redken - Nature's Rescue Radiant Sea Spray

So I received a sample of this and loved the smell so I went into my salon and bought a bottle. The product claims to release this amazing smell whenever touched and it additionally works as a texturizer. First of all the bottle is small for the price. When I got it home I tried it out right away. It sprays in a stream not a mist which was dissappointing to me because I can't spray it directly into my hair. I have been spraying it into my palm with a dab of john freida frizz-eaze and then smoothing it over my finished hairstyle. It seems to control flyaways better than just with the frizz-eaze alone. That said, I don't really think the touch release formula does it's job. I don't notice that my hair smells any better during the day (my opinion, didn't ask my husband)than it did before and touching it makes no difference. Might be a good option for a gym bag though as it does make my hair smell delightful initially. I love this scent. I want a perfume that smells the same.
I love these liptints. I have 2 colors: vintage and sake. Vintage is a corally red color and sake is a mauvy-pink (think, your lips but better). I keep both in my purse at all times. i use a lipstain in the morning and use these as a sheer wash of color throughout the day. They don't have great staying power. I only get a few hours per application. They leave my lips slightly tingly like peppermint and have a minty smell also. Love them!
shanstuff on 2/7/2010 4:21:00 PM More reviews by shanstuff Age: 36-43 Skin: Normal, Fair, Cool Hair: Brunette, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown I was recommended this by my stylist. I have very fine, thin, color-treated hair and needed a leave-in conditioner that wouldn't leave my hair looking flat or greasy. This fits the bill! This lightweight leave-in conditioner is packaged in a 4oz spray bottle. It's pricey at $16.95, but a little goes a long way. Difficult tangles are no match for this stuff...they disappear in an instant. According to the label, it: repairs dry, damaged hair, adds shine, detangles, controls frizz, seals and protects hair color, prevents split ends, stops hair breakage, creates silkiness, enhances natural body, and is a flat iron spray and thermal protector. As for these claims: This serum has definitely helped repair my dry, damaged hair. It does add shine, controls frizz, and creates great silkiness. It's a FANTASTIC detangler (like nothing I've ever used before). I feel it is probably helping seal my color, as I don't notice as much lightening on my ends as I used to between colorings. My split ends seem minimized. I don't use it as a thermal protector, as I use Proclaim Glossing serum for that (see review), but I'm assuming it adds an additional layer of conditioning protection. I feel the detangling and conditioning properties are probably helping prevent breakage. As for adding body...well, I don't know that it ADDS body, but it doesn't weigh my hair down, which is a minor miracle for my type hair in a leave-in conditioner. Although this is expensive, I have definitely seen a huge difference in the condition of my hair. I no longer battle as many split ends, my hair is softer and shinier with fewer fly-aways, and my color lasts longer and wears more evenly than it used to. I will continue to purchase. WHAT SHE SAID!
Liquid -Clinique - Redness Solutions Makeup SPF 15 with Probiotic Technology
Zandiland710 11/9/2010 2:09:00 PM
First, I don't consider my skin to have redness problems. However, I got a sample at a time when I happened to be overdoing the tanning bed so I tried it out and it worked really well to conceal my sunburn in 2 ways actually: 1) it soothes redness and 2) it is liquid so by nature is not as drying as creme or powder foundations (especially useful when the sunburn turns into peeling). After being so impressed by the sample, I ran out and bought it from nordstrom. My first ever clinique purchase came with lots of complimentary gifts like a pretty floral makeup bag, eye makeup remover, oil mattifying lotion, defining mascara, and a beautiful sage eyeshadow. I have been using this for about a week. I like to use it right after my moisturizer has dried. It tends to cover up most minor imperfections and evens skin tone, as well as neutralize redness. After that, I have to dust my forehead, nose, and chin with powder to mattify everything. I have pretty clear skin so I usually only need concealer for my undereye circles. Everything else is evened out with this. Been using for about 2 months now and my skin is healthier than ever. I rated this a 4 only because I wish I didn't need the halp of powder to get a matte finish.
Eye Primer -Too Faced - Shadow Insurance, Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
Zandiland710 7/29/2010 1:34:00 PM
I have used UDPP in original and sin and this is so much better for 2 reasons. 1) It doesn't leave any evidence. UDPP original left white gunk around the eye and had to be seamlessly blended. Even when I thought I had done a great job, I would see the line from the primer in the mirror later in the day. UDPP sin had the same blending issue and was sparkly which I don't prefer. Shadow Insurance blends so easily. Much better! 2) The packaging is more convenient. I can squeeze all the product out and it's less bulky. Been using for 6 months and still love love love. Works perfectly! I'm starting to run low on my first tube and will definately repurchase.
This is my favorite shadow. Bought it on a whim for .98 and have worn it every day since. So flattering on my fair but tanned complexion. Flatters any eye color. I use with Too Faced Shadow Insurance and it looks perfect. My new favorite!
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - EXTRA VIRGIN Coconut Oil (All brands)

After reading the reviews about this, I bought some to use as a moisturizer. After 2 weeks, I rub this all over my body after showering and my skin is so soft and even toned. Added benefit, my nails. They are getting stronger and my cuticles look so nice. Haven't tried eating it yet though. Must try that soon. I disagree with some reviewers. I do put this on my face as a moisturizer and haven't had any trouble with acne.
This review is for the body lotion. I got a miniature bottle for $3 bucks and keep it in my desk at work. I have customers asking several times a day what perfume it is. They love it. I've never had such a good smelling lotion. Very moisturizing too which is surprising. Smells amazing! UPDATE: I now notice licorice in the the fragrance. I can't get over it. I hate licorice. Time to move on to a new scent.
This is a very strong vanilla. My fiance loves vanilla scents. Perfumes rarely last on me but this one lasts and lasts. I love the way my laundry smells after a week of wearing this perfume. This is the most grown-up fragrance I own. UPDATE: I now notice a trace of biscotti in this perfume that I don't like. I wear it much less often now. Dropping this to a 4 for the biscotti.
