Moisturizers -Juice Beauty - Green Apple Moisturizer SPF 15

For everyone who's frustrated with this product because of the pump -- I think there might be an easy fix. You take the silver cap off the bottom of the bottle and push up the bottom of the bottle as far as necessary to get the pump working again. (I figured this out only after seeing instructions on the bottle for the cheaper Juice Organics moisturizer, which is in an identical bottle.) I had almost given up on this product because of the pump, but I'm so glad that (I think) I've resolved the problem. I **love** this sunscreen -- it has a lovely texture, natural ingredients, no unnecessary chemicals. I let it absorb for a few minutes before I put makeup on, and it leaves a really nice smooth texture.
I'm still undecided on this one, but as of right now I probably wouldn't repurchase. I like that the ingredients are natural, and I think that with continued use I'll probably see some difference in my skin. (I've been using it for only about 3 weeks, so it's still too early for me to see any real difference.) The reason I'm not sure how much I like this is that, for a very dense, thick cream, it doesn't feel very emollient to me. Five minutes after I put it on, my skin feels a little tight and dry, and I feel like I have to add another moisturizer. Maybe it's more of a treatment cream than a moisturizer? I think once I finish this jar, I may go back to Juice Beauty's green apple antioxidant moisturizer.
This is the best cinnamon-bun-scented product I've ever used. It smells less like cinnamon and more like whatever makes real cinnamon buns smell so gooey and delicious as they're baking. I keep trying to duplicate this smell when I order products from companies offering different scents (e.g., MMU), and I can't seem to capture that gooey-ness -- other products smell nice but a little too cinnamony, like Big Red chewing gum. Works fine as a body wash; it's pretty moisturizing and lathers up nicely. Although I'd love to use this as a shampoo because of the yummy smell, I don't think it's anything special as a shampoo.
I've only ever used the solid form of this shampoo. It looks like a brick of mud and has a musty smell if you hold it to your nose. But it doesn't smell at all while you're using it, and it creates a pleasant lather. When I was brushing my hair afterward, I noticed that it was especially shiny and that it had a subtle reddish gleam. (My hair is normally neutral black.)
Masks -Aubrey Organics - Vegecol with Organic Aloe & Oatmeal Soothing Mask

This is a unique mask and/or scrub made with oatmeal (rather than clay) and other ingredients. There are also jojoba wax spheres for exfoliation. It is intended for oily skin but is also great for dry skin. It is entirely natural (contains various plant and flower extracts) and has an odd but very appealing scent and texture. I apply it and massage around lightly so that the jojoba beads can exfoliate. Then I leave it on for 10 minutes and rinse. It leaves your skin extremely soft, fresh, and clear.
I love this product -- it leaves my hair extremely soft and silky. It has a nice natural smell and is made of all natural ingredients. I grew up hearing from my Japanese relatives that rice bran is really good for skin and hair, and I do think this conditioner is pretty great. It is very expensive, though, and I haven't made up my mind whether it's worth the price. On the plus side, it has lasted me a long time because I use it just once or twice a week and don't seem to need very much each time.
Skincare - Face -Aubrey Organics - Jojoba Meal & Oatmeal Facial Mask & Scrub

This brand is hit-or-miss for me, but this product is just wonderful. You can use it as a mask or scrub. It is marketed for normal/dry skin, but I have oily skin and love it. It leaves your skin incredibly soft, clean, and clear. I hear it's excellent for acne as well. I think they might have just change the formula. I haven't tried the new formula, but I hope it's as good as the old one.
