Pressed Powders -Revlon - Nearly Naked Pressed Powder

I haven't loved a powder this much since Maybelline Dream Matte. This is definitely less "powdery" than the Dream Matte, and is almost creamy in texture. It definitely is up there with high end powders in how finely milled it is. I do happen to get shiny after about 5 or so hours, but that's to be expected with my oily skin. This is great for oily skin in the winter, but I'll be switching back to my Dream Matte in the warmer months. This is most definitely the BEST textured powder I have ever used, and when applied with a dense flat top brush it makes me look like I have perfect, airbrushed skin.

Loose Powders -Coty - Airspun face powder

This powder makes my skin look poreless and flawless after I've applied foundation and concealer. It has a sweet scent to it, and I enjoy that. However, the packaging irks me just a little. The sifter jar can be a little messy and hard to transport. The product itself is very economical and will last for quite a while!

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

I have been using this powder since it first came out. I've been bouncing back and forth from Cream to Sand. I love how smooth the powder is! It controls my oil for 4-5 hours even in the humidity of Florida. The coverage is sheer, so it's best to use it as a setting powder rather than by itself. It has never broken me out and is great for when I've gotten too heavy-handed with my blush.

Powder -Pur Minerals - Pressed Powder Foundation
rated 4 of 5

This is the one foundation that works quickly and effectively for me. However, it does contain parabens for those who are cautious about that. I have it in Golden Medium, and it took me a while to get a full coverage out of it. The only brush that I fend to work with this product is the Pur Minerals brush. I buff in the product to cover even my worst scars and break outs. I can use this foundation alone to cover all of that, but I have not tried it on my undereyes simply because I can't run the risk of drying or damaging my undereye skin. When I top this with my Dream Matte from Maybelline, I can go without being shiny for around 8 hours. As a warning, this does cling to dry skin and sometimes even fine lines that I have around my mouth, so be sure to moisturize.

Concealers -Dermablend - Cover Creme - Cream

I'll admit when the sales rep. came to me and put the foundation on me I was super happy. It seemed to cover my severe acne scars very well, and so I bought it in Natural Beige for $35. For the first few hours everything looked fine, but as I continued using it I broke out a week later. I didn't know what was causing so I continued using this foundation, as my acne healed and dried up the foundation made my dry areas very cakey even when I applied moisturizer and primer underneath. Needless to say, I will not be repurchasing, and I will not even attempt to use this under my eyes.

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup

I found this to be much more bendable than the original True Match. I'm W3 nude Beige, and this was perfect. The fact that it comes with a pump is even better. However, I did get oily faster than I thought I would. No big deal, since I could just top it with powder. I'd rather wear this in the colder seasons, as it was a bit much for me in the heat. So far, it has been the best drugstore foundation I have used yet. The coverage is buildable and it did not break me out.
