Bath Treatments -LUSH - Yuzu and Cocoa Bubbleroon

Overall, these do create a pleasant bathing experience. But I do agree with previous reviewers, there are hardly any bubbles and what few there are disappear so quickly. They are moisturizing and smell lovely, but I think lush would have been better off marketing these as bath melts rather than bubble bars.

Concealers -Maybelline - Dream Lumi Touch

I really love this concealer, it is perfect for my dark undereye circles. I use a dab of GA corrector underneathe my eyes, apply my MAC F&B, then put this on top. It is very light, not cakey, and builds up very nicely. I couldn't get away with just one swipe of this, I need at least 2 layers, but that is way less than most of my concealers. I think it is thanks to the very peachy pink undertones of the shade I have, which is "Radiant". I always set my concealers with a silica powder, currently I use LM Secret Brightening Powder, so I have no issues with creasing or lasting power. A great concealer that not only covers dark circles, but brightens my undereye area. Love it~

Concealers -Hard Candy - Glamoflauge Concealer

I used this frequently quite awhile ago, but being the product junkie I am, I was always wanting to try new things. I cannot recall ever finding faults with this product to begin with, but I was hoping that maybe I would find something better. Well, I started using this again recently, and I have to say it cuts my routine in half. The better part of my morning is dedicated to concealing my under eye circles, which usually entails applying a corrector, foundation, then 2-3 layers of concealer. Not with this, I put a light layer of foundation on and two little dots of this under each eye, and blend with a moist sponge, and my circles are completely gone in under a minute. I set it with a brightening silica powder, and it does not budge all day. The shade light just so happens to be an almost perfect match. It is not too yellow, not too pink, and not so ridiculously light that my undereye area looks unnatural. I have to stress a damp sponge is the quickest, least painful way to apply this product. I have used my fingers in the past, but it takes forever to smooth out the product and get it looking perfect. I don't think I'd go near this with a brush, it is just too thick and goopy imo, I doubt it would blend very well. A sponge soaks up the excess product, and gives me a smooth, flawless result. This stuff is also pretty cheap, so yay. :)

Lip Treatments -LUSH - Mint Julips Lip Scrub
rated 4 of 5

Love this product! It is wonderful for ladies who wear lipstick on a daily basis. My lips are kind of normal, I think... But, as with normal lips, dead skin builds up on them through out the day. Even with a ton of lip balm, nothing can make your lipstick go on smoothly without removing the build up (ugh gross, I know). I agree, this product can do exactly what a washcloth does . . . But, I am not one to carry around a washcloth and rub my lips through out the day. This product is edible, so you can scrub it on after lunch, lick it off, and apply fresh lip products no problem. I would not consider this to be a moisturising product per se, tho it is very gentle and does not leave my lips feeling even close to dry, but I always apply my favorite balm, then lipstick after using this. My only qualm is the packaging, I am not a fan of the glass jar. I'd rather have something lighter, and more likely to survive a fall than glass.

Cleansers -Simple - Cleansing Facial Wipes
rated 5 of 5
Yeochin 8/21/2012 1:27:00 PM

I am honestly not terribly picky about what type of facial wipes I buy, as long as they don't sting. I have used Neutrogena and Ponds, both of which are decent enough. But I had been seeing these around lately, and decided to give them a shot. One thing I immediately noticed was how rough these are compared to Neutrogena and Ponds. But you know what that means? Less swipes to get all my face makeup off, whereas Ponds and Neutrogena take multiple, which often leads to a somewhat uncomfortable feeling afterwards. I have not used these for my eye makeup, as I honestly find nothing but my cleanser and water remove perfectly, but I am not sure I'd rub these on my lid or lashes since the texture of the cloth isn't very smooth. Overall I really like these for removing makeup, but I always follow with my cleanser afterwards.

Moisturizers -Origins - Make A Difference Skin Rejuvenating Treatment
rated 4 of 5
Yeochin 8/17/2012 1:57:00 PM

This is a nice, light moisturizer for both day and night. The texture is very gel like, and the scent is pleasant but very mild. It dries very quickly which is important in the morning, and it definitely does not make my skin any more oily than it already is. I would not recommend this for dry skintypes, it is not extremely hydrating. It can even leave my skin feeling a bit parched, which is why I opt for a heavier night cream at night. I notice if I used this at night, and wash my face in the morning, there is still a layer on top of my skin... The plus to that is there is something there to protect your skin from the elements or makeup, but the downside is I don't really know if this is getting absorbed. Another negative about using this during the day is that there is no SPF, sooo... That adds an extra step to my skincare in the morning. For those whose skin does not agree with SPF, this might be great for you. Overall, I think I really like this, and will use up the jar. The SA told me this is a 6 months supply, and I agree because you really do not need much at all to cover your whole face. I don't think it will stop me from searching for something better once it is gone though.

Polishes -Butter London - Teddy Girl
rated 3 of 5

Love this shade, a beautiful milky pink. The formula is difficult, but I attribute that to the very small brush. I feel that maybe if the brush was a bit larger, or maybe if the handle was longer, this would be so much easier to work with. I won't be repurchasing when it runs out, I will be looking for a similar shade though.

Polishes -China Glaze - Flip Flop Fantasy
rated 3 of 5

Really unique neon coral shade, with a matte formula. The matte formula makes this difficult to work with, so unfortunately I rarely reach for it. It does look okay after a topcoat, but it is just too fussy to be worn regularly.

Polishes -Essie - Cute As A Button
rated 5 of 5
Yeochin 8/16/2012 9:19:00 AM

I love this shade, it is a very warm pink with a touch of coral. The polish is pretty much perfectly opaque after one coat, it is very smooth and dries in a decent amount of time. A no fuss pretty summery shade, love it.

Loose Powders -Sonia Kashuk - Brightening Powder
rated 5 of 5
Yeochin 8/13/2012 10:52:00 AM

I quite like this powder, since my HG powderflage is no longer sold in stores I decided to try this. I find it works just as well as powderflage, it sets my concealer perfectly and doesn't cake at all. It adds minimal brightening, and it is very smooth. Unfortunately, I loathe the packaging! It is so bulky and strange. I don't need a compact or a sponge, and it takes ages for me to shake out the powder, which generally results in a big mess. It also leaks out of the side of the compact even when it is set to the "closed" position. I transferred it to my empty powderflage container, but I am moving on to LM secret brightening powder after this is gone. It would really be much handier if it was just in a little jar, but if you can suck it up and deal with it, the product inside is pretty great.
