Cleansers -St. Ives - St.Ives foaming Apricot cleanser
XFilesLover 1/29/2013 7:40:00 PM
St.Ives is a very under rated brand. I went to the store looking for a cleanser and saw this one. It was cheep and I loved the St.Ives Apricot scrub so I decided to try it out. I was SO impressed with the results. It left my skin clear, moisturized and soft! I love this product, it was so great. *St.Ives has a clear skin line, sensitive skin line, and naturally beautiful line*

Toners -Simple - Soothing Skin Toner
XFilesLover 9/16/2012 8:05:00 PM
I really like this product. As a toner it doesn't show a lot of result's on the outside but that's what all toner's are like. It basically does a wonderful job of cleaning any extra oil off the skin and for an oily person like me it is great. I would really recommend applying it with a cotton pad though, just so no dirt from your hand's go into your pores. It work's better then any other toner I have tried and I will be repurchasing it :)

Moisturizers -Simple - Kind to Skin Vital Vitamin Night Cream
XFilesLover 9/16/2012 8:01:00 PM
So when I went to the drugstore I saw this simple line. I LOVE Aveeno but they are expensive for someone without a job. (About 11.99 Canadian for most product's) So when I saw this simple line I decided to try it. I really like this night cream, the packaging is cute, simple- but cute. It's scentless, gentle on your skin and work's like a charm. I put it on for the first time at night, woke up the next morning to soft, refreshed skin. It was amazing. I will be buying this product again simply because it was an effective and inexpensave product : )

Treatments -Pantene - Normal-Thick Hair 2-Minute Deep Conditioner
XFilesLover 9/13/2012 6:24:00 PM
Okay, so when I first got this product I was disappointed. It didn't give me shiny, moisturized, perfect hair the first time I used it. But, overtime my hair did improve SO much after using the product. I only use it once a week as the package advises but that's enough- it has worked wonders. My only complaints are that if you do use too much it can make your hair really greasy (Especially for an oily girl like me). Also, I am not working yet so I don't have gob's of money to be spending on hair product's. It was close to 8 dollars (Canadian). I know that it doesn't sound like a lot but for me it is. And personally I like Aussie's Three Minute Miracle better (It is only 3 dollars (Canadian) and is abasultly AMAZING. Still- If you like Pantene it is a great product for you to use. I would

Treatments -Aussie - 3 Minute Miracle
XFilesLover 8/22/2012 10:55:00 AM
So I have used Aussie Products for a long time now. I have been very impressed with all of them, they are extremely inexpensive and high quality. I heard everyone raving about the "3 Minute Miracle" products so I decided to give them a try. All I can say is WOW. They are all amazing, I can't get over the quality of the products. There are Miracle treatment's for all kinds of hair. Frizz Control, Smoothing treatment, deep conditioner and so much more. I paid 3.49 (Canadian) for this product and couldn't have been more impressed. The "Sydney Smooth" product makes my hair feel so soft, cleansed and refreshed without making it feel heavy. It smelt really good and wasn't a runny conditioner either. Will defiantly be re-buying all the Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Products. I promise you that you won't be disappointed.

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Maximum Growth Nailpolish- #02 Pure White Tip
XFilesLover 4/23/2012 6:07:00 PM
This product was "Okay". I bought this to help my nail's grow out and it fell short of it's promise. I found it didnt really make much of a difference in the "Growth" of my nails. Also the white for the french Manicue was runny and you had to put about 7 coats on it to make it look nice and bright. I wouldent buy this again simply because it didnt hold out on it's promises of helping nail groth or makeing a good french manicure.

This product was pretty expensave so I didnt know if I should buy it. Still, i did and brought it home. I thought this product was good. The down sides... -The colour matches wernt all that great like the product suggests. -It was messy -It felt really heavy on -It was a little pricy The good things... -It had good coverage -Lated a long time -You didnt need alot of it on for it to do it's job.

Stick -L.A. Colors - Mystic foundation/concealer stick
XFilesLover 4/22/2012 7:48:00 PM
I went to the drugstore and saw this for 2.35 (Canadian) so i thought "Why not try?". Well all i can say is you get what you pay for. The colour choices wernt great. They were either extremely light or extremely dark. They gave an orangy sorta cast and i only used it twice. If your looking for a cheep foundation/concealer it's not that bad but for anyone who's willing to pay a little extra there are many other better one's out there.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Omega
XFilesLover 4/22/2012 7:39:00 PM
I was really excited when my friend gave me this for my birthday. The colours were so beautiful and I knew MAC products had a good reputation. It held out on it's promises, it went on smooth, it was shimmery (But not too shimmery) and had beautiful results. I was very happy with this. Sadly all MAC products are expensave. The only reason i wouldent buy this again is because of the price. It was too expensae for how long it lasted. But it's a beautiful eyeshadow and if your willing to pay that much for it I would recomend it.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies
XFilesLover 4/22/2012 7:31:00 PM
I bought this product because my favorite mascara ran out and it was on sale so i thought "Why not?". Well the product was "Okay". I know that generally waterproof makeup is usually harder to get off but I fount this product was TERRIBLE for trying to get of. Also, it made a mess on the container after a while and again, it was hard to get off. Too much product came out on the brush and makes the application gloppy. On a positive note, it did give nice, full lashes. And it did carry thrue on it's waterproof promise. Just be ready to clean up a mess.

Liquid -Revlon - PhotoReady Airbrush Mousse Makeup
XFilesLover 4/20/2012 4:55:00 PM
I thought that overall this was a really good product. I was abit skeptical to use it when I saw the price. It was 20.00$ (Canadian) and I didnt know if I would even like it that much. Still, i bought it and used it when i got home. I loved the product, i thought it lasted a long time, there was perfect colour matches for me and the mousse was light. Maybe everyone thinks this should make your skin look flawless but I dont think thats what the product is meant to do. I think that it is a base, i put a press power on top and it makes my skin glow. I would defently buy this product again : ) (This product is not meant for people with bad acne or redness. It's doesent conceal that well)
